Isaías 32

1 Lo! in righteousness, shall reign a king, Yea even princes, with equity, shall bear rule.
1 Eis que um rei reinará em justiça e príncipes governarão em juízo.
2 So shall each one become As a hiding-place from the wind And a covert from the storm,As channels of water ill a dry place, As the shadow of a massive cliff in a weary land.
2 E um homem será como um esconderijo para o vento e abrigo contra a tempestade. Como rios de água em um lugar seco, como a sombra de uma grande rocha em uma terra cansada.
3 And the eyes of them who are ready to see, shall not be closed,And, the ears of them who are ready to hear, shall hearken;
3 E os olhos daqueles que veem não estarão escurecidos, e os ouvidos daqueles que ouvem escutarão.
4 And the heart of the hurried, shall take note of knowledge, And the tongue of stammerers, shall make haste to speak plainly.
4 Também o coração do precipitado entenderá conhecimento, e a língua dos que gaguejam estará pronta para falar claramente.
5 A base man, shall no longer be called, noble,Nor, knave, be named, liberal;
5 A pessoa vil não mais será chamada de generosa, nem o avarento dito ser dadivoso.
6 For, a base man, with baseness, will speak, And, his heart, will practise iniquity,Practising profanity, And speaking, against Yahweh that which misleadeth, Emptying the soul of the hungry, And the drink of the thirsty, he causeth to fail;
6 Porque a pessoa vil falará vilania, e seu coração obrará iniquidade para praticar hipocrisia, e para pronunciar erro contra o SENHOR. Para fazer vazia a alma do faminto; e ele fará acabar a bebida do sedento.
7 Yea, a knave, his weapons are wicked,He, base schemes, hath devised To ruin the oppressed with speeches of falsehood Even when the needy pleadeth, for justice.
7 Também os instrumentos do avarento são maus. Ele planeja planos perversos para destruir o pobre com palavras mentirosas, mesmo quando o necessitado fala o que é correto.
8 But, a noble man, noble things, hath devised,And, he, upon noble things, will stand,
8 Porém, o generoso planeja coisas generosas, e por meio de coisas generosas ele ficará de pé.
9 Ye women in comfort! arise hear my voice, Ye daughters so confident give ear to my speech:
9 Levantai, vós mulheres indolentes; ouvi minha voz, vós filhas indiferentes; dai ouvido à minha fala.
10 Some days beyond a year, ye shall be troubled ye confident ones,For failed hath the vintage, No, gathering, cometh in.
10 Muitos dias e anos vós sereis atribuladas; vós, mulheres indiferentes; porque a vindima falhará, a colheita não chegará.
11 Tremble, ye women in comfort, Be troubled ye daughters so confident,Strip! and bare yourselves, and gird some-what on your loins:
11 Tremei, vós, mulheres que estão indolentes; sede atribuladas, vós, indiferentes. Despi-vos, ficai nuas e cingi vestimenta de pano de saco, sobre vossos lombos.
12 Upon your breasts, continue smiting: For desirable fields, For fruitful vine.
12 Elas lamentar-se-ão por seus peitos, pelos campos agradáveis, pela vinha frutífera.
13 Over the soil of my people, thorns and briars shall grow,Yea over all houses of joy, thou city exultant!
13 Sobre a terra do meu povo brotarão espinheiros e arbustos com espinhos. Sim, sobre todas as casas alegres dentro da cidade alegre.
14 For the palace, is abandoned, the tumult of the city, hath ceasedHill and watch-tower, serve as caves, unto times age-abiding, The joy of wild-asses, The pasture of flocks:
14 Porque os palácios serão abandonados. A multidão da cidade será retirada. As fortificações e torres serão por refúgios eternamente, uma alegria para jumentos selvagens, um pasto de rebanhos.
15 Until there be poured out upon us the spirit, from on high,Then shall the wilderness become, garden-land, And the garden-land, for a forest, be reckoned;
15 Até o Espírito ser derramado sobre nós do alto; e o deserto ser um campo frutífero e o campo frutífero ser considerado uma floresta.
16 Then shall, justice inhabit, the wilderness, And righteousness, in the garden-land, shall abide;
16 Então, juízo habitará no deserto, e justiça permanecerá no campo frutífero.
17 And the yield of righteousness, shall be, peace,And the tillage of righteousness, quietness, and confidence! to times age-abiding;
17 E a obra da justiça será paz, e o efeito da justiça, quietude e segurança eternamente.
18 And my people shall dwell, In a borne of peace,and In habitations of security, and In resting-places of comfort.
18 E meu povo habitará em uma habitação pacífica e em moradias seguras; e em lugares quietos de descanso.
19 But it shall hail during the felling of the forest, And in a sunken place, shall, the city, sink.
19 Quando chover granizo, caindo sobre a floresta, e a cidade vier a ser abatida em um lugar humilhado.
20 How happy are ye who sow beside all waters,Who send forth the foot of the ox and the ass.
20 Abençoados sois vós que semeais junto a todas as águas, e que enviais naquela direção os pés do boi e do jumento.
