Daniel 8
Rotherham Version (ROTH) vs BKJ
1 In the third year of the reign of Belshazzar the king, a vision, appeared unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the beginning.
1 No terceiro ano do reinado do rei Belsazar, apareceu para mim, Daniel, uma visão, após aquela que me apareceu no princípio.
2 So then I saw, in the vision, and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was in Shusan the fortress, which is in Persia the province,yea I saw it in a vision, when, I, was by the river Ulai.
2 E eu vi em uma visão, e que veio a acontecer; quando eu vi, eu estava no palácio em Susã, que fica na província de Elão; e eu vi em uma visão, e eu estava próximo ao rio de Ulai.
3 So then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and lo! a ram, standing before the river, and, it, had two horns,and, the two horns, were high, but, the one, was higher than the other, and, the higher, had come up, last.
3 Então eu ergui meus olhos, e vi, e eis que estava diante do rio um carneiro que tinha dois chifres; e os dois chifres eram altos; porém um era mais alto do que o outro, e o mais alto surgiu por último.
4 I saw the ram, pushing strongly westward and northward and southward, so that no wild beast could stand before him, and none could deliver out of his hand,but he did according to his own pleasure, and shewed himself great.
4 Eu vi o carneiro avançando para o oeste, para o norte e para o sul, de modo que nenhum animal podia permanecer diante dele, nem havia algum que pudesse livrar-se da sua mão; porém ele agiu conforme a sua vontade, e tornou-se grande.
5 Now, I, was observing, when lo! a he-goat, coming in out of the west, over the face of all the earth, but it meddled not with the earth,and, the goat, had a conspicuous horn between his eyes.
5 E enquanto eu refletia, eis que um bode veio do oeste, sobre a face de toda a terra, e não tocou o chão; e o bode tinha um chifre notável entre os seus olhos.
6 So then he came up to the ram having the two horns, which I had seen, standing before the river,and ran unto him, in the fury of his strength.
6 E ele veio ao carneiro que tinha dois chifres, o qual eu tinha visto em pé perante o rio, e correu para ele na fúria do seu poder.
7 Yea I saw him coming close upon the ram, and he was enraged at him, and smote the ram, and brake in pieces both his horns, and there was no strength in the ram to stand before him,but he cast him down to the ground, and trampled him underfoot, and there was none could deliver the ram out of his power.
7 E eu o vi chegar mais perto do carneiro, e ele estava tomado de fúria contra ele, e golpeou o carneiro, e quebrou os seus dois chifres; e o carneiro não tinha poder para manter-se de pé perante ele, porém ele o arremessou ao chão, e o pisoteou e não houve ninguém que pudesse livrar o carneiro de suas mãos.
8 But, the he-goat, shewed himself very great,and, when he had become mighty, the great horn, was broken in pieces, and there came up afterwards four, in its stead, towards the four winds of the heavens;
8 Por esta razão o bode tornou-se muito grande. E quando ele estava forte, o grande chifre foi quebrado. E no lugar dele surgiram quatro chifres notáveis, em direção aos quatro ventos do céu.
9 and, out of the first of them, came forth a little horn,which became exceedingly great, against the south and against the east, and against the beautiful ;
9 E de um deles surgiu um pequeno chifre, o qual tornou-se excessivamente grande, em direção ao sul, e em direção ao leste, e em direção à terra agradável.
10 yea it became great as far as the host of the heavens,and caused to fall, to the earth, some of the host and some of the stars, and trampled them underfoot;
10 E este tornou-se grande, e chegou até o exército do céu; e ele lançou alguns do exército e das estrelas ao chão, e os pisoteou.
11 even as far as the ruler of the host, shewed he his greatness,and, because of him, was taken away the continual , and the place of the sanctuary, was cast down;
11 Sim, ele engrandeceu-se e chegou até o príncipe do exército, e retirou o sacrifício diário, e o lugar do seu santuário foi arremessado abaixo.
12 and, a host, was set over the continual , by transgression,and faithfulness, was cast down, to the ground, and so he acted with effect, and succeeded.
12 E um exército lhe foi dado contra o sacrifício diário, por causa da transgressão. E ele arremessou a verdade ao chão. E ele praticou e prosperou.
13 Then heard I a certain holy one, speaking,and another holy one said to that certain holy one who was speakingHow long is the vision of the continual as taken away, and the transgression which astoundeth, for both sanctuary and host to be given over to be trampled underfoot?
13 Então eu ouvi um santo falando, e outro santo disse àquele determinado santo que falava: Até quando será a visão concernente ao sacrifício diário e a transgressão da desolação, para dar tanto o santuário quanto o exército para serem pisoteados?
14 And he said unto him, Until two thousand and three hundred evening-mornings,then shall the sanctuary, be vindicated.
14 E ele me disse: Até dois mil e trezentos dias; então o santuário será purificado.
15 And it came to pass, when, I Daniel, had seen the vision,and had sought discernment, that lo! there was standing before me, as the appearance of a man.
15 E isto aconteceu quando eu, Daniel, tive a visão e busquei o significado; e eis que colocou-se diante de mim a aparência de um homem.
16 Then heard I a human voice, between the Ulai,which cried out, and said, Gabriel! cause this man to understand the revelation.
16 E eu ouvi a voz de um homem entre as margens do Ulai, que chamou e disse: Gabriel, faz este homem entender a visão.
17 So he came near where I stood, and, when he came, I was terrified, and fell upon my face,but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man, that, to the time of the end, belongeth the vision.
17 Então, ele aproximou-se de onde eu estava, e quando ele chegou, temi e caí sobre a minha face. Porém ele me disse: Entende, ó filho de homem, pois no tempo do fim será a visão.
18 And, when he spake with me, I fell stunned upon my face, to the earth,but he touched me, and caused me to stand up where I was.
18 Então, enquanto ele falava comigo, eu entrei em um sono profundo com a minha face em terra; porém ele tocou-me e colocou-me em pé.
19 Then said he, Behold me! causing thee to know, that which shall come to pass in the afterpart of the indignation,for, at an appointed time, shall be an end.
19 E ele disse: Eis que te farei saber o que acontecerá no fim da indignação, pois ao tempo determinado será o final.
20 The ram which thou sawest, having the two horns, representeth the kings of Media and Persia;
20 O carneiro que tu viste com dois chifres são os reis da Média e Pérsia.
21 and, the he-goat, is the king of Greece,and, the great horn which was between his eyes, the same, is the first king.
21 E o bode áspero é o rei da Grécia; e o grande chifre que está entre os seus olhos é o primeiro rei.
22 Now, as for its being broken in pieces, whereupon there stood up four in its stead, four kingdoms, out of his nation, shall stand up, but not with his strength;
22 Ora, tendo sido quebrado, enquanto quatro levantaram-se no lugar dele, quatro reinos se levantarão dessa nação, porém não no poder dele.
23 but, in the aftertime of their kingdom, when transgressions, have filled up their measure,there will stand up a king of mighty presence, and skilful in dissimulation;
23 E no último momento do seu reino, quando os transgressores tiverem chegado ao ápice, um rei de semblante violento e que entende sentenças obscuras levantar-se-á.
24 and his strength, will be mighty, but not through his own strength, and, wonderfully, will he destroy, and succeed and act with effect,and will destroy mighty ones, and the people of holy ones;
24 E a sua força será poderosa, porém não pelo seu próprio poder; e ele destruirá de forma espantosa e prosperará, e praticará, e destruirá o povo poderoso e santo.
25 and, by his cunning, will he both cause deceit to succeed in his hand, and, in his own heart, will he shew himself to be great, and, by their careless security, will he destroy many,and, against the ruler of rulers, will he stand up, but, without hand, shall be broken in pieces.
25 E pelo seu entendimento também fará prosperar o engano na sua mão, e ele se engrandecerá em seu coração, e pela paz destruirá muitos; ele também se levantará contra o Príncipe dos príncipes; mas ele será quebrado sem o uso de mão.
26 Now, the revelation of the evening and the morning which hath been told, faithful, indeed it is,but, thou, close up the vision, because it is for many days.
26 E a visão contada, da noite e da manhã, é verdadeira. Portanto, encerra a visão, pois ela será para muitos dias.
27 Now, as for me Daniel, then was I sick for days, but I arose and did the business of the king,and, though I was confounded concerning the revelation, yet could no one discern it.
27 E eu, Daniel, desmaiei, e estive enfermo alguns dias; depois levantei-me e fiz os negócios do rei; e fiquei atônito acerca da visão, porém ninguém a entendeu.
