Rotherham Version (ROTH) vs NAA
1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
1 A palavra do Senhor veio a mim, dizendo:
2 Thou, therefore, son of man, Take up over Tyre a dirge;
2 — Filho do homem, faça uma lamentação sobre Tiro.
3 And thou shalt say unto Tyre, O thou that dwellest by the entrances of the sea, Thou merchant of the peoples unto many shores, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, O Tyre, Thou saidst, I, am the perfection of beauty!
3 Diga a Tiro, que habita nas entradas do mar e negocia com os povos em muitas terras do mar: Assim diz o Senhor Deus: “Ó Tiro, você diz que é a Perfeição da Formosura.
4 In the heart of the seas, were thy bounds, Thy builders perfected thy beauty:
4 As suas fronteiras estão no coração dos mares; os que a construíram aperfeiçoaram a sua beleza.
5 With fir-trees from Senir, but they for thee all the two-decked vessels, Cedar from Lebanon, fetched they, to make masts for thee:
5 Fabricaram todos os seus conveses de ciprestes de Senir; trouxeram cedros do Líbano para fazer o seu mastro.
6 With oaks from Bashan, made they thine oars, Thy benches, made they of ivory, inlaid with boxwood, From the shores of the West:
6 Fizeram os seus remos de carvalhos de Basã; os seus bancos, fizeram-nos de marfim engastado em pinho de Chipre.
7 Of fine linen with embroidered work from Egypt, was thy sail, To serve thee for ensign, Blue and purple from the shores of Aeolis became thine awning:
7 A sua vela era de linho fino bordado do Egito, para servir de estandarte; azul e púrpura das ilhas de Elisá eram o seu toldo.
8 the inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad, Became rowers for thee, Thine own skilled men O Tyre, were within thee, They were thy sailors:
8 Os moradores de Sidom e de Arvade foram os seus remadores; os seus sábios, ó Tiro, que se achavam dentro de você, esses foram os seus pilotos.
9 the elders of Byblus and the skilled men thereof, were within thee, Thy calkers, All the ships of the sea and their mariners, were within thee, To carry on thy traffic,
9 Os anciãos de Gebal e os seus sábios estavam dentro de você para reparar as brechas; todos os navios do mar e os marinheiros se achavam dentro de você, para comprar as suas mercadorias.”
10 They of Persia and Lud and Phut were in thine army, Thy men of war, Shield and helmet, hung they up within thee, They set forth thy splendour:
10 — Os persas, os lídios e os de Pute serviam no seu exército como homens de guerra; penduravam em você os seus escudos e capacetes; foram eles que a cobriram de glória.
11 The sons of Arvad, :with thine army, were upon thy walls round about, And valorous in thy towers, Their shields, hung they up on thy walls round about, They perfected thy beauty:
11 Os filhos de Arvade e o seu exército estavam sobre as muralhas que a rodeavam, e os gamaditas ficavam de vigia nas torres; penduravam os seus escudos nas suas muralhas e aperfeiçoavam a sua beleza.
12 Tarshish was a trader of thine. For the abundance of all wealth, With silver iron. tin and lead, Took they part in thy traffic:
12 — Társis negociava com você, por causa da abundância de todo tipo de riquezas; em troca das suas mercadorias lhe traziam prata, ferro, estanho e chumbo.
13 Javan. Tubal and Meshech, They were merchants of thine, With the persons of men and vessels of bronze, Shared they in thy barter:
13 Javã, Tubal e Meseque negociavam com você; em troca das suas mercadorias, davam escravos e objetos de bronze.
14 Some of the house of Togarmah, with horses and horsemen and mules, Took part in thy traffic:
14 Os da casa de Togarma, em troca das suas mercadorias, davam cavalos, ginetes e mulas.
15 the sons of Dedan were merchants of thine, Many, isles, took the merchandise of thy hand, Horns of ivory and ebony, gave they back to thee in exchange:
15 Os filhos de Dedã negociavam com você; muitas terras do mar eram o mercado das suas manufaturas; em troca, traziam dentes de marfim e madeira de ébano.
16 Syria, was a trader of thine For the abundance of thy manufactures,- With carbuncle and purple and em- broidery and fine linen and coral and rubies, Took they part in thy traffic:
16 A Síria negociava com você por causa da multidão das suas manufaturas; por suas mercadorias, eles davam esmeralda, púrpura, obras bordadas, linho fino, coral e pedras preciosas.
17 Judah and the land of Israel, They, were merchants of thine, With the wheat of Minnith and the sweets of pannag and honey and oil and balsam, Shared they in thy barter:
17 Judá e a terra de Israel negociavam com você; pelas suas mercadorias, davam o trigo de Minite, confeitos, mel, azeite e bálsamo.
18 Damascus was a trader of thine For the multitude of thy manufactures For the multitude of all wealth,- With the wine of Helbon and white wool:
18 Damasco negociava com você, por causa da multidão das suas manufaturas, por causa da abundância de todo tipo de riquezas, dando em troca vinho de Helbom e lã de Saar.
19 Wedan and Javan, from Uzal, Brought into thy traffic, Steel, cassia and calamus, Were, in thy merchandise:
19 Também Dã e Javã, de Uzal, pelas suas mercadorias, davam em troca ferro trabalhado, cássia e cálamo, que assim entravam no seu comércio.
20 Dedan was a merchant of thine,- With spreading wraps for riding:
20 Dedã negociava com você, trazendo mantas para cavalos.
21 Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, They, were traders at thy service, With lambs and rams and he-goats, With these, were they traders of thine:
21 A Arábia e todos os príncipes de Quedar eram seus clientes; negociavam com você, trazendo cordeiros, carneiros e bodes; nisto, negociavam com você.
22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, They were merchants of thine, With the chief of all spices and with every kind of precious stone and gold, Took they part in thy traffic:
22 Os mercadores de Sabá e Raamá negociavam com você; pelas suas mercadorias, davam em troca os mais finos aromas, pedras preciosas e ouro.
23 Haran and Canneh and Eden, the merchants of Sheba,Asshur. Chilmad, Were merchants of thine:
23 Harã, Cane e Éden, mercadores de Sabá, Assíria e Quilmade eram seus clientes.
24 Those were thy merchants for gorgeous garments, for wrappings of blue and embroidery, and for treasure-chests of variegated cloth,for cords, twisted and strong, in thy market:
24 Negociavam com você, trazendo todo tipo de mercadorias, tecidos de púrpura e bordados, tapetes de várias cores e cordas trançadas e fortes.
25 the ships of Tarshish, were thy masts Carrying on thy barter, So wast thou fled and becamest very glorious In the heart of the seas.
25 Os navios de Társis transportavam as suas mercadorias. “Você se enriqueceu e ficou famosa no coração dos mares.
26 Into mighty waters, have they brought thee, the rowerseven thee, the east wind, hath broken thee In the heart of the seas:
26 Os seus remadores conduziram você sobre grandes águas; o vento leste a destroçou no coração dos mares.
27 Thy wealth and thy wares, thy merchandise thy mariners, and thy sailors,-thy calkers and the barterers of thy merchandise and all thy men of war who are in thee and in all thy gathered host which is in thy midst Shall fall into the heart of the seas, In the day of thy fall.
27 As suas riquezas, as suas mercadorias, os seus bens, os seus marinheiros, os seus pilotos, os encarregados de reparar as brechas, os seus comerciantes e todos os soldados que estão dentro de você, juntamente com toda a multidão do povo que está dentro de você, se afundarão no coração dos mares no dia da sua ruína, ó Tiro.
28 At the sound of the outcry of thy pots, the coasts shall quake:
28 Ao estrondo da gritaria dos seus pilotos, as praias tremerão.
29 Then shall come down from their ships all that handle the oar, mariners, all the sailors of the sea Upon the land, shall they take up their station;
29 Todos os remadores, os marinheiros, e todos os pilotos do mar descerão de seus navios e pararão em terra.
30 And make loud over thee, with their voice, And make biter outcry,- And shall lift up dust on their heads, In ashes, shall roll themselves;
30 Farão ouvir a sua voz por causa de você e gritarão amargamente; lançarão pó sobre a cabeça e rolarão na cinza.
31 And shall make bald for thee a baldness And gird them with sackcloth, And shall weep for time in bitterness of soul. A biter lamentation;
31 Raparão a cabeça por sua causa, vestirão roupa feita de pano de saco e chorarão por você com amargura de alma e com amarga lamentação.
32 And shall take up for thee in their Wailing: a dirge, And shall chant over thee,- Who is like Tyre? Like the Sent One in the midst of the sea?
32 Em seu pranto, farão uma lamentação sobre você, dizendo: ‘Quem era como Tiro, que agora está reduzida ao silêncio no meio do mar?
33 By the going forth of thy commodities out of the seas, Thou didst satisfy many peoples, By the multitude of thy wares and of thy merchandise, Thou didst enrich the kings of the earth.
33 Quando as suas mercadorias eram exportadas pelos mares, você satisfez muitos povos; com as suas muitas riquezas e suas mercadorias você enriqueceu os reis da terra.
34 Now, thou art wrecked out of the seas In the depths of waters, Thy merchandise and all thy gathered host In thy midst, have fallen.
34 Agora você foi destroçada nos mares, nas profundezas das águas; se afundaram as suas mercadorias e toda a multidão que estava dentro de você.’”
35 All the dwellers in the coastlands, Are astounded over thee,- And their king have been made to shudder a shuddering, To be troubled in countenance.
35 “Todos os moradores das ilhas se espantam por causa de você; os seus reis estão apavorados e trazem o medo estampado no rosto.
36 the traders among the peoples, have hissed over thee: A terror, hast thou become, And I art not k Unto times age-abiding.
36 Os mercadores entre os povos zombam de você; você se tornou objeto de espanto e deixará de existir para sempre.”
