1 O Yahweh, hear my prayer, Give ear to my supplications, In thy faithfulness, answer me, in thy righteousness.
1 Salmo de Davi. Ouve a minha oração, ó SENHOR, dá ouvidos às minhas súplicas; responde-me em tua fidelidade, e na tua justiça.
2 Do not then enter into judgment with thy servant, for no one living, can appear just before thee.
2 E não entres em juízo com o teu servo, pois à tua vista nenhum homem vivo se justificará.
3 For an enemy hath pursued my soul, hath crushed, to the earth, my life, hath made me dwell in dark places, like the ancient dead.
3 Pois o inimigo perseguiu a minha alma; castigou a minha alma até ao chão; fez-me habitar nas trevas, como aqueles que há muito morreram.
4 Therefore hath my spirit, fainted concerning myself, Within me, hath, my heart, been confounded.
4 Portanto, meu espírito está sobrecarregado dentro de mim; meu coração dentro de mim está desolado.
5 I have remembered the days of aforetime, I have talked with myself of every deed of thine, Of the work of thy hands, I would speak:
5 Lembro-me dos velhos dias; medito em todas as tuas obras; eu medito sobre a obra das tuas mãos.
6 I have spread out my hands unto thee, My soul, is as a thirsty land, for thee. Selah.
6 Estendo as minhas mãos para ti; minha alma tem sede de ti, como terra sedenta. Selá.
7 Speedily answer me, O Yahweh, My spirit faileth,Do not hide thy face from me, or I shall be made like unto them who go down into the pit.
7 Ouve-me depressa, ó SENHOR; o meu espírito desfalece. Não escondas a tua face de mim, para que eu não seja como aqueles que descem à cova.
8 Let me hear, in the morning, thy lovingkindness, for, in thee, have, I trusted,Let me know the way in which I should walk, for, unto thee, have I uplifted my soul.
8 Faze-me ouvir a tua benignidade pela manhã, pois em ti confio; faze-me conhecer o caminho pelo qual devo caminhar, pois elevo a minha alma a ti.
9 Rescue me from my foes, O Yahweh, Unto thee, have I come seeking refuge.
9 Livra-me, ó SENHOR, dos meus inimigos; fujo para ti, para me esconder.
10 Teach me to do thy good pleasure, for, thou, art my God,Thy spirit, is good, thou wilt set me down to rest in a level land.
10 Ensina-me a fazer a tua vontade, pois tu és o meu Deus. O teu Espírito é bom; guie-me para a terra da retidão.
11 For the sake of thy Name, O Yahweh, wilt thou give unto me life, In thy righteousness, wilt thou bring forth, out of distress, my soul;
11 Vivifica-me, ó SENHOR, por causa do teu nome; por causa da tua justiça, traz a minha alma para fora da tribulação.
12 And, in thy lovingkindness, wilt thou exterminate my foes,and destroy all the adversaries of my soul, because, I, am thy servant.
12 E por tua misericórdia corta fora os meus inimigos, e destrói todos aqueles que afligem a minha alma; pois sou teu servo.
