1 In thee, O Yahweh, have I sought refuge, May I not be ashamed unto times age-abiding:
1 Em ti, S enhor , me refugio; não permitas que eu seja envergonhado.
2 In thy righteousness, wilt thou rescue me, and deliver me, Incline unto me thine ear, and save me:
2 Salva-me e resgata-me, pois tu és justo. Inclina teu ouvido para me escutar e livra-me.
3 Be thou unto me, a Rock to dwell in, a Place of Security, To save me, For, my mountain crag and my stronghold, thou art.
3 Sê minha rocha de refúgio, onde sempre posso me esconder. Dá ordem para que eu seja liberto, pois és minha rocha e minha fortaleza.
4 Oh my God, deliver me, From the hand of the lawless one, From the clutch of the perverse and ruthless one;
4 Livra-me, meu Deus, do poder dos perversos, das garras dos opressores cruéis.
5 For, thou, art my hope, My Lord, Yahweh, My confidence from my youthful days:
5 Só tu, Senhor, és minha esperança; confio em ti, S
6 Upon thee, have I stayed myself from birth, Thou art he that severed me, from the body of my mother, Of thee, shall be my praisecontinually.
6 Sim, de ti dependo desde meu nascimento; cuidas de mim desde o ventre de minha mãe. Sempre te louvarei!
7 A very wonder, have I been unto many, Seeing that, thou, hast been my strong refuge,
7 Minha vida é exemplo para muitos, pois tens sido minha força e meu refúgio.
8 My mouth shall be filled with, thy praise, All the day, with thy splendour.
8 Por isso, não deixo de te louvar; o dia todo declaro tua glória.
9 Do not cast me off in the time of old age, When my vigour faileth, do not forsake me;
9 Não me rejeites agora, em minha velhice; não me abandones quando me faltam as forças.
10 For mine enemies have spoken of me, And, they who watch for my life, have taken counsel together;
10 Pois meus inimigos falam contra mim; juntos, planejam me matar.
11 Saying, God, hath forsaken him, Pursue and take him, For there is none to rescue.
11 Dizem: “Deus o abandonou! Vamos persegui-lo e prendê-lo, pois agora ninguém o livrará”.
12 O God, be not far from me, O my God, to help me, make haste!
12 Ó Deus, não permaneças distante; vem depressa me socorrer, meu Deus.
13 Let them be ashamedbe consumed, Who are assailing my life,Let them be covered with reproach and confusion, Who are seeking my hurt.
13 Traz vergonha e destruição sobre meus acusadores, cobre de vergonha e humilhação os que desejam me prejudicar.
14 But, I, continually will hope, And will add to all thy praise;
14 Eu, porém, continuarei a esperar em ti e te louvarei cada vez mais.
15 My month, shall relate thy righteousness, All the day, thy deliverance, For I know not the numbers.
15 Falarei a todos de tua justiça; o dia todo, anunciarei tua salvação, embora não seja habilidoso com as palavras.
16 I will enter into the mighty doings of My LordYahweh, I will make mention of thy righteousnessthine alone.
16 Louvarei teus feitos poderosos, S enhor Soberano; contarei a todos que somente tu és justo.
17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youthful days, And, hitherto, have I been wont to tell of thy wonders;
17 Ó Deus, desde a infância me tens ensinado, e até hoje anuncio tuas maravilhas.
18 Even now, therefore, that I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me,Until I tell of thine arm unto a generation, Unto every one that is to come, thy might;
18 Não me abandones, ó Deus, agora que estou velho, de cabelos brancos. Deixe-me proclamar tua força a esta nova geração, teu poder a todos que vierem depois de mim.
19 And, as for thy righteousness, O God, up on high, Wherein thou hast wrought great things, O God! who is like unto thee?
19 Tua justiça, ó Deus, chega até os mais altos céus; tens feito coisas grandiosas. Quem se compara a ti, ó Deus?
20 Thou who hast let us see many distresses and misfortunes, Wilt gain bring us to life, And, out of the resounding depths of the earth, wilt again raise us up;
20 Permitiste que eu passasse por muito sofrimento, mas ainda restaurarás minha vida e me farás subir das profundezas da terra.
21 Thou wilt increase my greatness, And, on every side, wilt comfort me.
21 Tu me darás ainda mais honra e voltarás a me confortar.
22 I also, will praise thee by the aid of a harp, Thy faithfulness, O my God,I will make music unto thee with a lyre, Thou holy one of Israel;
22 Então te louvarei com instrumento de cordas, pois és fiel às tuas promessas, ó meu Deus. Cantarei louvores a ti com a harpa, ó Santo de Israel.
23 My lips shall make a joyful noise, When I make music unto thee, And my soul which thou hast ransomed;
23 Darei gritos de alegria e cantarei louvores a ti, pois tu me resgataste.
24 Even my tongue, all the day, shall softly utter thy righteousness, For they have turned palefor they have blushed, Who were seeking my hurt.
24 Anunciarei, o dia todo, teus feitos de justiça, pois foram envergonhados e humilhados todos que tentaram me prejudicar.
