1 The vision of Isaiah son of Amoz, which he saw, concerning Judah and Jerusalem,in the days of Uzziah Jotham Ahaz Hezekiahkings of Judah.
1 A visão de Isaías, o filho de Amós, a qual ele viu a respeito de Judá e Jerusalém nos dias de Uzias, Jotão, Acaz, e Ezequias, reis de Judá.
2 Hear O heavens, And give ear, O earth, for Yahweh, hath spoken:Sons, have I brought up, and advanced, And, they, have rebelled against me.
2 Ouçam, ó céus e dê ouvidos, ó terra; porque o SENHOR tem falado. Eu tenho alimentado e fiz crescer filhos, e eles têm se rebelado contra mim.
3 An ox knoweth, his owner, And an ass his masters crib,Israel, doth not know, My people doth not consider.
3 O boi conhece seu dono e o jumento a manjedoura de seu senhor, porém, Israel não conhece, meu povo não pensa.
4 Alas! a nationcommitting sin, a peopleburdened with iniquity, a seedpractising wickedness, sonsacting corruptly. They have forsaken Yahweh despised the Holy One of Israel,Are estranged and gone back.
4 Ah, nação pecadora! Um povo carregado com iniquidade, uma semente de malfeitores, filhos que são corruptores. Eles têm abandonado o SENHOR, eles têm provocado o Santo de Israel até a ira, eles me deixaram e retrocederam.
5 Why should ye be smitten any more? Ye would again turn aside! The whole head is sick, And the whole heart faint:
5 Por que vós não deveríeis mais ser afligidos? Vós vos rebelareis mais e mais. A cabeça toda está enferma e o coração todo fraco.
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head, there is in it no soundness, Bruise and stripe and newly-made wound,They have not been pressed out, nor bound up, nor soothed with oil.
6 Desde a sola do pé até a cabeça não há solidez nele, porém feridas, hematomas e chagas putrefantes. Elas não têm sido espremidas nem atadas, nem amolecidas com unguento.
7 Your countryis a desolation, Your citiesare consumed with fire,Your soilright before your eyes, foreigners are devouring it, And it is a desolation a very overthrow by foreigners;
7 Vosso país está desolado, vossas cidades estão queimadas a fogo, vossa terra, estrangeiros a devoram em vossa presença e está desolada, porque é derrubada por estrangeiros.
8 And left is the Daughter of Zion, Like a hut in a vineyard,Like a lodge in a gourd-plot Like a city besieged.
8 E a filha de Sião é abandonada como uma casinha em uma vinha, como um alojamento em um pepinal, como uma cidade sitiada.
9 If, Yahweh of hosts, had not left us a very small remnant, Like Sodom, had we become, Gomorrah, had we resembled.
9 Se o SENHOR dos Exércitos não tivesse deixado para nós um remanescente muito pequeno, nós teríamos sido como Sodoma e semelhantes a Gomorra.
10 Hear the word of Yahweh, ye rulers of Sodom,Give ear to the instruction of our God, ye people of Gomorrah:
10 Ouvi a palavra do SENHOR, vós governantes de Sodoma. Dai ouvidos à lei de nosso Deus, vós, povo de Gomorra.
11 Of what use to me, is your multitude of sacrifices: Saith Yahweh: I am sated with ascending-offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts,In the blood of bulls and young rams and he-goats, have I no pleasure.
11 Para qual propósito é a multidão de vossos sacrifícios para mim? Diz o SENHOR. Estou cheio de ofertas queimadas de carneiros e da gordura de animais cevados e não tenho prazer no sangue de novilhos, ou de cordeiros, ou de bodes.
12 When ye enter to see my face, Who hath required this at your hand trampling my courts?
12 Quando vindes para vos apresentardes perante a mim, quem tem requerido isso de vossa mão, que piseis meus átrios?
13 Ye shall not again bring in an empty, present, Incense, an abomination, is that unto me! New moon, and sabbath calling an assemblyI cannot endure, iniquity and sacred festival!
13 Não tragais mais oblações vãs; incenso é uma abominação para mim; as luas novas e shabats, a convocação das assembleias, eu não posso suportar; é iniquidade, até mesmo o ajuntamento solene.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts, my soul, hateth,They have become unto me a burden I am too weary to bear:
14 Vossas luas novas e vossas festas fixas minha alma as odeia. Elas são um aborrecimento para mim. Eu estou cansado de suportá-las.
15 Even when ye spread forth your open palms, I hide mine eyes from you; Yea, though ye multiply prayers, I am not hearkening,Your hands, with deeds of blood, are filled.
15 E quando estenderdes as vossas mãos, eu esconderei meus olhos de vós. Sim, quando vós fizerdes muitas orações, eu não ouvirei. As vossas mãos estão cheias de sangue.
16 Wash you make you clean, Put away the wickedness of your doings from before mine eyes,Cease to do evil.
16 Lavai-vos, purificai-vos. Retirai a maldade de vossos atos diante dos meus olhos, cessai de fazer o mal.
17 Learn to do wellSeek justice, Correct the oppressor,Vindicate the fatherless, Plead the cause of the widow,
17 Aprendei a fazer o bem. Buscai o juízo, aliviai o oprimido, fazei justiça ao órfão, pleiteai pela viúva.
18 Come, I pray you, and let us settle the disputer Saith Yahweh,Though your sins be found like scarlet, As snow, shall they be made white, Though they appear red like crimson, As wool, shall they become.
18 Vinde agora, e vamos debater juntamente a respeito, diz o SENHOR. Embora vossos pecados sejam como escarlate, eles serão tão brancos como neve. Embora eles sejam vermelhos como carmesim, eles serão como lã.
19 If ye be willingand hearken Of the good of the land, shall ye eat;
19 Se sois dispostos e obedientes, comereis o melhor da terra.
20 But, if ye refuse and rebel, With the sword, shall ye be devoured, For, the mouth of Yahweh, hath spoken it.
20 Porém, se vós recusardes e vos rebelardes, sereis devorados com a espada, porque a boca do SENHOR tem dito isto.
21 How hath she become unchaste!The city that was Faithful,Full of justice, Righteousness lodged in her, But, now, murderers!
21 Como a cidade fiel se tornou uma prostituta! Ela estava repleta de juízo. A retidão se alojava nela, mas agora assassinos.
22 Thy silver, hath become dross,Thy wine, weakened with water;
22 Tua prata torna-se em escória, teu vinho, misturado com água.
23 Thy rulers, are unruly, and companions of thieves, Every one of the people, loveth a bribe, and runneth after rewards,The fatherless, they do not vindicate, And, the plea of the widow, reacheth them not.
23 Teus príncipes são rebeldes, e companheiros de ladrões. Cada um ama presentes, e segue atrás de recompensas. Eles não julgam o órfão, nem fazem a causa da viúva vir até eles.
24 Therefore, Declareth the Lord Yahweh of hosts, The Mighty One of Israel,Alas! I must appease me on mine adversaries, I must avenge me on mine enemies
24 Portanto, diz o Senhor, o SENHOR dos Exércitos, o Poderoso de Israel: Ah, eu me livrarei dos meus adversários, e me vingarei dos meus inimigos!
25 That I may turn my hand against thee, And smelt away, as with potash, thy dross, And remove all thine alloy;
25 E eu voltarei minha mão sobre ti, e purificarei completamente tua escória, e removerei todo teu estanho.
26 That I may restore thy Judges as at the first, and thy Counsellors as at the beginning,After that, shalt thou he called Righteous citadel, Trusty city,
26 E restaurarei teus juízes como no início, e teus conselheiros como no começo; depois tu serás chamada: A cidade da justiça, a cidade fiel.
27 Zion, with justice shall be redeemed,And her returning ones, with righteousness;
27 Sião será redimida com julgamento, e sua conversão com justiça.
28 And the downfall of transgressors and sinners, shall be, together,And, they who forsake Yahweh, shall be brought to an end;
28 E a destruição dos transgressores e pecadores será concomitante e os que abandonam o SENHOR serão consumidos.
29 For they shall turn pale on account of the oaks which ye desired,And ye shall blush on account of the gardens which ye had chosen;
29 Porque eles sentirão vergonha dos carvalhos, os quais tendes desejado, e vós sereis confundidos pelos jardins que tendes escolhido.
30 For ye shall be as an oak with its leaf faded, And as a garden that hath no, water;
30 Porque vós sereis como um carvalho cujas folhas murcham, e como um jardim que não tem água.
31 Then shall the strong one become tow, And his work a spark,And they shall both blaze together And there be none to quench the fire.
31 E o forte será como estopa, e o que fez como uma fagulha. Ambos queimarão juntos e ninguém os apagará.
