1 And, looking up, he saw the, rich, who were casting their gifts into the treasury,
1 Jesus estava observando e viu os ricos que lançavam seu dinheiro na caixa de ofertas.
2 and he saw a certain poor widow, casting in thither two mites;
2 Viu também certa viúva pobre lançar ali duas pequenas moedas.
3 and he saidOf a truth, I say unto youThis destitute widow, more than they all, hath cast in;
3 Então Jesus disse:
4 For, all these, out of their superfluity, have cast in among the gifts, but, she, out of her deficiency, all the living that she had, hath cast in.
4 Porque todos esses deram como oferta daquilo que lhes sobrava; esta, porém, da sua pobreza deu tudo o que possuía, todo o seu sustento.
5 And, certain saying, of the templeWith beautiful stones and offerings, hath it been adorned! he said
5 Alguns falavam a respeito do templo, como estava ornado de belas pedras e de dádivas.
6 As to these things, which ye are looking upon, There will come days, in which there will not be left here, stone upon stone, which will not be taken down.
6 Então Jesus disse:
7 And they questioned him, sayingTeacher! when, therefore, will these things be? And, what the sign, when these things shall be about to come to pass?
7 Perguntaram a Jesus: — Mestre, quando será isto? E que sinal haverá quando estas coisas estiverem para acontecer?
8 And, he, saidBe taking heed ye be not deceived; for, many, will come upon my name, sayingI, am he,andThe season, hath drawn near! Do not go after them.
8 Jesus respondeu:
9 But, whensoever ye shall hear of wars and revolutions, be not terrified,for these things, must needs, come to pass first, but, not immediately, is the end.
9 Quando vocês ouvirem falar de guerras e revoluções, não fiquem assustados; pois é necessário que primeiro aconteçam estas coisas, mas o fim não será logo.
10 Then, said he unto themThere will rise up, nation against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
10 Então Jesus lhes disse:
11 As well great earthquakes, as also, in places, pestilences and famines, will there be, as well objects of terror, as also, from heaven, great signs, will there be.
11 Haverá grandes terremotos, epidemias e fome em vários lugares, coisas espantosas e também grandes sinais vindos do céu.
12 And before, all these things, they will thrust upon you their hands, and persecute you, delivering you up into the synagogues and prisons,when ye have been led away before kings and governors, for the sake of my name;
12 Antes, porém, de todas estas coisas, vocês serão presos e perseguidos. Vocês serão entregues às sinagogas e lançados nas prisões; serão levados à presença de reis e de governadores, por causa do meu nome.
13 But it shall turn out to you for a witness.
13 Isto acontecerá para que vocês deem testemunho.
14 Settle, then, in your hearts, not to be studying beforehand, how to make defense;
14 Tomem, pois, a decisão de não se preocupar com o que irão responder,
15 For, I, will give you a mouth and wisdom, which one-and-all who are setting themselves against, you shall be unable to withstand or gainsay.
15 porque eu lhes darei palavras e sabedoria a que não poderão resistir nem contradizer todos os que se opuserem a vocês.
16 But ye will be delivered up, even by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends, and they will put to death some from among you;
16 E vocês serão entregues até por seus próprios pais, irmãos, parentes e amigos; e eles matarão alguns de vocês.
17 And ye will be hated by all, because of my name:
17 Todos odiarão vocês por causa do meu nome.
18 And, a hair of your head, in nowise shall perish,
18 Mas não se perderá um só fio de cabelo da cabeça de vocês.
19 By your endurance, shall ye gain your lives for a possession.
19 É pela perseverança que vocês ganharão a sua alma.
20 But whensoever ye shall see Jerusalem, encompassed by armies, then, know, that her desolation hath drawn near.
20 — Quando, porém, vocês virem Jerusalém sitiada de exércitos, saibam que está próxima a sua devastação.
21 Then they who are in Judaea, let them flee into the mountains, and they who are in her midst, let them go forth,and they who are in the fields, let them not enter into her;
21 Então os que estiverem na Judeia fujam para os montes; os que se encontrarem dentro da cidade saiam dela; e os que estiverem nos campos não entrem na cidade.
22 For, days of avenging, are, these, for all the things written to be fulfilled.
22 Porque esses dias são de vingança, para se cumprir tudo o que está escrito.
23 Alas! for the women with child, and for them who are giving suck, in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and anger against this people.
23 Ai das que estiverem grávidas e das que amamentarem naqueles dias! Porque haverá grande aflição na terra e ira contra este povo.
24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be carried away captive into all the nations, and, Jerusalem, shall be trodden down by the nations, until the seasons of the nations shall be fulfilled and shall be .
24 Cairão a fio de espada e serão levados cativos para todas as nações; e, até que os tempos dos gentios se completem, Jerusalém será pisada por eles.
25 And there will he signs in sun, and moon, and stars, and, on the earth, anguish of nations in embarrassmentsea and surge resounding,
25 — Haverá sinais no sol, na lua e nas estrelas; sobre a terra, angústia entre as nações em perplexidade por causa do bramido do mar e das ondas.
26 Men fainting, from fear and expectation of the things overtaking the inhabited earth. For, the powers of the heavens, will be shaken.
26 Haverá pessoas que desmaiarão de terror e pela expectativa das coisas que sobrevirão ao mundo, pois os poderes dos céus serão abalados.
27 And, then, will they see the Son of Mancoming in a cloud, with great power and glory.
27 Então verão o Filho do Homem vindo numa nuvem, com poder e grande glória.
28 And, when these things are beginning to come to pass, unbend and lift up your heads, because that, your redemption, is drawing near.
28 Ora, quando estas coisas começarem a acontecer, levantem-se e fiquem de cabeça erguida, porque a redenção de vocês se aproxima.
29 And he spake a parable unto them: See the fig-tree, and all the trees,
29 Jesus ainda lhes contou uma parábola, dizendo:
30 Whensoever they have already budded, seeing it, of yourselves, ye observe that, already near, is, the summer:
30 Quando veem que começam a brotar, vocês mesmos sabem que o verão está próximo.
31 Thus, ye also, whensoever ye shall see, these, things coming to pass, observe ye, that, near, is the kingdom of God!
31 Assim também, quando virem acontecer essas coisas, saibam que está próximo o Reino de Deus.
32 Verily, I say unto youIn nowise shall this generation pass away, until, all things, shall happen:
32 Em verdade lhes digo que não passará esta geração sem que tudo isto aconteça.
33 Heaven and earth, will pass away, but, my word, in nowise will pass away.
33 Passará o céu e a terra, porém as minhas palavras não passarão.
34 But be taking heed unto yourselves, lest once your hearts be made heavywith debauch and drunkenness and anxieties about livelihood, and that day come upon you suddenly,
34 — Tenham cuidado para não acontecer que o coração de vocês fique sobrecarregado com as consequências da orgia, da embriaguez e das preocupações deste mundo, e para que aquele dia não venha sobre vocês repentinamente,
35 as a snare,For it will come in by surprise, upon all them that are dwelling on the face of all the earth.
35 como uma armadilha. Pois sobrevirá a todos os que vivem sobre a face de toda a terra.
36 But be watching in every season, making supplication, that ye may gain full vigour, to escape all these things that are about to be coming to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
36 Portanto, vigiem o tempo todo, orando, para que vocês possam escapar de todas essas coisas que têm de acontecer e para que possam estar em pé na presença do Filho do Homem.
37 And he was, by day, in the temple, teaching; but, by night, going forth, he was lodging in the mount which is called the Mount of Olives.
37 Jesus ensinava todos os dias no templo, mas à noite saía e ficava no monte chamado das Oliveiras.
38 And, all the people, were coming at day-break unto him, in the temple, to be hearkening unto him.
38 E todo o povo madrugava para ir ao encontro dele no templo, a fim de ouvi-lo.
