Rotherham Version (ROTH) vs ARA
1 O Yahweh, do not, in thine anger, correct me, nor, in thy wrath, chastise me;
1 Não me repreendas, Senhor , na tua ira, nem me castigues no teu furor.
2 For, thine arrows, have sunk down into me, and thy hand, presseth heavily upon me.
2 Cravam-se em mim as tuas setas, e a tua mão recai sobre mim.
3 There is no soundness in my flesh, By reason of thine indignation, There is no peace in my bones, By reason of my sin;
3 Não há parte sã na minha carne, por causa da tua indignação; não há saúde nos meus ossos, por causa do meu pecado.
4 For, mine iniquities, have passed over my head, Like a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me:
4 Pois já se elevam acima de minha cabeça as minhas iniquidades; como fardos pesados, excedem as minhas forças.
5 My wounds are of bad odourthey have festered, by reason of my folly:
5 Tornam-se infectas e purulentas as minhas chagas, por causa da minha loucura.
6 I am bent, I am bowed down very low. All the day, have I gloomily walked;
6 Sinto-me encurvado e sobremodo abatido, ando de luto o dia todo.
7 For, my loins, are filled with inflammation, and there is no soundness in my flesh:
7 Ardem-me os lombos, e não há parte sã na minha carne.
8 I am benumbed and crushed exceedingly,I have cried aloud because of the groaning of my heart.
8 Estou aflito e mui quebrantado; dou gemidos por efeito do desassossego do meu coração.
9 O My Lord! before thee, is all my longing, and, my sighing, from thee, hath not been hid:
9 Na tua presença, Senhor, estão os meus desejos todos, e a minha ansiedade não te é oculta.
10 My heart, fluttereth, my strength hath forsaken me, and, as for the light of mine eyes, even they, are not with me:
10 Bate-me excitado o coração, faltam-me as forças, e a luz dos meus olhos, essa mesma já não está comigo.
11 My lovers, and my friends, from before my stroke, stand aloof,and, my near ones, far away, do stand:
11 Os meus amigos e companheiros afastam-se da minha praga, e os meus parentes ficam de longe.
12 Yea they who are seeking my life, have laid snares, and they who are asking my harm, have threatened engulfing ruin, And, deceitful thingsall day long, do they mutter.
12 Armam ciladas contra mim os que tramam tirar-me a vida; os que me procuram fazer o mal dizem coisas perniciosas e imaginam engano todo o dia.
13 But, I, as one deaf, will not hear,and as one dumb, who will not open his mouth:
13 Mas eu, como surdo, não ouço e, qual mudo, não abro a boca.
14 Thus have I become as a man who cannot hear, in whose mouth are no arguments:
14 Sou, com efeito, como quem não ouve e em cujos lábios não há réplica.
15 Because, for thee, O Yahweh, have I waited, Thou, wilt answer, O Adonay, my God!
15 Pois em ti, Senhor , espero; tu me atenderás, Senhor, Deus meu.
16 For I said, Lest they rejoice over me! When my feet were tottering, against me, have they magnified themselves:
16 Porque eu dizia: Não suceda que se alegrem de mim e contra mim se engrandeçam quando me resvala o pé.
17 For, I, to halt, am ready, and, my pain, is before me continually;
17 Pois estou prestes a tropeçar; a minha dor está sempre perante mim.
18 For, mine iniquity, will I declare, I shall be anxious because of my sin;
18 Confesso a minha iniquidade; suporto tristeza por causa do meu pecado.
19 And, my foes, are alivehave become strong,and multiplied are they who hate me for false cause:
19 Mas os meus inimigos são vigorosos e fortes, e são muitos os que sem causa me odeiam.
20 Even they who are repaying evil for good, accuse me because I pursue the good.
20 Da mesma sorte, os que pagam o mal pelo bem são meus adversários, porque eu sigo o que é bom.
21 Do not forsake me, O Yahweh, My God! be not far from me:
21 Não me desampares, Senhor ; Deus meu, não te ausentes de mim.
22 Make haste to help me, My Lord, my deliverance!
22 Apressa-te em socorrer-me, Senhor, salvação minha.
