1 Yesu kandi yagamba-gamba nawo mu olugero na awoola otino,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “*Owuami owua ku igulu wuesa okufwananiwua no omwami owaikazizia omuzia waae omugomo ogwa enserezi.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Yatuma awemirimo waae ku awantu awaaetwa mu omugomo ogwo, wagie wawalage mbwe waaze, ni waalowa okuuza chee.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “Nikuemao yatuma awemirimo awangi okukira awayatuma kuluweri na awalaga otino, ‘Mugie mulage awantu awanyaeta mbwe miire okufumba okuria kwange, engʼombe yange enovu emiire okuwaagwa kandi ewintu wiona wiri ansi. Waganye waaze mu omugomo.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 “Ni iwo waatoola amangʼana ago wutono kandi wafuma wagenda mu engira ziawu — omulala mu omusiri gwae, kandi owundi okuniiwa.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Awandi ku iwo waa-amba awemirimo waae awo, wawakorra uwiiwi kandi wawaita.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Enda eya omwami yayia ino. Yatuma awa-iiye waae wagia waita awiisi awo kandi waona emigizi giawu.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 “Nikuemao yalaga awemirimo waae otino, ‘Omugomo ogwa enserezi gumiire okutuuka, na awantu awanyaeta ngawasugre no okuuzamo.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Mufume mugie ku engira enkate-kaate, mueete awantu woona awamunatuukra.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Kutio awemirimo waafuma wagia ku engira ezia omugizi wagia wakumia awantu woona awawaatuukra, awalootu na awawiiwi, kandi enyumba eya omugomo yaizula na awageni du-du du-du du!
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “No olwa omwami yaingira okuuza okuwona awageni, yawona omuntu omulala owawanga na ataiwooye enguwo ezia omugomo ogwa enserezi.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Yamuwuuzia otino, ‘Omwiko wange, iwue waingiire ano otie no owula ne enguwo ezia enserezi?’ Omunwa ogwa omuntu oyo gwa-anda.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 “Nikuemao omwami yalaga awemirimo waae mbwe, ‘Mumusiwe amakono na amagulu, mumurigize enze mu ekierema aa awantu warra kandi wasienenia amiino.’
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 “Ni kutio aeniki awaeeterwe wari wangi, na awaaza okulowolwa watono.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Nikuemao *Awafarisaayo waafuma enze wagia wawurizania ku kiomo waka-amba Yesu na amangʼana gaae iye omwene.

16 Waatuma awalonzi waawu alala na awantu awaaganya no owukangasi owua *Eroode. Awantu awo waagia ku Yesu wamulaga watino, “Omugerezi, tumanyire mbwe iwue owoola amangʼana agari kuwuene, kandi mbwe ogerera engira eya Katonda mu engira eri kuwuene. Iwue ekia omuntu ari ngakikunyaasia, aeniki ngotiire amiiso aga omuntu.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Tulage ekia iwue owona ku ingʼana rino: Mberi endagirra iifu etuganyiire okufumizia Omwami *Kaisaari omusolo, nakuwa yaaya?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Ni Yesu owawanga na amanyire engira embiiwi eya waawanga nayo, yawalaga otino, “Inywe awantu awaisemerezia wano, ekigera ni muntegera omutego mumpambe niki?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Mundageko isendi erikolwa nario okufumia *omusolo.” Waamureetra edinaari atoola
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 nikwo awawuuzia otino, “Kino ne ekiiruuzia ekia anu? Kandi rino ne eriina eria anu?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Waairania mbwe, “Kaisaari!”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Olwa waawurra otio, waaluguula ino. Kutio waamureka wagia.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Owuire owuazane owuo, *Awasadukaayo awaalowanga mbwe okuziuka okwa awafu kuwulao, waaza ku Yesu wamuwuuzia

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Waawangao awazia musamvu awa omuntu omulala. Omukulu yakwa nikuemao afwa, kandi aeniki ngakarekao awaana, yarekera wamwawu omukazi agereme.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Ekintu ekilala ekio kiaikorra omuzia owa okuwiri no owa okusatu nawuno kutuuka ku omuzia omutono otuukre.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Owutuukre, omukazi oyo yoona yafwa.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Katio tulageeko, olwa awantu wariziuka, omukazi oyo ariwa omukazi owa anu ku awazia musamvu awaawa nae awo?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yesu yawairania na awoola otino, “Muteekere aeniki ngamumanyire endagano, lwona ngamumanyire amaani aga Katonda ari nago.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Na awantu wariziuka, ngawarikwa kandi ngawarikwewua. Ni wariwa ki *enyankoi awa ku igulu.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Ni ku okuziuka okwa awafu, inywe mukiari okusoma ekia Katonda yawalaga mbwe,
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘Inze ni inze Katonda owa Abraamu, Katonda owa Isaaka, kandi Katonda owa Yakoobo’? Ngari Katonda owa awafu, yaaya, na ari Katonda owa awalamu.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Olwa omurima ogwa awantu gwawurra amangʼana ago, gwaluguula engerera yaae ino.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Olwa Awafarisaayo waawurra mbwe Yesu akirre Awasadukaayo mu amangʼana, waaikumia alala.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Nikuemao omulala ku iwo, owawanga na amanyire *ensikirra ino, yagia amugeezaania no okuwuuzia kuno:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “Omugerezi, ensikirra enene ekirre ziona, ne eriai?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yesu yamuirania mbwe, “ ‘Gonzia *Omwami Katonda waao no omwoyo gwao gwona, ne enkolo yaao yoona kandi na amaingirizio gaao goona.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Eno nie ensikirra esookere kandi eri enene okukira ziona.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Ne eya okuwiri efwana nayo: ‘Gonzia omwina waao kiomo oigonziizie iwue omwene.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Amangʼana aga Muusa yajoja goona, alala na amangʼana aga *Awagambi awa Katonda goona, gaisimbiriire ku ensikirra iwiri zino.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Na Awafarisaayo waawanga ni waikumiizie alala, Yesu yawawuuzia otino,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Inywe muingiriziaki ku *Kristo? Ari omuzia owa anu?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Yesu yawalaga otino, “Kuwa kutie mbwe Daudi, na agamba-gamba na aizuziiwue no *Omwoyo Omweru, amueta ‘Omwami’? Aeniki omwene awoola mbwe,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “ ‘Omwami Katonda yalaga Omwami wange otino,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Katio ni kuri mbwe Daudi amueta ‘Omwami,’ Kristo akawa omuzia waae otie?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Awulao omuntu owaesanga okumuirania ingʼana namba ilala, kandi okuemera nyanga olwo awulao omuntu owamuigemako mbwe amuwuuzia ekintu.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
