1 Therefore you have nothing to say in your own defense, whoever you are who set yourself up as a judge. In judging others you condemn yourself, for you who set yourself up as a judge do the very same things.
1 Isan imih kwa isa men ef ta ema’am boro imaim kwanabat sabuw afa hai kakafih kwanasebmatar ubar kwanitih, anayabin nati kakafin ta’imon kwa auman kwasisinaf.
2 And we know that God’s judgment falls unerringly on those who do them.
2 Baise God turobe tafanamaim bat sabuw iyab kakafih tisisinaf isan baibatiyen ebitih i taso’ob.
3 You who judge those that do such things and yet are yourself guilty of them — do you suppose that you of all people will escape God’s judgment?
3 Imih o orot maiyow, sawar kakafin o kusisinaf na’atube sabuw tisisinaf isan o kubibatiyih o kunotanot God ana baibatiyen boro inahaiw?
4 Or do you think lightly of his abundant kindness, patience, and forbearance, not realizing that his kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?
4 Ai o God ana baiwanbabanen, ana yawanan, ana yatenub i ku’i’itin furuw. Naatu o iwanbabani dogor baikitabirin isan enanawiyi kwa’i’itin ai en?
5 Hard-hearted and impenitent as you are, you are storing up for yourself wrath on the ‘day of wrath,’ when God’s justice as a judge will be revealed;

6 for ‘he will give to everyone what their actions deserve.’

7 To those who, by perseverance in doing good, aim at glory, honor, and all that is imperishable, he will give immortal life;

8 while as to those who are factious, and disobedient to truth but obedient to evil, wrath and anger, distress and despair,
8 Baise sabuw iyab i taiyuwih hai yawas tinunuwih, naatu turobe hikwahir kakafih tibi’ufunun, God ana gagamat naatu ana yaso’ar boro tafah yan nisuwai nare.
9 will fall on every human being who persists in wrong-doing — on the Jew first, but also on the Greek.
9 Sabuw iyab bowabow kakafih tisisinaf i boro bai’akir naatu biyababan gagamin maiyow hinab. Jew sabuw biyahimaim boro nabusuruf nan Ufun Sabuw biyahimaim nisawar.
10 But there will be glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does right — for the Jew first, but also for the Greek,
10 Baise sabuw iyab bowabow gewasih tisisinaf, God boro fair, baifa’en, borara’aten naatu tufuw nitih, Jew sabuw biyahimaim boro nabusuruf nan Ufun Sabuw biyahimaim nisawar.
11 since God shows no partiality.
11 Anayabin God i ana fofoninamaim sabuw bai’ubaren ebitih, men ta aukoun ebatabatamih.
12 All who, when they sin, are without law will also perish without law; while all who, when they sin, are under law, will be judged as being under law.
12 Sabuw iyab ofafar ufunane hima kakafin hisisinaf auman boro baimakiy hinab. Naatu sabuw iyab ofafar babanamaim hima kakafin hisisinaf boro ofafar nibatiyih.
13 It is not those who hear the words of a law that are righteous before God, but it is those who obey it that will be pronounced righteous.
13 Anayabin sabuw i boro men ofafar tenonowaramaim nayamutufurih God matanamaim hinatitamih, en baise ofafar hinowar tibi’ufunun boro nayamutufurih.
14 When Gentiles, who have no law, do instinctively what the law requires, they, though they have no law, are a law to themselves;
14 Eteni Sabuw aurih ofafar i en, baise abisa i hai yawasamaim eo na’atube tisisinaf i hai ofafar turaban nati, basit i aurih ofafar anababatun i en.
15 for they show the demands of the law written on their hearts; their consciences corroborating it, while in their thoughts they argue either in self-accusation or, it may be, in self-defense —
15 Anayabin kakafin gewasin kousibin ana not i ofafar na’atube dogoromaim ema’am boro a tur na’owen, a kakafin isan boro ubar nit nakusairi, naatu a gewasin isan boro natafafari.
16 on the day when God passes judgment on people’s inmost lives, as the good news that I tell declares that he will do through Christ Jesus.

17 But, perhaps, you bear the name of ‘Jew,’ and are relying on law, and boast of belonging to God, and understand his will,

18 and, having been carefully instructed from the law, have learned to appreciate the finer moral distinctions.

19 Perhaps you are confident that you are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in the dark, an instructor of the unintelligent,

20 and a teacher of the childish, because in the law you possess the outline of all knowledge and truth.

21 Why, then, you teacher of others, do not you teach yourself? Do you preach against stealing, and yet steal?
21 Sabuw kwabi’obaibiyih, baise kwa taiyuwiban kwabi’obaiyi ai en? A binanumaim kwao, “Men kwanabain” Baise o kubabain ai en?
22 Do you forbid adultery, and yet commit adultery? Do you loathe idols, and yet plunder temples?
22 Sabuw turahinah aawah ufun na isan i kuo’otanih, baise o turanah aawah ufuh kwenan ai en? Umataratar baifa’ifa’ih irouw kuo, baise hai kwafiren bar wanawanan o kubabain ai en?
23 Boasting, as you do, of your law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
23 God ana ofafar isan i kuo’ora’ara’at, baise ofafar i’astu’ub God biya’ohow kubitiniban kui’itin ai en?
24 For, as scripture says — ‘The Gentiles insult God's name because of you’!
24 Buk Atamaninamaim iti na’atube hikirum, “Eteni Sabuw God wabin tibigigim anayabin kwa Jew sabuw asinafumaim.”
25 Circumcision has its value, if you are obeying the law. But, if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision is no better than uncircumcision.
25 O ofafar inabobosiyasiyar na’at, a’ar hi’a’afuw i boro nan ana’an gagamin namatar, baise ofafar ina’a’astu’ub, o a’ar kanabin hi’a’afuw ana’itin i afuwina’e.
26 If, then, an uncircumcised man pays regard to the requirements of the law, will not he, although not circumcised, be regarded by God as if he were?
26 Sabuw iyab hai ar kanabih men hi’afuw, baise ofafar eo biyunih na’atube tebobosiyasiyar, nati sabuw i sabuw iyab hai ar kanabih hi’a’afuw hinasairih.
27 Indeed, the person who, owing to his birth, remains uncircumcised, and yet scrupulously obeys the law, will condemn you, who, for all your written law and your circumcision, are yet a breaker of the law.
27 Orot yait biyanane ana ar kanabin men hi’afuw, baise ofafar i ebobosiyasiyar, o boro nasiksairi, anayabin o i ofafar iso’ob naatu a’ar kanabin hi’afuw, baise ofafar men kubobosiyasiyar.
28 For a man who is only a Jew outwardly is not a real Jew; nor is outward bodily circumcision real circumcision. The real Jew is the person who is a Jew in soul;
28 O yait Jew orot kumamatar i men biya ufunane hi’a’afuw imaim o ina Jew orot kumamataramih.
29 and the real circumcision is the circumcision of the heart, a spiritual and not a literal thing. Such a person wins praise from God, though not from people.
29 En baise, Jew orot anababatun i dogor wanawanan. Naatu afu’afuw anababatun i dogor wanawananamaim Anun Kakafiyin esisinaf, men biya. Naatu bora’ara’aten etei i Godane nan inab men orot biyahine.
