2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Án yua máh prái tarráih án pôq cớiq máh ticuoi ndon án khoiq mơi dyôn tớq cha arsuoi. Ma máh ticuoi ngki lớiq ính tớq.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Iki án yua prái tarráih cannŏ́h loi pôq, alứng patáp nha-án idô: ‘Inha tông máh ticuoi ndon cư khoiq mơi idô: “Puo he tiráp tiríng cua dyơ dŏq cha arsuoi. Carrŏ́q tangcáh alứng carrŏ́q lơ-lơ plứm ŏ, án khoiq kiac cua dyơ; alứng cứp arnáq la án khoiq thuan cua dyơ. Iki seq mơi inha tớq hớu cha arsuoi.’”
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 “Ma máh ticuoi ndon puo khoiq mơi lớiq cammáng. Nha-án ính lư táq nưm arnáq nha-án sớng. Án ndon pôq táq pidái. Án ndon pôq táiq plới.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Máh ticuoi cannŏ́h cŏp prái tarráih na puo. Nha-án tính alứng cachet hơ.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Iki puo sáng uan lư. Dyơ án yua máh líng án pôq cachet lieh máh ticuoi ndon khoiq cachet prái tarráih án. Alứng máh líng ngki chŏ́ng nhéq vel nha-án.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Dyơ puo arô lieh máh prái tarráih án alứng patáp idô: ‘Arnáq cha arsuoi khoiq tiráp tiríng cua dyơ. Ma máh ticuoi ndon cư khoiq mơi lớiq piaiq tớq hớu cha arsuoi ndô.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Hoi-ngki inha pôq cứp paryéh. Ticuoi mmo inha tumúh, inha mơi ticuoi ngki dyôn tớq hớu cha arsuoi ndô.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Iki máh prái tarráih puo pôq nga carna. Ticuoi mmo nha-án tumúh, nha-án dông ticuoi ngki tớq hớu cha arsuoi puo táq. Nha-án dông máh ticuoi ŏ alứng máh ticuoi lớiq ŏ hơ. Iki tớq callúng ndon puo khoiq thuan dŏq ính cha arsuoi, bôn tot máng ticuoi.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Tư puo mot tớq callúng máh ticuoi tớq hớu arsuoi át, ma án hôm munáq lớiq bôn sứp au ngai báq tớc pôq cha arsuoi.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Dyơ puo yua prái tarráih án idô: ‘Inha chóq dyưng ati ticuoi ndô, alứng ardyóng adúh án te ndô nga ntúq ngiau. Ntúq ngki ngai nhiem cucloiq, alứng caltưat kineng tabang co sáng dieiq arức lư.’”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Dyơ Yê-su tông loi idô: “Bôn clứng ticuoi ndon Yang Arbang-pilŏ́ng khoiq arô, ma bôn biq náq sớng án rêh.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Vít ngki top Pha-rasi pôq tanghúng, dyơ nha-án sisuo ngê ính táq dyôn Yê-su táq-ntêr thét.
15 — ausente —
16 Nha-án yua ticuoi te top nha-án alứng te top Hê-rôt tớq nga Yê-su. Máh ticuoi ngki tông Yê-su idô: “Thới ơi! He chom dyơ thới la ticuoi tinớng. Alứng thới cato piaiq lư te ngê Yang Arbang-pilŏ́ng. Chứng mát thới nhéq máh ticuoi la li-arli. Co iki thới lớiq dyám náp ticuoi bôn chức.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Iki he seq thới tông he. Amớh thới parngíh, piaiq ma lớiq he cóq dyôn práq thêq nga puo Rô-ma?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Ma Yê-su chom nha-án chim án, ính án lớiq chom ôi. Iki án tông ada nha-án idô: “Inha la ticuoi náh-nnan! Imo inha sisuo talíh te cư?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Inha dông dyôn cư me práq thêq ngki!”
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Yê-su plốh nha-án idô: “Rớp ndô alứng tarran ndô arớq nnáu?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Nha-án ôi idô: “Puo Rô-ma.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ndóng nha-án sáng Yê-su ôi iki, nha-án sáng dut lư. Dyơ nha-án ngốh te Yê-su, pôq nga ntúq cannŏ́h loi.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 — ausente —
24 Nha-án tông Yê-su idô: “Thới ơi! Môi-se khoiq taran tông he idô:
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Tớq top he bôn tupul náq em ai. Án ndon ai pông khoiq ial campái. Ma án cuchet iyốh bôn acái. Iki a-em pandi cóq atŏ́ng campái ai.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Alứng muchứng ngki tưi te a-em pandi tingôi a-em tuloiq. Nhéq em ai ngki atŏ́ng campái ai, alứng nha-án cuchet tưi.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Tớq talloiq tháng, cán ngki cuchet tưi.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Tư máh ticuoi cuchet bôn tumống lieh, cán ngki cơt campái nnáu, co nha-án tupul náq em ai bôn ưlla nhéq cán ngki?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yê-su ôi nha-án idô: “Inha táq-ntêr lớiq crái, co inha lớiq chom arlớih te parnai Yang Arbang-pilŏ́ng khoiq taran te inớh, alứng inha lớiq chom díh chức pưt lư na Yang Arbang-pilŏ́ng.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Tư ticuoi cuchet bôn tumống lieh, nha-án lớiq cơt nnáng campái cayieq, ma nha-án cơt muchứng top tarneng Yang Arbang-pilŏ́ng tưi.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
