2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,

3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 A yee koyne ka tam fooyaŋ sanba ka nee: ‹Wa nee hoyandikey se: “Nga ne, ay ŋaahayaa soolu. Ay yaarey nda agʼalman naasey koosandi. Hayey kul soolu. Wa kaa hiijaa ra.”›
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Amma i mana hoyandoo daŋ assal, affoo kul koy nga fondaa ra. Affooyaŋ koy ngi faarey ra, affooyaŋ ngi maamalaa ra.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Wey kaŋ cindi na tamey dii kʼi zarabi kʼi wii.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;

9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Tamey din fatta ka koy fondawey bande ka borey kul marga kaŋ i duu ey, ilaala nda ihenna. Hiijaa hugoo too.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Kokoyoo huru ka dii hoyandikey, a dii affoo kaŋ ga hiijaa hoyandoo darbaa sii.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 A nee a se: ‹Ay ceroo, taka foo nda ni huru ne ra hiijaa hoyandoo darbaa sii ni jindoo ra?› Boraa dangay suk.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Kokoyoo nee tamey se: ‹Wa cewey nda kabey haw, war mʼa warra taray, taray kubaa ra. No din ra hẽeni nda hiɲekaamayan ga tee.›
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Zama boro boobo goo no kaŋ ciyandi, amma Irkoy boro suubantey ga kacca.»
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Woo banda ga, Fariziyeŋey koy cere guna ka dii taka kaŋ nda ngi na Isa dii nda nga meešennoo.

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?

21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.

27 And last of all the woman also died.

28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?

29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‹Agay ti Ibirahima Koyoo, Isiyaka Koyoo, Yakuba Koyoo?› Irkoy manʼti bukawey Koyoo, baahunantey Koyoo no.»
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

36 «Alfagaa, ašariyaa yaamarey kul ibeeroo ti affoo?»
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Isa nee a se: «‹Ma baa ni Koyoo Irkoy nda ni binoo kul, nda ni hundoo kul, nda ni lakkaloo kul.›
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Woo ti yaamarey kul ibeeroo, nga ti yaamar jinaa.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Ihinkantoo ne kaŋ ga hima nda ijinaa: ‹Ma baa ni cinaa sanda takaa kaŋ nda nʼga baa ni boŋ.›
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Yaamar hinkaa woo ga, ašariyaa kul nda annabey ga deeja.»
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 ka nee: «Macin no war gʼa hongu Almasihu ga? May ize no?» I nee a se: «Dawda Haamaa no.»
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 A nee i se: «Adiši taka foo nda Dawda Irkoy Hundoo hinoo ra gʼa cee nda Koy ka nee:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‹Ir Koyoo nee ay Koyoo se:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Adiši nda Dawda gʼa cee nda Koy, taka foo nda a ga tee a se Haama?»
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
