1 Thou thyself, therefore bring near unto theeAaron thy brother and his sons with him out of the midst of the sons of Israel, that they may minister as priests unto me,Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar sons of Aaron.
1 “Mande chamar seu irmão Arão e os filhos dele, Nadabe, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar. Separe-os dos demais israelitas para que me sirvam e sejam meus sacerdotes.
2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother,for glory and for beauty.
2 Faça para Arão roupas sagradas, trajes de grande beleza e esplendor.
3 Thou thyself, therefore, shalt speak unto all the wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom,and they shall make Aarons garments, to hallow him for ministering as priest unto me.
3 Instrua todos os artesãos habilidosos que eu enchi de espírito de sabedoria a fim de que confeccionem para Arão roupas que o consagrarão como sacerdote para o meu serviço.
4 These, therefore are the garments which they shall makea breastpiece, and an ephod and a robe, and a tunic of checker work, a turban and a girdle,so shall they make holy garments for Aaron thy brother and for his sons, for ministering as priests unto me.
4 Estas são as roupas que devem confeccionar: um peitoral, um colete, um manto, uma túnica bordada, um turbante e um cinturão. Devem fazer essas roupas sagradas para seu irmão Arão e para os filhos deles vestirem quando me servirem como sacerdotes.
5 They themselves, therefore, shall take the gold, and the blue and the purple,and the crimson, and the fine linen.
5 Dê a eles, portanto, linho finamente tecido com fios de ouro e de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho.”
6 And they shall make the ephod,of gold, blue and purple crimson and fine-twined linen, the work of a skilful weaver.
6 “Os artesãos devem fazer o colete sacerdotal de linho finamente tecido e artisticamente bordado, usando fios de ouro e fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho.
7 Two joining shoulderpieces, shall there be to it upon the two extremities thereof that it may be joined together,
7 O colete terá duas peças, unidas nos ombros por duas ombreiras.
8 And the curious band for fastening it, that is upon it, like the work thereof of the same, shall it be,of gold blue and purple and crimson and fine-twined linen,
8 O cinturão decorativo será feito dos mesmos materiais: linho finamente tecido bordado com fios de ouro e fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho.
9 And thou shalt take two onyx stones,and engrave upon them the names of the sons of Israel:
9 “Grave em duas pedras de ônix os nomes das tribos de Israel,
10 six of their names, on the one stone,and the names of the six that remain, on the second stone according to their births:
10 seis nomes em cada pedra, organizados de acordo com a ordem de nascimento dos filhos de Israel.
11 with the work of a stone engraver, like seal-ring engravings, shalt thou engrave the two stones, after the names of the sons of Israel,to be encircled with settings of gold, shalt thou make them.
11 Grave esses nomes nas duas pedras da mesma forma que o ourives grava um selo. Em seguida, encrave-as em suportes de filigranas de ouro.
12 And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulderpieces of the ephod, as stones of memorial for the sons of Israel,so shall Aaron bear their names before Yahweh upon his two shoulders, for a memorial.
12 Prenda-as às ombreiras do colete sacerdotal como recordação de que Arão representa os israelitas. Arão levará esses nomes sobre seus ombros como lembrança contínua sempre que se apresentar diante do S enhor .
13 And thou shalt make ouches of gold;
13 Faça suportes para as pedras com filigranas de ouro,
14 and two chains of pure gold, like cord, shalt thou make them, of wreathen work, and thou shalt put the wreathen chains on the ouches.
14 trance duas correntes de ouro puro e prenda-as aos suportes de filigrana sobre as ombreiras do colete.”
15 And thou shalt make a breastpiece for giving sentence the work of a skilful weaver, like the work of the ephod, shalt thou make it, of gold, blue, and purple and crimson and fine-twined linen, shalt thou make it.
15 “Em seguida, faça com grande habilidade o peitoral para decisões. Confeccione-o de modo que combine com o colete sacerdotal, usando linho finamente tecido com fios de ouro e fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho.
16 Four-square, shall it be double,a span the length thereof and a span the breadth thereof.
16 Faça o peitoral de uma só peça dobrada de tecido, formando um bolso quadrado com 22,5 centímetros de lado.
17 And thou shalt set therein a setting of stones, four rows of stones,one rowa sardius, a topaz and an emerald, the first row;
17 Fixe no peitoral quatro fileiras de pedras preciosas. A primeira fileira terá um rubi, um topázio e um berilo.
18 and the second row a carbuncle a sapphire and a diamond;
18 A segunda fileira será composta de uma turquesa, uma safira e uma esmeralda.
19 and the third row an opal, an agate, and an amethyst;
19 A terceira fileira será composta de um jacinto, uma ágata e uma ametista.
20 and the fourth row, a Tarshish stone, a sardonyx, and a jasper,enclosed with gold, shall they be when they are set.
20 A quarta fileira terá um crisólito, um ônix e um jaspe. Todas essas pedras serão presas a suportes de filigranas de ouro.
21 And the stones shall be after the names of the sons of Israeltwelve, after their names,as the engravings of a seal-ring everyone after his name, shall they be, for the twelve tribes,
21 Cada pedra representará um dos doze filhos de Israel, e o nome da tribo correspondente será gravado na pedra como um selo.
22 And thou shalt make, upon the breastpiece, chains like cords of wreathen work,of pure gold.
22 “Para prender o peitoral ao colete sacerdotal, faça correntes de fios trançados de ouro puro.
23 And thou shalt make, upon the breastpiece, two rings of gold,and thou shalt place the two rings, upon the two ends of the breastpiece.
23 Faça também duas argolas de ouro e prenda-as aos cantos superiores do peitoral.
24 And thou shalt hang the two wreathen chains of gold upon the two rings,upon the ends of the breastpiece;
24 Amarre as duas correntes de ouro nas duas argolas dos cantos superiores do peitoral.
25 and the other two ends of the two wreathen chains, shalt thou fasten upon the two ouches, so shalt thou hang them upon the shoulderpieces of the ephod, in the forefront thereof.
25 Amarre as outras pontas das correntes às filigranas de ouro sobre as ombreiras do colete.
26 And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastpiece upon the border thereof, which is on the side of the ephod inwards.
26 Em seguida, faça mais duas argolas de ouro e prenda-as às bordas interiores do peitoral, junto ao colete.
27 And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and place them upon the two shoulderpieces of the ephod beneath, on the front of the face thereof, over against its joining, above the curious band of the ephod:
27 Faça outras duas argolas de ouro e prenda-as à parte da frente do colete, abaixo das ombreiras e logo acima do nó com o qual o cinturão decorativo é amarrado ao colete.
28 that they may bind the breastpiece by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue, so that it may remain upon the curious band of the ephod, and the breastpiece not be removed from of the ephod.
28 Depois, prenda as argolas inferiores do peitoral às argolas do colete com cordões azuis, para que o peitoral fique firmemente preso ao colete acima do cinturão decorativo.
29 So shall Aaron bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece for giving sentence upon his heart when he goeth into the holy place,for a memorial before Yahweh continually.
29 “Com isso, Arão levará os nomes das tribos de Israel sobre seu coração no peitoral para decisões quando entrar no lugar santo. Essa será uma lembrança contínua de que ele representa o povo diante do S enhor .
30 Thus shalt thou place, in the breastpiece for giving sentence, the lights and the perfections, so shall they be upon the heart of Aaron when he goeth in before Yahweh,so shall Aaron bear the sentence of the sons of Israel, upon his heart before Yahweh continually.
30 Dentro do peitoral para decisões, coloque o Urim e o Tumim para que Arão os leve sobre o coração quando se apresentar diante do S enhor . Assim, sempre que se apresentar diante do S enhor , Arão levará sobre o coração os objetos usados para determinar as decisões a respeito do povo de Israel.”
31 And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod wholly of blue;
31 “De uma só peça de tecido azul, confeccione o manto que é usado com o colete sacerdotal.
32 and the opening for his head shall be in the midst thereof,a border, shall there be to the opening thereof round about the work of a weaver, like the opening of a coat of mail, shall there be to it, it must not be rent.
32 Faça uma abertura para a cabeça de Arão no meio da peça e reforce a abertura com uma gola, para que não se rasgue.
33 And thou shalt make upon the skirts thereof pomegranates of blue and purple and crimson, upon the skirts thereof round aboutand bells of gold in the midst of them round about:
33 Faça romãs de fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho e prenda-as à borda do manto, com sinos de ouro entre elas.
34 a bell of gold and a pomegranate, a bell of gold, and a pomegranate,upon the skirts of the robe, round about.
34 Os sinos de ouro e as romãs serão intercalados por toda a volta da borda.
35 And it shall be upon Aaron, for ministering,so shall be heard the sound of himwhen he goeth into the holy place, before Yahweh, and cometh out, and dieth not.
35 Arão vestirá esse manto sempre que servir diante do S enhor , e os sinos tocarão quando ele entrar na presença do S enhor no lugar santo e também quando sair. Se ele usar o manto, não morrerá.
36 And thou shalt make a burnished plate, of pure gold,and shalt engrave thereupon, like the engravings of a seal-ring, Holiness to Yahweh.
36 “Em seguida, faça uma tiara de ouro puro e grave nela, como em um selo, as palavras Santo para o S enhor .
37 And thou shalt put it upon a cord of blue, so shall it be upon the turban,upon the forefront of the turban, shall it be.
37 Prenda a tiara com um cordão azul à parte da frente do turbante de Arão.
38 So shall it be upon the forehead of Aaron, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the hallowed things, which the sons of Israel shall hallow, for all their hallowed gift,and it shall be upon his forehead continually, that there may be acceptance for them before Yahweh.
38 Arão a usará na testa, para que tome sobre si toda a culpa dos israelitas quando consagrarem suas ofertas sagradas. Terá de usá-la sempre na testa para que o S enhor aceite seu povo.
39 And thou shalt weave, in checker work the tunic of fine linen, and shalt make a turban of fine linen,and, a girdle, shalt thou make the work of an embroiderer.
39 “Teça a túnica bordada de Arão com linho fino. Com o mesmo linho, faça o turbante. Confeccione também um cinturão e enfeite-o com bordados coloridos.
40 And, for the sons of Aaron, shalt thou make tunics, and shalt make for them girdles,and caps, shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
40 “Para os filhos de Arão, confeccione túnicas, cinturões e turbantes especiais, trajes de grande beleza e esplendor.
41 And thou shalt clothe therewith Aaron thy brother, and his sons, with him,and shalt anoint them and install them, and hallow them, so shall they minister as priests unto me.
41 Vista seu irmão Arão e os filhos dele com essas roupas e, em seguida, unja-os e consagre-os. Santifique-os para que sirvam como meus sacerdotes.
42 And thou shalt make for them breeches of linen, to cover their unseemliness, from the loins even unto the thighs, shall they be;
42 Faça também roupas de baixo de linho para serem usadas diretamente sobre a pele, indo da cintura até as coxas.
43 so shall they be upon Aaron and upon his sons, when they go into the tent of meeting, or when they approach unto the altar, to minister in the holy place, lest they bear iniquity, and die,a statute age-abiding, to him and to his seed after him.
43 Arão e seus filhos deverão usar esses calções sempre que entrarem na tenda do encontro ou se aproximarem do altar para servir no lugar santo. Desse modo, não levarão culpa alguma sobre si e não morrerão. Essa é uma lei permanente para Arão e todos os seus descendentes.”
