1 And he entered again into a synagogue, and there-was there, a man having, his hand, withered;
1 Noutra vez, entrou ele na sinagoga e achava-se ali um homem que tinha a mão seca.
2 and they were narrowly watching him, whether, on the Sabbath, he would cure him, that they might accuse him.
2 Ora, estavam-no observando se o curaria no dia de sábado, para o acusarem.
3 And he saith unto the man who hath his hand withered, Arise into the midst!
3 Ele diz ao homem da mão seca: "Vem para o meio."
4 and saith unto themIs it allowed, on the Sabbath, to do good, or to do evil? To, save, life, or, to slay? but they remained silent.
4 Então lhes pergunta: "É permitido fazer o bem ou o mal no sábado? Salvar uma vida ou matar?" Mas eles se calavam.
5 And, looking round upon them with anger, being at the same time grieved on account of the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the manStretch forth thy hand! and he stretched it forth, and his hand, was restored.
5 Então, relanceando um olhar indignado sobre eles, e contristado com a dureza de seus corações, diz ao homem: "Estende tua mão!" Ele estendeu-a e a mão foi curada.
6 And, the Pharisees, going out straightway with the Herodians, were giving counsel against him, that they should, destroy, him.
6 Saindo os fariseus dali, deliberaram logo com os herodianos como o haviam de perder.
7 And, Jesus, with his disciples, retired unto the sea; and, a great throng from Galilee, followed, also from Judaea,
7 Jesus retirou-se com os seus discípulos para o mar, e seguia-o uma grande multidão, vinda da Galiléia.
8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and around Tyre and Zidon, a great throng, hearing whatsoever things he was doing, came unto him.
8 E da Judéia, de Jerusalém, da Iduméia, do além-Jordão e dos arredores de Tiro e de Sidônia veio a ele uma grande multidão, ao ouvir o que ele fazia.
9 And he spake unto his disciples that a little boat might attend him, because of the multitude,that they might not be pressing upon him.
9 Ele ordenou a seus discípulos que lhe aprontassem uma barca, para que a multidão não o comprimisse.
10 For he cured many, so that they were besieging him, that they might touch himas many as had plagues;
10 Curou a muitos, de modo que todos os que padeciam de algum mal se arrojavam a ele para o tocar.
11 and the impure spirits, as soon as they beheld him, were falling down to him, and crying aloud, while he was speaking, Thou, art the Son of God!
11 Quando os espíritos imundos o viam, prostravam-se diante dele e gritavam: Tu és o Filho de Deus!
12 and sternly was he rebuking them, lest they should make him manifest.
12 Ele os proibia severamente que o dessem a conhecer.
13 And he goeth up into the mountain and calleth near whom, he, pleased,and they went away unto him;
13 Depois, subiu ao monte e chamou os que ele quis. E foram a ele.
14 and he appointed a twelve, whom also he named, Apostles,that they might be with him, and that he might be sending them forth to make proclamation,
14 Designou doze dentre eles para ficar em sua companhia.
15 and to have authority to cast out the demons;
15 Ele os enviaria a pregar, com o poder de expulsar os demônios.
16 and he appointed the twelve (and imposed a name on Simon) Peter,
16 Escolheu estes doze: Simão, a quem pôs o nome de Pedro;
17 and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James (and imposed on them a nameBoanerges, that is, sons of thunder);
17 Tiago, filho de Zebedeu, e João, seu irmão, aos quais pôs o nome de Boanerges, que quer dizer Filhos do Trovão.
18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the zealot;
18 Ele escolheu também André, Filipe, Bartolomeu, Mateus, Tomé, Tiago, filho de Alfeu; Tadeu, Simão, o Zelador;
19 and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered him up. And he cometh into a house;
19 e Judas Iscariotes, que o entregou.
20 and the multitude come together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
20 Dirigiram-se em seguida a uma casa. Aí afluiu de novo tanta gente, que nem podiam tomar alimento.
21 And they who were near to him, hearing of it, went out to secure him,for they were sayingHe is beside himself!
21 Quando os seus o souberam, saíram para o reter; pois diziam: "Ele está fora de si."
22 And, the Scribes who from Jerusalem had come down, were sayingHe hath, Beelzebul; andIn the ruler of the demons, casteth he out the demons.
22 Também os escribas, que haviam descido de Jerusalém, diziam: "Ele está possuído de Beelzebul: é pelo príncipe dos demônios que ele expele os demônios."
23 And, calling them near, in parables, began he to say unto themHow can, Satan, cast, Satan out?
23 Mas, havendo-os convocado, dizia-lhes em parábolas: "Como pode Satanás expulsar a Satanás?
24 And, if a kingdom against itself be divided, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
24 Pois, se um reino estiver dividido contra si mesmo, não pode durar.
25 And, if a house against itself be divided, the house shall be unable to stand;
25 E se uma casa está dividida contra si mesma, tal casa não pode permanecer.
26 And, if, Satan, hath risen up against himself, and become divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
26 E se Satanás se levanta contra si mesmo, está dividido e não poderá continuar, mas desaparecerá.
27 But, no one is able into the house of the mighty one to enter, and, his spoils, to carry off, unless, first the mighty one, he bind, and, then his house, will he plunder!
27 Ninguém pode entrar na casa do homem forte e roubar-lhe os bens, se antes não o prender; e então saqueará sua casa.
28 Verily, I say unto youAll things shall be forgiven unto the sons of men,the sins and the profanities wherewithal they shall profane;
28 "Em verdade vos digo: todos os pecados serão perdoados aos filhos dos homens, mesmo as suas blasfêmias;
29 But, whosoever shall revile against the Holy Spirit, hath no forgiveness, unto times age-abiding,but is guilty of an age-abiding sin:
29 mas todo o que tiver blasfemado contra o Espírito Santo jamais terá perdão, mas será culpado de um pecado eterno."
30 because they were sayingAn impure spirit, he hath!
30 Jesus falava assim porque tinham dito: "Ele tem um espírito imundo."
31 And there come his mother and his brethren, and, standing, outside, they sent unto him, calling him.
31 Chegaram sua mãe e seus irmãos e, estando do lado de fora, mandaram chamá-lo.
32 And there was sitting around him a multitude, and they say unto himLo! thy mother and thy brethren, outside, are seeking thee!
32 Ora, a multidão estava sentada ao redor dele; e disseram-lhe: "Tua mãe e teus irmãos estão aí fora e te procuram."
33 And, answering them, he saithWho are my mother and my brethren?
33 Ele respondeu-lhes: "Quem é minha mãe e quem são meus irmãos?"
34 And, looking around on them who, about him, in a circle, were sitting, he saith, See! my mother and my brethren!
34 E, correndo o olhar sobre a multidão, que estava sentada ao redor dele, disse: "Eis aqui minha mãe e meus irmãos.
35 Whosoever shall do the will of God, the same, is my brother and sister and mother.
35 Aquele que faz a vontade de Deus, esse é meu irmão, minha irmã e minha mãe."
