1 Yahweh reigns; let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad.
1 O SENHOR reina; regozije-se a terra; alegrem-se as muitas ilhas.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
2 Nuvens e escuridão estão ao redor dele; justiça e juízo são a base do seu trono.
3 A fire goes before him, And burns up his adversaries round about.
3 Um fogo vai adiante dele, e abrasa os seus inimigos em redor.
4 His lightnings lightened the world: The earth saw, and trembled.
4 Os seus relâmpagos iluminam o mundo; a terra viu e tremeu.
5 The mountains melted like wax at the presence of Yahweh, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
5 Os montes derretem como cera na presença do Senhor, na presença do Senhor de toda a terra.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, And all the peoples have seen his glory.
6 Os céus anunciam a sua justiça, e todos os povos vêem a sua glória.
7 Let all them be put to shame that serve graven images, That boast themselves of idols: Worship him, all you{+} gods.
7 Confundidos sejam todos os que servem imagens de escultura, que se gloriam de ídolos; prostrai-vos diante dele todos os deuses.
8 Zion heard and was glad, And the daughters of Judah rejoiced, Because of your judgments, O Yahweh.
8 Sião ouviu e se alegrou; e os filhos de Judá se alegraram por causa da tua justiça, ó Senhor.
9 For you, Yahweh, are most high above all the earth: You are exalted far above all gods.
9 Pois tu, Senhor, és o mais alto sobre toda a terra; tu és muito mais exaltado do que todos os deuses.
10 O you{+} who love Yahweh, hate evil: He preserves the souls of his saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
10 Vós, que amais ao Senhor, odiai o mal. Ele guarda as almas dos seus santos; ele os livra das mãos dos ímpios.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart.
11 A luz semeia-se para o justo, e a alegria para os retos de coração.
12 Be glad in Yahweh, you{+} righteous; And give thanks to his holy memorial [name].
12 Alegrai-vos, ó justos, no Senhor, e dai louvores à memória da sua santidade.
