1 I love Yahwehbecause he heareth my voice, my supplications;
1 Eu amo a Deus, o Senhor , porque ele me ouve; ele escuta as minhas orações.
2 Because he hath bowed down his ear unto me, therefore, throughout my days, will I call.
2 Ele me ouve sempre que eu clamo pedindo socorro.
3 The meshes of death encompassed me, and the distresses of hades, came upon me, Peril and sorrow, I found;
3 Os laços da morte estavam me apertando, os horrores da sepultura tomaram conta de mim, e eu fiquei aflito e apavorado.
4 But, on the Name of Yahweh, I calledI beseech thee, Yahweh, deliver my soul.
4 Então clamei ao Senhor , pedindo: “Ó Salva-me da morte!”
5 Gracious is Yahweh and righteous, and, our God, is full of compassion.
5 O Senhor é bondoso e fiel; o nosso Deus tem compaixão de nós.
6 Yahweh, preserveth the simple, I was brought low, when, to me, he granted salvation.
6 O Senhor protege os que não podem se defender. Quando eu estava em perigo, ele me salvou.
7 Return, O my soul, to thy rest, For, Yahweh, hath dealt bountifully with thee.
7 Meu ser inteiro, continue confiando em Deus, o pois ele tem sido bom para mim!
8 For thou hast rescued my soul from death,mine eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
8 Deus me livrou da morte, fez parar as minhas lágrimas e não deixou que eu caísse na desgraça.
9 I will walk to and fro before Yahweh, in the lands of life.
9 Por isso, no mundo dos que estão vivos, viverei uma vida de obediência a ele.
10 I believed that I should speak, I, was greatly depressed.
10 Eu continuei crendo, mesmo quando disse: “estou completamente esmagado.”
11 I, said in mine alarm, All men, are false!
11 Não parei de crer, mesmo quando afirmei, sem pensar: “não se pode confiar em ninguém.”
12 How shall I give back to Yahweh, All his benefits unto me?
12 Que posso eu oferecer a Deus, o Senhor , por tudo de bom que ele me tem dado?
13 The cup of salvation, will I lift, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
13 Levarei ao Senhor uma oferta de vinho para lhe dar graças porque me salvou.
14 My vowsto Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in presence of all his people!
14 Na reunião de todo o seu povo eu lhe darei o que prometi.
15 Costly in the eyes of Yahweh, is, death, for his men of lovingkindness.
15 O Senhor Deus sente pesar quando vê morrerem os que são fiéis a ele.
16 I beseech thee, O Yahwehfor, I, am thy servant,I, am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid, Thou hast loosened my bonds.
16 Ó Senhor , eu sou teu servo ; eu te sirvo, como te servia a minha mãe. Tu me livraste da morte.
17 To thee, will I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
17 Eu te darei uma oferta de gratidão e a ti farei as minhas orações. nos pátios do teu Templo, em Jerusalém, eu te darei o que prometi.
18 My vowsto Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in the presence of all his people;

19 In the courts of the house of Yahweh, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Yah!
