1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And sons were born to them after the flood.
1 São estas as gerações dos filhos de Noé, Sem, Cam e Jafé; e nasceram-lhes filhos depois do dilúvio.
2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras.
2 Os filhos de Jafé são: Gomer, Magogue, Madai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque e Tiras.
3 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah.
3 Os filhos de Gomer são: Asquenaz, Rifate e Togarma.
4 And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish and Kittim and Dodanim.
4 Os de Javã são: Elisá, Társis, Quitim e Dodanim.
5 By these were the coasts of the nations divided in their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
5 Estes repartiram entre si as ilhas das nações nas suas terras, cada qual segundo a sua língua, segundo as suas famílias, em suas nações.
6 And the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Phut and Canaan.
6 Os filhos de Cam: Cuxe, Mizraim, Pute e Canaã.
7 And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
7 Os filhos de Cuxe: Sebá, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá e Sabtecá; e os filhos de Raamá: Sabá e Dedã.
8 And Cush fathered Nimrod. He began to be a mighty one in the earth.
8 Cuxe gerou a Ninrode, o qual começou a ser poderoso na terra.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD. Therefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
9 Foi valente caçador diante do Senhor ; daí dizer-se: Como Ninrode, poderoso caçador diante do Senhor .
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
10 O princípio do seu reino foi Babel, Ereque, Acade e Calné, na terra de Sinar.
11 Out of that land he went forth to Assyria. And he built Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,
11 Daquela terra saiu ele para a Assíria e edificou Nínive, Reobote-Ir e Calá.
12 and Resen between Nineveh and Calah, which is a great city.
12 E, entre Nínive e Calá, a grande cidade de Resém.
13 And Mizraim fathered Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim and Naphtuhim,

14 and Pathrusim and Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines) and Caphtorim.
14 a Patrusim, a Casluim (donde saíram os filisteus) e a Caftorim.
15 And Canaan fathered Sidon, his first-born, and Heth,
15 Canaã gerou a Sidom, seu primogênito, e a Hete,
16 and the Jebusite and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
16 e aos jebuseus, aos amorreus, aos girgaseus,
17 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
17 aos heveus, aos arqueus, aos sineus,
18 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. And afterward the families of the Canaanites were spread abroad.

19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon (as you come to Gerar) to Gaza, as you go in towards Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboim, even to Lasha.
19 E o limite dos cananeus foi desde Sidom, indo para Gerar, até Gaza, indo para Sodoma, Gomorra, Admá e Zeboim, até Lasa.
20 These were the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
20 São estes os filhos de Cam, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações.
21 And to Shem were born, even him, the father of all the sons of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder.
21 A Sem, que foi pai de todos os filhos de Héber e irmão mais velho de Jafé, também lhe nasceram filhos.
22 The sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram.
22 Os filhos de Sem são: Elão, Assur, Arfaxade, Lude e Arã.
23 And the sons of Aram: Uz and Hul and Gether and Mash,
23 Os filhos de Arã: Uz, Hul, Geter e Más.
24 And Arpachshad fathered Salah; and Salah fathered Eber.
24 Arfaxade gerou a Salá; Salá gerou a Héber.
25 And two sons were born to Eber. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided. And his brother's name was Joktan.
25 A Héber nasceram dois filhos: um teve por nome Pelegue, porquanto em seus dias se repartiu a terra; e o nome de seu irmão foi Joctã.
26 And Joktan fathered Almodad and Sheleph and Hazarmaveth and Jerah,
26 Joctã gerou a Almodá, a Selefe, a Hazar-Mavé, a Jerá,
27 and Hadoram and Uzal and Diklah,
27 a Hadorão, a Uzal, a Dicla,
28 and Obal and Abimael and Sheba,
28 a Obal, a Abimael, a Sabá,
29 and Ophir and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
29 a Ofir, a Havilá e a Jobabe; todos estes foram filhos de Joctã.
30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as you go to Sephar, a mountain of the east.
30 E habitaram desde Messa, indo para Sefar, montanha do Oriente.
31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, and after their nations.
31 São estes os filhos de Sem, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações.
32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations. And from these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
32 São estas as famílias dos filhos de Noé, segundo as suas gerações, nas suas nações; e destes foram disseminadas as nações na terra, depois do dilúvio.
