1 Yahweh is king; let the peoples tremble. He sits enthroned between the cherubim. Let the earth shake.
1 O Senhor reina; tremam as nações. Ele está entronizado entre os querubins; comova-se a terra.
2 Yahweh is great in Zion, and he is exalted over all the peoples.
2 O Senhor é grande em Sião e mais elevado que todas as nações.
3 Let them praise your great and fearful name. He is holy.
3 Louvem o teu nome, grande e tremendo, pois é santo.
4 And the strength of the king loves justice. You have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.
4 E a força do Rei ama o juízo; tu firmas a equidade, fazes juízo e justiça em Jacó.
5 Exalt Yahweh our God, and worship at his footstool. He is holy.
5 Exaltai ao Senhor , nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos diante do escabelo de seus pés, porque ele é santo.
6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also was among those who called on his name. They called to Yahweh, and he answered them.
6 Moisés e Arão, entre os seus sacerdotes, e Samuel, entre os que invocam o seu nome, clamavam ao Senhor , e ele os ouvia.
7 He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies and the statute he gave to them.
7 Na coluna de nuvem lhes falava; eles guardavam os seus testemunhos e os estatutos que lhes dera.
8 O Yahweh our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but an avenger of their wrong deeds.
8 Tu os escutaste, Senhor , nosso Deus; tu foste um Deus que lhes perdoaste, posto que vingador dos seus feitos.
9 Exalt Yahweh our God, and worship at his holy mountain, for Yahweh our God is holy.
9 Exaltai ao Senhor , nosso Deus, e adorai-o no seu santo monte, porque o Senhor , nosso Deus, é santo.
