1 Of the sons of Korah. A psalm. How lovely are your dwelling places, O Yahweh of hosts!
1 Ao Músico-chefe sobre Gitite, Salmo para os filhos de Corá. Quão amáveis são os teus tabernáculos, ó SENHOR dos Exércitos!
2 My soul longs and even fails for the courtyards of Yahweh. My heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.
2 Minha alma deseja, sim, até desmaia pelos átrios do SENHOR; meu coração e a minha carne clamam pelo Deus vivo.
3 Even a bird finds a home, and a swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, near your altars, O Yahweh of hosts, my king and my God.
3 Sim, o pardal encontrou casa, e a andorinha um ninho para si, onde ela pode pôr os seus filhotes, junto aos teus altares, ó SENHOR dos Exércitos, meu Rei, e meu Deus.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they can ever praise you. Selah
4 Abençoados são aqueles que habitam na tua casa, eles ainda estarão te louvando. Selá.
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in you; in their heart are the highways to Zion.
5 Abençoado é o homem cuja força está em ti; em cujo coração estão os seus caminhos.
6 Passing through the Valley of Baca, they make it a spring. The early rain covers it with blessings as well.
6 O qual passando pelo vale de Baca, faz dele um poço; a chuva também enche os tanques.
7 They go from strength to strength, until each appears before God in Zion.
7 Eles vão de força em força, cada um deles em Sião aparece diante de Deus.
8 O Yahweh, God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah
8 Ó SENHOR, Deus dos Exércitos, ouve a minha oração; dá ouvidos, ó Deus de Jacó. Selá.
9 Look at our shield, O God, and have regard for the face of your anointed one.
9 Contempla, ó Deus, nosso escudo, e olha para a face do teu ungido.
10 Because better is a day in your courtyards than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be at the threshold of the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
10 Pois um dia em teus átrios é melhor do que mil. Eu preferiria ser um porteiro na casa do meu Deus, do que habitar nas tendas da perversidade.
11 Because Yahweh God is a sun and a shield; Yahweh gives grace and honor. He does not withhold good from those who walk blamelessly.
11 Pois o SENHOR Deus é um sol e escudo; o SENHOR dará graça e glória. Nenhuma coisa boa ele reterá daqueles que andam retamente.
12 O Yahweh of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts you.
12 Ó SENHOR dos Exércitos, abençoado é o homem que confia em ti.
