¹ Come, let us sing for joy to Yahweh; let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.

¹ Vinde, cantemos ao Senhor , com júbilo, celebremos o Rochedo da nossa salvação.

² Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; with songs let us shout joyfully to him.

² Saiamos ao seu encontro, com ações de graças, vitoriemo-lo com salmos.

³ For Yahweh is the great God, and the great king over all gods,

³ Porque o Senhor é o Deus supremo e o grande Rei acima de todos os deuses.

⁴ in whose hand are the unexplored places of the earth, and the heights of the mountains are his,

⁴ Nas suas mãos estão as profundezas da terra, e as alturas dos montes lhe pertencem.

⁵ to whom belongs the sea that he made, and the dry land that his hands formed.

⁵ Dele é o mar, pois ele o fez; obra de suas mãos, os continentes.

⁶ Come in, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before Yahweh, our maker.

⁶ Vinde, adoremos e prostremo-nos; ajoelhemos diante do

⁸ “Do not harden your heart as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

⁹ when your ancestors tried me. They put me to the test, even though they had seen my work.

⁹ quando vossos pais me tentaram, pondo-me à prova, não obstante terem visto as minhas obras.

¹⁰ For forty years I loathed that generation, and said, ‘They are a people whose heart wanders. And my ways they do not know.’

¹⁰ Durante quarenta anos, estive desgostado com essa geração e disse: é povo de coração transviado, não conhece os meus caminhos.

¹¹ Therefore I swore in my anger, ‘They shall surely not enter into my rest.’ ”

¹¹ Por isso, jurei na minha ira: não entrarão no meu descanso.
