1 Conheces o tempo em que as cabras monteses dão à luz nos rochedos? Observaste o parto das corças?
2 Hast thou noumbrid the monethis of her conseyuyng, and hast thou knowe the tyme of her caluyng?
2 Contaste os meses de sua gravidez, e sabes o tempo de seu parto?
3 Tho ben bowid to the calf, and caluen; and senden out roryngis.
3 Elas se abaixam e dão cria, e se livram de suas dores.
4 Her calues ben departid, and goen to pasture; tho goen out, and turnen not ayen to `tho hyndis.
4 Seus filhos tornam-se fortes e crescem nos campos, apartam-se delas e não voltam mais.

22 He dispisith ferdfulnesse, and he yyueth not stide to swerd.
22 Ri-se do medo, nada o assusta, não recua diante da espada.

27 É por tua ordem que a águia levanta o vôo, e faz seu ninho nas alturas?
28 He dwellith in stoonys, and he dwellith in flyntis brokun bifor, and in rochis, to whiche `me may not neiye.
28 Ela habita o rochedo, e nele passa a noite, sobre a ponta rochosa e o cimo escarpado.
29 Fro thennus he biholdith mete, and hise iyen loken fro fer.
29 De lá espia sua presa, seus olhos penetram as distâncias.
30 Hise briddis souken blood, and where euere a careyn is, anoon he is present.
30 Seus filhinhos se alimentam de sangue; onde quer que haja cadáveres, ali está ela.
