1 For lo! in those days, and at that time,when I shall bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
1 O Senhor Deus diz: — Naquele tempo, farei com que o povo de Jerusalém e de Judá prospere de novo.
2 Then will I gather all the nations, and bring them down into the Vale of Jehoshaphat,and will enter into judgment with them there, concerning my people, and mine inheritance Israel, whom they scattered among the nations, and, my land, they apportioned;
2 Então ajuntarei os povos de todos os países e os levarei para o vale de Josafá e ali os julgarei. Eu farei isso por causa das maldades que praticaram contra o povo de Israel, o meu povo escolhido: espalharam os israelitas por vários países e dividiram entre si o meu país.
3 And, for my people, they cast lots,and gave a boy for a harlot, and a girl sold they for wineand drank.
3 Tiraram a sorte para ver quem ficava com os prisioneiros do meu povo; venderam meninos e meninas como escravos e gastaram o dinheiro com prostitutas e com vinho.
4 Moreover also, what have, ye, to do with me, O Tyre and Zidon, and all the circuit of Palestine? A recompense, are ye paying back unto me? But, though ye should make a recompense unto me, swiftly, speedily, would I return your recompense upon your own head.
4 — Povos de Tiro e de Sidom e de toda a Filisteia, o que é que vocês querem de mim? Estão querendo se vingar? Se é isso que querem, então eu também estou pronto para me vingar de vocês!
5 Because, my silver and my gold, ye took away,and, my richly beautiful things, carried ye into your temples;
5 Pois vocês roubaram a minha prata e o meu ouro e puseram toda essa riqueza nos seus templos.
6 And, the sons of Judah and the sons of Jerusalem, ye sold to the sons of Greece,that they might be far removed from their own boundary.
6 Vocês levaram o povo de Judá e os moradores de Jerusalém para longe das suas terras e os venderam como escravos aos gregos .
7 Behold me! rousing them up out of the place whither ye sold them,So will I bring back your dealing upon your own head.
7 Eu vou trazer o meu povo de volta daqueles lugares distantes e farei com vocês o mesmo que vocês fizeram com eles.
8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the sons of Judah, and they will sell them to Sabeans, unto a nation afar off,for, Yahweh, hath spoken.
8 Farei com que os filhos e as filhas de vocês sejam vendidos como escravos ao povo de Judá, que os venderá aos sabeus, povo de um país que fica muito longe daqui. Sou eu, o Senhor , quem está falando.
9 Proclaim ye this, among the nations, Hallow a war, rouse the mighty ones, let them draw near, come up, all the men of war!
9 — Anunciem isto às nações: “Preparem-se para uma guerra santa , chamem os soldados; que todos eles se apresentem e se aprontem para a batalha.
10 Beat your plough-shares into swords, and your pruning-hooks into spears,as for the weak, let him say, mighty, I am.
10 Transformem os seus arados em espadas e das suas foices façam lanças. Que até os fracos digam que são valentes!
11 Give helpand come in, all ye nations on every side, and gather yourselves together,Thither, bring down, O Yahweh, thy mighty ones!
11 Venham depressa, todas as nações vizinhas, e reúnam-se no vale. Que até os pacíficos virem soldados!
12 Let the nations, be roused, and come up, into the Vale of Jehoshaphat,for, there, will I sit to judge all the nations, on every side.
12 “Preparem-se, povos de todas as nações, e venham para o vale de Josafá , pois ali eu, o vou julgar todas as nações vizinhas.
13 Thrust ye in the vintage knife, for, grown ripe, is the vintage,Go in, tread down, for full is the winepress, flow over do the vats, for abundant is their wickedness.
13 Os pecados dessas nações são tantos, que elas vão ser cortadas como o trigo maduro no tempo da colheita; elas vão ser pisadas como as uvas são pisadas nos tanques até o vinho derramar.”
14 Multitudes, multitudes, in the vale of strict decision,for near is the day of Yahweh, in the vale of strict decision.
14 Multidões e mais multidões enchem o vale da Decisão; está perto o Dia do no vale da Decisão.
15 The sun and the moon, have become dark,and, the stars, have withdrawn their shining,
15 O sol e a lua ficam escuros, e as estrelas deixam de brilhar.
16 And, Yahweh, out of Zion, will roar, and, out of Jerusalem, will utter his voice, and the heavens and the earth, shall tremble,but, Yahweh, shall be a shelter to his people, and a refuge to the sons of Israel.
16 Do monte Sião , o Senhor fala alto, a sua voz parece o trovão. De Jerusalém, ouve-se o estrondo da voz de Deus, e os céus e a terra tremem! Mas ele defende e protege o povo de Israel.
17 So shall ye know that, I, Yahweh, am your God, making my habitation in Zion my holy mountain,So shall, Jerusalem, be, holy, and, foreigners, shall pass through her no more.
17 Deus diz ao seu povo: “Assim vocês vão ficar sabendo que eu sou o Eu moro em Sião, o meu monte santo. Jerusalém será uma cidade santa, e os estrangeiros nunca mais a conquistarão.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and the hills shall flow down with milk, and, all the channels of Judah, shall flow down with waters,and, a spring, out of the house of Yahweh, shall come forth, and shall water the torrent-valley of the acacias.
18 “Naquele tempo, os morros estarão cobertos de parreiras , haverá vacas pastando por todos os montes, e muita água vai correr nos ribeirões da terra de Judá. Do meu Templo, sairá um rio que regará o vale das Acácias.
19 Egypt, to a desolation, shall be turned, and, Edom, to a desert most desolate, shall be changed,because of the violence done to the sons of Judah, in that they shed innocent blood in their land.
19 O Egito ficará abandonado, e Edom parecerá um deserto, pois eles invadiram a terra de Judá e mataram pessoas inocentes. e castigarei os culpados. Mas sempre haverá gente vivendo em Judá e em Jerusalém, e eu, o
20 But, Judah, age-abidingly, shall remain, and, Jerusalem, to generation after generation.

21 And I will free from their blood-guiltiness them whom I had not freed,for, Yahweh, is about to make his habitation in Zion.
