1 And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people saying,Observe all the commandment which I am commanding you to-day.
1 E Moisés, e os anciãos de Israel ordenaram ao povo, dizendo: Guardai todos estes mandamentos que neste dia vos ordeno.
2 So then it shall be in the day when ye shall pass over the Jordan, into the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee,that thou shalt rear thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster;
2 E acontecerá que, no dia em que passares o Jordão para a terra que o SENHOR teu Deus te dá, que levantarás grandes pedras, e as caiarás com cal;
3 and shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou shalt pass over,to the end that thou mayest enter upon the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee a land flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh the God of thy fathers hath spoken unto thee.
3 e escreverás nelas todas as palavras desta lei, depois que tiveres passado, para que possas entrar na terra que o SENHOR teu Deus te dá, uma terra que mana leite e mel; como o SENHOR, Deus dos teus pais, te prometeu.
4 So then it shall be when ye shall pass over the Jordan, that ye shall rear up these stones which I am commanding you to-day in Mount Ebal,and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.
4 Portanto, acontecerá que, quando tiverdes passado o Jordão que levantareis essas pedras, que te ordeno neste dia, no monte Ebal, e as rebocareis com cal.
5 And thou shalt build there an altar unto Yahweh thy God,an altar of stones, thou shalt not wield thereupon any tool of iron.
5 E construíras um altar ao SENHOR teu Deus, um altar de pedras; não levantarás nenhum instrumento de ferro sobre elas.
6 Of whole stones, shalt thou build the altar of Yahweh thy God,then shalt thou cause to go up thereon ascending-sacrifices, unto Yahweh thy God;
6 Construíras o altar do SENHOR teu Deus de pedras inteiras; e sobre elas oferecerás ofertas queimadas ao SENHOR teu Deus;
7 and thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings and shalt eat there,and rejoice before Yahweh thy God.
7 e ali oferecerás ofertas pacíficas, e comerás, e te alegrarás diante do SENHOR teu Deus.
8 And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law doing it plainly and well.
8 E escreverás nas pedras todas as palavras desta lei, com muita clareza.
9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel saying,Keep silence and hear O Israel, This day, hast thou been made a people unto Yahweh thy God.
9 E Moisés e os sacerdotes, os levitas, falaram a todo Israel, e disseram: Escuta, e ouve, ó Israel; neste dia te tornas o povo do SENHOR teu Deus.
10 Thou shalt therefore hearken unto the voice of Yahweh thy God,and do his commandments and his statutes, which I am commanding thee to-day.
10 Por isto, obedecerás à voz do SENHOR teu Deus, e cumprirás os seus mandamentos e os seus estatutos, que te ordeno neste dia.
11 And Moses commanded the people on that day, saying:
11 E no mesmo dia Moisés deu ordem ao povo, dizendo:
12 These, shall stand to bless the people upon Mount Gerizim, when ye have passed over the Jordan,Simeon and Levi and Judah, and Issachar and Joseph and Benjamin;
12 Estes estarão sobre o monte Gerizim, para abençoar o povo, quando tiverdes cruzado o Jordão; Simeão, e Levi, e Judá, e Issacar, e José, e Benjamim;
13 and, these, shall stand by the curse in Mount Ebal,Reuben Gad and Asher, and Zebulun Dan and Naphtali.
13 e estes estarão sobre o monte Ebal para amaldiçoar: Rúben, Gade, e Aser, e Zebulom, Dã, e Naftali.
14 Then shall the Levites respond and say unto every man of Israel with voice uplifted:
14 E os levitas falarão, e dirão a todos os homens de Israel em voz alta:
15 Cursed, be the man that maketh an imagecut or moltenan abomination unto Yahweh the work of the hands of the craftsman and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall respond and sayAmen.
15 Maldito seja o homem que fizer alguma imagem de escultura ou de fundição, abominação ao SENHOR, obra da mão do artesão, e a puser em um lugar secreto; e todo o povo responderá, e dirá: Amém.
16 Cursed, be he that holdeth in light esteem his father or his mother. And all the people shall sayAmen.
16 Maldito seja aquele que desprezar seu pai ou sua mãe; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
17 Cured, be he that moveth back the boundary of his neighbour. And all the people shall sayAmen.
17 Maldito seja aquele que remover o marco de seu próximo; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
18 Cursed, be he that causeth the blind to wander in the way. And all the people shall sayAmen.
18 Maldito seja aquele que fizer o cego se desviar do caminho; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
19 Cursed, be he that perverteth the right of the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow. And all the people shall sayAmen.
19 Maldito seja aquele que perverter o juízo do estrangeiro, do órfão e da viúva; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
20 Cursed, be he that lieth with his fathers wife, because he hath turned aside his fathers coverlet. And all the people shall sayAmen.
20 Maldito seja aquele que se deitar com a esposa de seu pai; porque descobriu a nudez de seu pai; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
21 Cursed, be he that lieth with any beast. And all the people shall sayAmen.
21 Maldito seja aquele que se deitar com qualquer tipo de animal; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
22 Cursed, be he that lieth with his sister, daughter of his father or daughter of his mother. And all the people shall sayAmen.
22 Maldito seja aquele que se deitar com sua irmã, a filha de seu pai, ou a filha de sua mãe; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
23 Cursed, be he that lieth with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall sayAmen.
23 Maldito seja aquele que se deitar com sua sogra; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
24 Cursed, be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall sayAmen.
24 Maldito seja aquele que ferir o seu próximo secretamente; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
25 Cursed, be he that taketh a bribe to shed innocent blood. And all the people shall sayAmen.
25 Maldito seja aquele que receber recompensa para matar uma pessoa inocente; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
26 Cursed, be he that establisheth not the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall sayAmen.
26 Maldito seja aquele que não confirmar todas as palavras desta lei, para cumpri-las; e todo o povo dirá: Amém.
