1 O Yahweh, hear my prayer, Give ear to my supplications, In thy faithfulness, answer me, in thy righteousness.
1 Ó Senhor, ouve a minha oração, dá ouvidos às minhas súplicas! Atende-me na tua fidelidade, e na tua retidão;
2 Do not then enter into judgment with thy servant, for no one living, can appear just before thee.
2 e não entres em juízo com o teu servo, porque à tua vista não se achará justo nenhum vivente.
3 For an enemy hath pursued my soul, hath crushed, to the earth, my life, hath made me dwell in dark places, like the ancient dead.
3 Pois o inimigo me perseguiu; abateu-me até o chão; fez-me habitar em lugares escuros, como aqueles que morreram há muito.
4 Therefore hath my spirit, fainted concerning myself, Within me, hath, my heart, been confounded.
4 Pelo que dentro de mim esmorece o meu espírito, e em mim está desolado o meu coração.
5 I have remembered the days of aforetime, I have talked with myself of every deed of thine, Of the work of thy hands, I would speak:
5 Lembro-me dos dias antigos; considero todos os teus feitos; medito na obra das tuas mãos.
6 I have spread out my hands unto thee, My soul, is as a thirsty land, for thee. Selah.
6 A ti estendo as minhas mãos; a minha alma, qual terra sedenta, tem sede de ti.
7 Speedily answer me, O Yahweh, My spirit faileth,Do not hide thy face from me, or I shall be made like unto them who go down into the pit.
7 Atende-me depressa, ó Senhor; o meu espírito desfalece; não escondas de mim o teu rosto, para que não me torne semelhante aos que descem à cova.
8 Let me hear, in the morning, thy lovingkindness, for, in thee, have, I trusted,Let me know the way in which I should walk, for, unto thee, have I uplifted my soul.
8 Faze-me ouvir da tua benignidade pela manhã, pois em ti confio; faze-me saber o caminho que devo seguir, porque a ti elevo a minha alma.
9 Rescue me from my foes, O Yahweh, Unto thee, have I come seeking refuge.
9 Livra-me, ó Senhor, dos meus inimigos; porque em ti é que eu me refugio.
10 Teach me to do thy good pleasure, for, thou, art my God,Thy spirit, is good, thou wilt set me down to rest in a level land.
10 Ensina-me a fazer a tua vontade, pois tu és o meu Deus; guie-me o teu bom Espírito por terreno plano.
11 For the sake of thy Name, O Yahweh, wilt thou give unto me life, In thy righteousness, wilt thou bring forth, out of distress, my soul;
11 Vivifica-me, ó Senhor, por amor do teu nome; por amor da tua justiça, tira-me da tribulação.
12 And, in thy lovingkindness, wilt thou exterminate my foes,and destroy all the adversaries of my soul, because, I, am thy servant.
12 E por tua benignidade extermina os meus inimigos, e destrói todos os meus adversários, pois eu sou servo.
