AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 Do as I do, for I am doing as Christ did.
1 Ayu Keriso abi’u’ur na’atube kwa ayu kwani’u’uru.
2 You are doing well. You remember everything I told you. And you are doing what I taught you to do.
2 Ayu sawar ta ta’amaim mar etei kwanunuhu isan naatu bai’obaiyen abit kwabukikin kwama’am isan, a merar ayi abobora’ara’ahi.
3 But I want you to know this. Christ is the head of every man. The husband is the head of the wife. And God is the head of Christ.
3 Baise boun ayu akokok kwa etei kwanaso’ob gewas. Keriso i orot ana ukwarin, Babin ana ukwarin i orot naatu Keriso ana ukwarin i God.
4 Any man who talks to God or speaks words from God with his head covered brings shame on his head.
4 Orot yait aribun sumasum auman eyoyoyoban, o tur God biyanane baib eo’orereb Keriso biya’ohow ebitin.
5 But any woman who talks to God or speaks words from God with her head not covered brings shame on her head. She is just the same as a woman who has cut off all her hair.
5 Naatu babin yait aribun ana sumasum bosair eyoyoyoban, o tur God biyanane bai eo’orereb, aawan biya’ohow ebitin, ana itinin i babin aribun himafuribe.
6 If a woman does not cover her head, she might as well cut off her hair. But if it is a shame for a woman to cut off her hair, or to shave her head, then she should have her head covered.
6 Babin yait aribun men nasumisum, gewasin aribun hina’afuw. Baise babin aribun afuwin o mafurin isan biyan nao’ohow na’at gewasin aribun nasum.
7 A man does not need to cover his head because he was made like God is. Man is Gods glory. Woman is mans glory.
7 Orot aribun men nasum, anayabin orot i God ana itinin naatu ana fair, baise babin i orot ana fair.
8 Man was not made from woman, but woman was made from man.
8 Anayabin orot i men babinane namih, baise babin i orotone na.
9 And man was not made for woman, but woman was made for man.
9 Na’atube orot i men babin isan God eo matar, baise babin i orot isan matar.
10 She should show this by having her head covered, because of the angels.
10 Ana’anaban iti isan, tounamatar matahimaim babin aribun nasum, saise nati sumasumamaim ebi’obaiyit, babin i orot ana fair babanamaim ema’am.
11 But the Lord did not make woman without man, and he did not make man without woman.
11 Regah ana yawasamaim tama’am babin men orot nihamiy akisin nabin ana fairamaim nama, na’atube orot men babin nihamiy akisin nabin ana fairamaim nama.
12 As woman comes from man, so man is born by woman. And everything comes from God.
12 Anayabin babin orotone na, na’atube babin biyanane taub orot yai. Baise sawar etei i Godane hina.
13 What do you think? Does it look right for a woman to talk to God in public with her head not covered?
13 Taiyuw kwanibatiy kwana’itin, babin aribun ana sumasum nabosair, bebeyanamaim nayoyoyoban i gewasin ai en?
14 It would be a shame for a man to have long hair. Everyone knows this.
14 It ata so’ob i sawar biyatamaim temamatar imaim ebi’obaiyit, orot aribun ituw manin ere’er i boro biyan na’ohow.
15 But long hair is something for the woman to be proud of. Her hair has been given to her for a covering.
15 Baise babin aribun ituw manin ere’ere i ana itinin ebigewasin. Anayabin aribun manin re’ere i yumatan ana sumasum na’atube.
16 Does anyone still want to quarrel about this matter? This is what we do. And this is what the churches of God do also.
16 Baise orot yait ayu ao isan inagamigam, anao inanowar. Kwafiren isan ata ef men ta ema’am boro imaim tani’ufunun o God ana ekaleisia wanawanan kwafiren ana ef men ta ema’am boro i tani’a’ait.
17 In the next thing I have to talk about, I cannot say that you are doing well. Your meeting together is more bad than good.
17 Roube’aten tur iti anao kwananowar. Ayu kwa boro men merarayow anitimih. Anayabin kwaru’ay a kou’ay kwabaib wanawanan kakafin i erara’at naatu ana gewasin i en.
18 First, I hear that in the church meeting you divide yourselves into groups. I think this may be true.
18 Ayu tur anowar kwa ekaleisia tutufin etei kwana kwabita’imon akwafiren wanawan i kouseb ema’am, naatu ayu abitumatum iti i tur anababatun.
19 You also have groups of people who do not think the same way. Because of them you will soon learn which people please God the most.
19 Men kwanakasiy, wanawananamaim kouseb iti na’atube emamatar, saise orot iyab sinaf gewasin tisisinaf boro bebeyan hinatit kwana’itih.
20 When you meet together, it is not the Lords supper that you eat.
20 Kwaruru’ay ana veya kwa i men Regah ana Bay Aafufun kwa’aau’umih.
21 People take their own food and eat it without waiting. One gets nothing to eat. Another person drinks too much.
21 Anayabin bay aa ana veya orot afa timatkabikabiy te’aa harew fokarih tetom tibikoko’aw, naatu sabuw afa i tibi’aamoromorob.
22 Do you not have your own homes where you can eat and drink? Do you have no respect for the church of God? Do you want to make poor people ashamed? What shall I say to you? Shall I say you are doing well? No, you are not doing well in this matter!
22 Kwa a bar tema’am boro imaim kwataa kwatatom ai en? Aisim iti na’atube kwasinaf God ana ekaleisia kwabi’afiy, naatu yababan wairafih biya’ohow kwabitih. Kwanotanot boro abisa anao kwananowar, a merar anay nati kwasisinaf isan? Boro men kafa’imo a merar anayimih.
23 The Lord gave me what I taught you. This is what it was. On the night when the Lord Jesus was sold to his enemies, he took bread.
23 Anayabin ayu Regah biyanane abisa abaib i kwa ai’obaiyi. Ata Regah gugumin hiyayanuw ana maramaim rafiy bai
24 He thanked God for it. Then he broke it and said, Take this bread and eat it. This is my body which is broken for you. Do this so that you will remember me.
24 God ana merar yi imasib itih eo, “Iti i ayu biyau kwa abit, kwanab kwana’ani’aan ana maramaim ayu kwananuhu.”
25 In the same way, after they had eaten, he took the cup. He said, This cup is the new agreement made by my blood. Every time you drink from this cup, do it to remember me.
25 Ef ta’imon kerowas isan na’atube sinaf, bay hi’aa ufunamaim kerowas wine hisuwai batabat bai, God ana merar yi, iuwih eo, “Iti kerowas i God ana Obaibasit Boubun ayu au rara’amaim ebubusuruf. Imih mar etei iti na’atube kwanasinaf, kwanatomatom ana maramaim ayu kwanuhu.”
26 Every time you eat this bread and drink from this cup you tell about the Lords death, until he comes again.
26 Mar etei iti rafiy kwana’aan, kerowasamaim wine kwanatom, naatu Regah momorob isan kwanabinan kwananan i namatabir maiye nan natit.
27 So then, when anyone eats the bread and drinks from the cup in a way that is not right, he has done wrong to the body and blood of the Lord.
27 Isan imih orot yait erebosa rafiy nab na’aan naatu Regah ana kerowasamaim natomatom, nati orot i bowabow kakafin maiyow Regah biyan naatu ana rara isan esisinaf kakaf.
28 Each one must look into his own heart carefully. When he has done that, he may eat the bread and drink from the cup.
28 Imih wantoro’ot orot taiyuwin ana yawas nanutitiy na’itin gewas, imaibo rafiy nab na’aan naatu kerowas nab natom.
29 The person who eats and drinks in a wrong way will be punished. He does not take it as the Lords body.
29 Anayabin orot yait Regah biyan naatu ana rara hai buriburih men naso’ob gewas, rafiy nab na’aan naatu kerowasamaim wine natomatom, i taiyuwin ana baibatiyen bai enan.
30 That is why many of you are weak and sick. Many have died.
30 Ana’an iti isan kwa moumur na’in biyah hiririm naatu kwabisasawuw naatu afa i himoroboka.
31 But if we took time to look into our hearts first, then we would not be punished.
31 Baise it taiyuwit anababatun tanabibatiyit gewas, boro men tanan God nibatiyitamih.
32 When we are punished, the Lord is teaching us to do right, so that we will not be punished with the rest of the people of the world.
32 Baise Regah nabibatiyit ana veya baikwatutunen boro nitit, naatu God tafaram baimakiy nabitin it boro men auman nititamih.
33 So, my Christian brothers, when you come together to eat the Lords supper, wait on your turn.
33 Isan imih taituwau, Regah ana Bay Aafufun isan kwanaruru’ay taituwa kwanakaifih.
34 If a man is hungry, he should eat at home. Then when you meet, you will not be found in the wrong. There are other matters. I will talk about them when I come to see you.
34 Naatu orot yait aa momorob gewasin ana baremaim bay naa, saise a kou’ay kwanabaib ana maramaim boro men God ana baibatiyen wanawanan narun. Naatu sawar afa i boro ayu anan anatitabo anayabuna.
