1 የሱሳ አደ ማሱሳይ እባዶን ሰጋኖ ሀጋአበ፥
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 ዎኖናት ካዳሩረ ኤረኬሳት ሃስኖን ኣሞ ካኤካሳተሮ ዎኖ ኣን ላራ፥
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ዎኖና ሃስኖን ካኮንሰጋተሮ እባዶ ከኬሲን ኦሀንዳረን ሀንዳ ፋራተ፥ እባዶ ጎአመን ላኮኤሜይናኖ አመ።
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “አደና ኦካለ ኦሀንዳራን ፋረጉረ ኦኡማመራነ ጎርታ አራርና ካቃባን ‘ግድኬ ኤናኣየጉረ ኤካሳየራ ካመን ዱባ ማንኮኤካተሮ ማራን ሃስኖን ኮዬን፥ አማራ አማ ሰጋ።’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 “ኦኡማሜራን ጎአመን ኡምት ዲደንጉሬን፤ ኮ እራ ቶስ፥ ካካለ ዶክ ዳዳላይን ሴተ፥
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 ኦሄሴራን አደን ኦሀንዳራን አቤንጉረን አቦስሴን ላጋዴን።
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 ዎኖና አማራተጉረ ዎታዳራ ፋረጉረ ሀኑኡ ኦላጋዴራን ላጋዲስሰ፤ ካታማትሶና ኤለኒ ጉበ።
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 “ኤሰኮና ኦሀንዳሬነ ሃ አመ፥ ‘ካሃስኖ ኣሞ ኤካተራ፥ አየሱን ጎአመን ኦኡማሜራና አሞን ኦዶትሳራን ሌን ማንኮሙታናዋተራን ማራን፤
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 ካኮሰሴታራን ራድ ብያጉደን ካሄልቴን እባዶ ዱባ ካጅላ ኣሞ ቶስ ኡማ’ አመ።
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 ኦሀንዳራና ራድ ቤንጉሬን ካሄሌን እባዶ ካኢዳና ካሜላን ዱባ ኩኩይሰንጉረን ካሃስኖ ምን ማርት አማጌን።
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “ዎኖና ታኡማንተቶ ማርት ድን ምን ኦርድ ጎታብሮ እባዶት ኮ ካሃስኖ ሳርስ ሀሳርሳኖን ካግሮ ዴ።
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ሃና አመ፤ ‘አን ካጌላታሮ!’ ካሃስኖ ሳርስ ሀሳርሳኖን ምሲ ሂታራ ታብን ዳንዴተ? እባዶትና ጎአመን ታአምአባብሮ ዋተ።
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 “ዎኖና ኦሀንዳራነ፤ ‘ገነና ሉቃና ሽያጉደን ሳሬ ካግሮ ጢልንጋክ ሙጉድ ቶስ ቤሳዴን ኡሱ ሻፋ፥ ኤሴና ኦታና ኢልኮ ፎጫኖ ልናራ’ አመ።
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 ኤሰኮ የሱሳ፥ “ኦኡማሜራና ኦሞጋንያን፥ ኦአሳባሜራን ጎአመን ሁጫርያን” አመ።
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 ኤሰኮ ፋራሳዊል ቤን ሴታ ግራን ምስምሲ የሱሳ አዬስከሳይ ጦይ ታአም አብናራን ማካረን።

16 እሶኮ ኦአጋልሳታረና ታሄሮዶሳ ኡናነ ዎታ የሱሳ ቶስ ፋሬንጉሬን፥ “ካአጋልስሳቶ!” “አት ካሩም ላኖና ራ ካዋ ሩሚ ካአጋልስሳቶ ላኖ፥ እባዶ አብሳታ ካኡሉልሶን ዱባና ኢል ቶይ ካድያቶ ላኖ ኖ ካንሶዋ።
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 ካሮም ዎኖላልኮክ ዎኖዉን ጊራ ሙራኖ ዶትሳራ ሙ ላኮዶትሳሮያ አላ ኖን ሰጊ? አመን ሆሳተን።”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 የሱሳና ምጌትሶ አዴሰረ፥ “እስን ኢፍሳዶለ መዉን አዬሲ እን ጫፍን ዶታታን?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 ጊራ ታሙራታን ማራጋደ አላ ኢን ቱሳ?” እሶና ጣጋራ ቶ ከኔን።
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ኡሱና፥ “ህታ ማራጋዴይ ጉት ታሙታታ ምዲ ታዮታ? ጹፍና አደ ታዮታ?” አመ።
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 እሶና አባበን “ካሮም ዎኖያ” አመን። ኡሱና አባበረ “ካሮም ዎኖኮክ ካሮም ዎኖን፥ ካዋና ዋዉን ስሳ” አመ።
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 እሶና ሂካ ማለንጉሬን አዬስኬሳ ሳዳ ኢሰን ሴተን።
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 ኤሰ አሪ ጎይኮ ክያኖ ላግሮ አመ ካአማናራ ካሶዶቃውል እባዶ የሱሳ ቶስ ኤሜተንጉረ ሃ አመ ሆሳተ፤

24 “ካአጋልስሳቶ!” ሙሴ፤ “እባዶት ኮ ኦርቴሳኮ ይስ ሀኡሙሎን ጎጎየ፥ ካጎየሮ አቢኬሳኮት ኦር አቢኬሳ አታይጉረ ኡሱን ሳኒ ሀካየ አመራ።
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 አቢላል ቶዶባ ኖ ዶሌ ግታ፥ ካሆሬ ኦር አታተጉረ ይስ ሀኡሙሎን ካኮጎዋረ ጎራታ አቢኬሳና ኦር የላተ፤
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 ሂካማሌ አደ ካሴድኮ ታ ቶዶባ ጌሮ ሂካማሌ ጎዬን።
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 ዱባንኮ ሃሬ ሄለልትቲና ጎተ።
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 ሃንሱን ኤሰ ዱባን ማንኮኬሳንተቶ ማራን ጎይኮ ታክያኖ አሪ እሶ አቢላል ቶዶባ ኦሮኮ ኤኪን ኦር ልናታ?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 የሱሳና እሶን አባበረ፥ “እስን ቁሉክ ማጻፋጆልና ሁና ካዋ ማንኮአዴሳናዋተታን ማራን ሽር አማታን።
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 ኦጎየራን ጎይኮ ኪ ጎአባባቴን ዳሩሪ ካግሮ ኤርግቻል ኣን ልናራን ኳሬ ላኮአታይናራን፤ ላኮናኬሳምናራን።
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 ኦጎየራን ጎይኮ ክያኖኮክ ጋራ ዋ እስኑን ካአዬሰሮ ላኮናባብቴታንያ?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘አን ካአብራመ ሄዶ፥ ካይሳቃ ሄዶ፥ ካያይቆባ ሄዶያ፥’ ሃንሱን ዋ አርዶክ ሄዶያ ኳሬ ላኮካጎይ ሄዶዮ።”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 ጎሳና ሂካ ካኮማላረ ጎራታ አጋልስስኬሳ ሳደን።
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 የሱሳ ሶዶቃውል አባብ ትር ጫልኢሳኖ ካኮማላረን ጎራታ ፋራሳዊል ራቶ ኩኩአመን።
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 እሶኮ ኮ ሴራ ካሙሴ ካአጋልስሳረ የሱሳ ጫፍን ዶተጉረ ሃ አመ፦
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “ካአጋልስሳቶ! ሴራል ካሙሴ ዱባኮ ካሮራራ ኤክ አጃጃያ?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 የሱሳና እሶን አባበረ፥ “ ‘ጎታ ሄዶካ ምግት ዎዳናይ፥ ምግት ኔፎይ፥ ምግት ቆፋይ ጌላ’።
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 ሂክ አጃጃ ካሆራርጄና ዱባንኮ ካሮራሮ አጃጃያ።
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 ካላም አጃጃና ሂካ ኣን ላራ፤ ህክና ‘ኦላታ እስኦታ ኣን ጌላ’ ካአማሮያ።
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 ሴራ ካሙሴና ካሄገሮልኮክ አጋልስስ ዱባ ሂካ አጃጃ ላማ ጉት ባቴን ግራን አመ።”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 ፋራሳዊል ኩኩአመንጉረን የሱሳ ሃ አመ እሶ ሆሳተ፥
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “ጋራ ካክርስቶሳ መ ኣን ላራ? ሳኒ ታዮያ?” አመ እሶ ሆሳተ።
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 የሱሳና፥ “ሀያ ዳዉተ አያና ቁሉክና ሁናይ ሙን ኡሱ፥ ‘ጎታ!’ አማራ? አመ።
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “ ‘ጎታ ጎታኬዉን!
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ሃኑን ዳዉተ፥ ‘ጎታ!’ አም ጎኡምሮ ሀያ ክርስቶሳ ምሲ ሳኒቴሳ ሊን ዳንዳራ?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 ሃፉራ ኮና አባብን ካዳንዴራ ጎርቱን ኤሰ አርኮ ሀጋአበረ ሆሳይን ካጃባተ ማዮና ላግሮ።
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
