1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
1 Disse o Senhor a Moisés:
2 Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them,IYahweh, am your God:
2 "Diga o seguinte aos israelitas: Eu sou o Senhor, o Deus de vocês.
3 After the doings of the land of Egypt wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do,And after the doings of the land of Canaan whither, I, am bringing you in, shall ye not do, And, in their statutes, shall ye not walk:
3 Não procedam como se procede no Egito, onde vocês moraram, nem como se procede na terra de Canaã, para onde os estou levando. Não sigam as suas práticas.
4 My regulations, shall ye do, And, my statutes, shall ye observe to walk therein,IYahweh, am your God.
4 Pratiquem as minhas ordenanças, obedeçam aos meus decretos e sigam-nos. Eu sou o Senhor, o Deus de vocês.
5 Therefore shall ye observe my statutes, and my regulations, Which if the son of earth shall do them, Then shall he live in them,I, am Yahweh.
5 Obedeçam aos meus decretos e ordenanças, pois o homem que os praticar viverá por eles. Eu sou o Senhor.
6 No person whatsoever, unto any of the near kin of his own flesh, shall approach to uncover the parts of shame,I, am Yahweh.
6 "Ninguém poderá se aproximar de uma parenta próxima para se envolver sexualmente com ela. Eu sou o Senhor.
7 The shame of thy father, even the shame of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover,thy mother, she is, thou shalt not uncover her shame.
7 "Não desonre o seu pai, envolvendo-se sexualmente com a sua mãe. Ela é sua mãe; não se envolva sexualmente com ela.
8 The shame of thy fathers wife, shalt thou not uncover,thy fathers shame, it is.
8 "Não se envolva sexualmente com a mulher do seu pai; isso desonraria seu pai.
9 The shame of thy sister daughter of thy father or daughter of thy mother, born at home or horn abroad, thou shalt not uncover their shame.
9 "Não se envolva sexualmente com a sua irmã, filha do seu pai ou da sua mãe, tenha ela nascido na mesma casa ou em outro lugar.
10 The shame of the daughter of thy son or the daughter of thy daughter, thou shalt not uncover their shame,for, thine own shame, they are.
10 "Não se envolva sexualmente com a filha do seu filho ou com a filha da sua filha; isso desonraria você.
11 The shame of the daughter of thy fathers wife, born to thy father, she being, thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her shame.
11 "Não se envolva sexualmente com a filha da mulher do seu pai, gerada por seu pai; ela é sua irmã.
12 The shame of thy fathers sister, shalt thou not uncover,thy fathers near of kin, she is.
12 "Não se envolva sexualmente com a irmã do seu pai; ela é parenta próxima do seu pai.
13 The shame of thy mothers sister, shalt thou not uncover,for, thy mothers near of kin, she is.
13 "Não se envolva sexualmente com a irmã da sua mãe; ela é parenta próxima da sua mãe.
14 The shame of thy fathers brother, shalt thou not uncover unto his wife, shalt thou not approach, thine aunt, she is.
14 "Não desonre o irmão do seu pai aproximando-se da sua mulher para com ela se envolver sexualmente; ela é sua tia.
15 The shame of thy daughter-in-law, shalt thou not uncover,thy sons wife, she is, thou shalt not uncover her shame.
15 "Não se envolva sexualmente com a sua nora. Ela é mulher do seu filho; não se envolva sexualmente com ela.
16 The shame of thy brothers wife, shalt thou not uncover,the shame of thy brother, it is.
16 "Não se envolva sexualmente com a mulher do seu irmão; isso desonraria seu irmão.
17 The shame of a woman, and of her daughter, shalt thou not uncover,neither the daughter of her son nor the laughter of her daughter, shalt thou take, to uncover her shame, near of kin, they are, wickedness, it is.
17 "Não se envolva sexualmente com uma mulher e sua filha. Não se envolva sexualmente com a filha do seu filho ou com a filha da sua filha; são parentes próximos. É perversidade.
18 And, a woman unto her sister, shalt thou not take,to cause rivalry, by uncovering her shame besides her own while she is living.
18 "Não tome por mulher a irmã da sua mulher, tornando-a rival, envolvendo-se sexualmente com ela, estando a sua mulher ainda viva.
19 And unto a woman during her removal for uncleanness, shalt thou not approach, to uncover her shame.
19 "Não se aproxime de uma mulher para se envolver sexualmente com ela quando ela estiver na impureza da sua menstruação.
20 And of the wife of thy neighbour, shalt thou not have carnal knowledge,to commit uncleanness with her.
20 "Não se deite com a mulher do seu próximo, contaminando-se com ela.
21 And none of thy seed, shalt thou deliver up, to cause to pass through to Molech,that thou profane not the name of thy God, I, am Yahweh.
21 "Não entregue os seus filhos para serem sacrificados a Moloque. Não profanem o nome do seu Deus. Eu sou o Senhor.
22 And, with mankind, shalt thou not lie as with womankind,an abomination, it is.
22 "Não se deite com um homem como quem se deita com uma mulher; é repugnante.
23 And of no beast, shalt thou have carnal knowledge to commit uncleanness therewith,neither shall a woman present herself to a beast to couch down thereto,confusion, it is.
23 "Não tenha relações sexuais com um animal, contaminando-se com ele. Mulher nenhuma se porá diante de um animal para ajuntar-se com ele; é depravação.
24 Do not make yourselves unclean in any of these things,For in all these things, have the nations made themselves unclean, whom, I, am sending out from before you.
24 "Não se contaminem com nenhuma dessas coisas, porque assim se contaminaram as nações que vou expulsar da presença de vocês.
25 Therefore hath the land become unclean, and I have visited the iniquity thereof upon it,and the land hath vomited her inhabitants.
25 Até a terra ficou contaminada; e eu castiguei a sua iniqüidade, e a terra vomitou os seus habitantes.
26 Ye, therefore, shall observe my statutes and my regulations, and have nothing to do with any of these abominations,whether the home-born, or the sojourner that sojourneth in your midst;
26 Mas vocês obedecerão aos meus decretos e às minhas leis. Nem o natural da terra nem o estrangeiro residente entre vocês farão nenhuma dessas abominações,
27 For all these abominations, have the men of the land done, who were before you; And so the land hath become unclean:
27 pois todas estas abominações foram praticadas pelos que habitaram essa terra antes de vocês; por isso a terra ficou contaminada.
28 So shall the land not vomit you, through your making it unclean,as it vomited the nation which was before you.
28 E, se vocês contaminarem a terra, ela os vomitará, como vomitou os povos que ali estavam antes de vocês.
29 For whosoever shall have anything to do with any of these abominations, the persons who have, shall be cut off, out of the midst of their people.
29 "Todo aquele que fizer alguma destas abominações, aqueles que assim procederem serão eliminados do meio do seu povo.
30 Therefore shall ye keep my charge, So that ye may have nothing to do with any of the abominable statutes with which they have had to do before you, So shall ye not make yourselves unclean thereby,IYahweh, am your God.
30 Obedeçam aos meus preceitos, e não pratiquem os costumes repugnantes praticados antes de vocês, nem se contaminem com eles. Eu sou o Senhor, o Deus de vocês".
