1 Coríntios 3
Weymouth NT (WMTH) vs MNT
1 And as for myself, brethren, I found it impossible to speak to you as spiritual men. It had to be as to worldlings–mere babes in Christ.
1 Taitu ayu men karam boro sabuw iyab God Anunin hibai hima’am au’uwih na’atube kwa au’uwimih. Baise tafaram ana naniyanamaim au’uwi, anayabin kwa a baitumatum Keriso wanawananamaim men ra’at. Kwa a’itinin i kek sosof na’atube.
2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food, since for this you were not yet strong enough. And even now you are not strong enough:
2 Imih kwa i boro kek sosof na’atube anitomani, men bay mafur anit, anayabin kwa bay aanin isan wa’ar men hiyen, tur anababatun wa’ar men hikufot nati bay isan.
3 you are still unspiritual. For so long as jealousy and strife continue among you, can it be denied that you are unspiritual and are living and acting like mere men of the world?
3 Kwa ama ana itinin i boro’ika tafaram ana yawasamaim kwama’am, anayabin kwa boro’ika kwama kwabibobowen, taiyuw nena kwabigamigam, imih nati ebi’obaiyit, kwa i tafaram nowan naatu tafaram ana naniyanamaim kwama’am.
4 For when some one says, »I belong to Paul,« and another says, »I belong to Apollos,« is not this the way men of the world speak?
4 Imih orot ta kuo, “Ayu i Paul abi’ufunun,” orot ta kuo, “Ayu i Apollos abi’ufunun.” Nati na’atube kwabiwa’an ana itinin kwa i tafaram ana sabuw tisisinafube kwama kwasisinaf.
5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are just God's servants, through whose efforts, and as the Lord granted power to each, you accepted the faith.
5 Men kwananot Apollos i orot na’in, naatu men kwananot Paul i orot na’in, En. Aki i God ana akir wairafi, imih kwa aibaisi kwana God kwabitumitum, nati i aki ta’ita’imon ai bowabow God biti’imaim abowabow.
6 I planted and Apollos watered; but it was God who was, all the time, giving the increase.
6 Ayu ubatanum, Apollos ufu na tafan harew rir. Baise God akisinamo iwa’an ub kuboun yen ra’at.
7 So that neither the planter nor the waterer is of any importance. God who gives the increase is all in all.
7 Orot yait ub tatanum naatu orot yait harew ririr i men abisa hiwa’an matar. Baise God akisinamo ub kaif yen ra’at
8 Now in aim and purpose the planter and the waterer are one; and yet each will receive his own special reward, answering to his own special work.
8 Orot yait ub tatanum naatu orot yait harew ririr hairi hai not i ta’imon hinot hisinaf. Imih God boro ta’ita’imon hai bowabowamaim hibowabow isan nibaiyanih.
9 Apollos and I are simply fellow workers for and with God, and you are God's field– God's building.
9 Anayabin it etei i tai’ofbonen God isan tabowabow, imih kwa dogor i God ana menaatu ana bar.
10 In discharge of the task which God graciously entrusted to me, I –like a competent master-builder– have laid a foundation, and others are building upon it. But let every one be careful how and what he builds.
10 Manaw kabeber Godane abai, bar ana wabat arouw, wowab so’obayah tewowowab na’atube. Naatu orot afa iti bar ana wabat tafanamaim hibat tewowowab. Baise orot ta’ita’imon matah toniwa’an bar hinanutitiy gewas hinawowab.
11 For no one can lay any other foundation in addition to that which is already laid, namely Jesus Christ.
11 Anayabin God i bar ana wabat ta’imon maiyow Jesu Keriso akisin bai ata wabatamih rouwika.
12 And whether the building which any one is erecting on that foundation be of gold or silver or costly stones, of timber or hay or straw–
12 Imih orot ta ta boro gold, silver, agim biyah rurumih, ai maiyow, raiyarayar o geyagey rourihimaim boro iti wabat tafan hinawowab nayen.
13 the true character of each individual's work will become manifest. For the day of Christ will disclose it, because that day is soon to come upon us clothed in fire, and as for the quality of every one's work– the fire is the thing which will test it.
13 Naatu orot ta ta hai bowabow etei boro nibebeyan, anayabin nati ana veya’amaim marakaw boro nakusisiar nare, naatu wairaf nato’ab ata bowabow nafufun etei hina’arat hinadew hinare. Imaibo bowabow yabin anababatun boro nirerereb.
14 If any one's work –the building which he has erected– stands the test, he will be rewarded.
14 Naatu bar nati wabat anababatun tafanamaim arahina’e ebatabat wowabayan boro ana baiyan nab.
15 If any one's work is burnt up, he will suffer the loss of it; yet he will himself be rescued, but only, as it were, by passing through the fire.
15 Baise orot yait ana bar wairaf ea’arah ana sawar etei boro na’arah ni’en, naatu orot boro nayawas, nayayawas ana itinin i wairaf wanane bihir titit na’atube.
16 Do you not know that you are God's Sanctuary, and that the Spirit of God has His home within you?
16 Kwanaso’ob kwa biya i anababatun God ana kwafiren bar, naatu God Anunin Kakafiyin i kwa wanawanamaim ema’am.
17 If any one is marring the Sanctuary of God, him will God mar; for the Sanctuary of God is holy, which you all are.
17 Orot yait God ana bar egugurus, God boro ibo nagurus, anayabin God ana bar i kakafiyin naatu kwa biya i nati bar.
18 Let no one deceive himself. If any man imagines that he is wise, compared with the rest of you, with the wisdom of the present age, let him become »foolish« so that he may be wise.
18 Men taiyuw kwanifufuwimih. Orot ta kwa wanawanamaim nanot nao ayu i not wairafu iti tafaram wanawananamaim. Kwaihamiy taiyuwin ifuwifuw, saise i ana baifufuwenamaim boro ana not narerekab.
19 This world's wisdom is »foolishness« in God's sight; for it is written, »He snares the wise with their own cunning.«
19 Anayabin tafaram ana ukwar rerekab God matanamaim i yabin en. Buk Atamaninamaim hikirum hio na’atube. “Sabuw not wairafih hai so’obamaim taiyuwih hai warasa hiyai buwih tere’ere.”
20 And again, »The Lord takes knowledge of the reasonings of the wise–how useless they are.«
20 Naatu Buk Atamaninamaim iban eo maiye, “Regah sabuw etei hai not naatu hai so’ob wanawanan nutitiy i’itin i nikuwat.”
21 Therefore let no one boast about his human teachers.
21 Isan imih sabuw abisa tisisinaf isan men kwana bora’ara’ahihimih, anayabin sawar etei kwa nowa.
22 For everything belongs to you –be it Paul or Apollos or Peter, the world or life or death, things present or future– everything belongs to you;
22 Paul, Apollos, Peter, me tafaram, yawas, o morob, mar iti boun enan, o mar boro nanan, iti sawar tutufin etei i kwa nowa.
23 and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
23 Kwa i Keriso nowan naatu Keriso i God nowan.
