1 የሱሳ አሱንስ ማህ Ꮉኒ ጋር ያጋእ አዝዘ ኦህዳ።
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 «ጾዘ ካእቱሞ ፋ ናአይስ ዣጋና ጊግዝደ ካት አዛነ።
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 የ ካትዘ ዣጋና ዮኦደ ፋና ኦህ ጋድደ አሱንና ጼጎደስ ፋ አሩንና ኪትዳ። የዝን አሱን ዮኦደስ ኮይካያ።
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 ማህ መለ አሩንና ጼጊ፥ ጼግንትደ አሱንጎ Ꮉንግ፥ ‹ታኒ ታ ሳንጉንናን ሞንና ሹክዳ፤ ኡባና ጊግዳ። ታ ዣጋና ድግሳጎ Ꮉንካ ዮኦተ ያጋኦተ› ያጋእ ኪትዳ።
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 የዝን ጼግንትዱን ጼግቶ እጺ፥ ፋ ኦቻ ኦቻ ቅትዳ። ፈታይ ፋ ዎታስ፥ Ꮉንካይ ፋ ዛልኤ ቅትዳ።
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 መሉን ማህ ካት አሩንና አይኪ፥ ኢሲ Ꮉ ዎዳ።
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 «ካትዘ ጋማ ዥል፥ ፋ ዎታዳሩንና ዳኪ ሸምፖ ዎዱንና ዎዝዳ፥ ኡን ካታምቶ ኤዳ።
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 ይንፓ ሱባ፥ ፋ አሩንጎ፥ ‹ዣጋንታ ጊግዳ፥ የዝን ጼግንትዱን ዣጋናስ ቤዘ አስ ባያ።
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 ይኒ ግሾ፥ ዳልጋ ኦገ Ꮉንግ፥ ደንግደ አስ ኡባ ዣጋና ዮኦደ ፋና ጼጎተ› ያጋይዳ።
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 አሩንን ኦገላ Ꮉንግ ፋስ ደንግደ አስ ኡባ ሎኡንናን ኢቱንና ክእ ዣጋና ዳሰ ገል ኩንዳ።
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 «የዝን ካትዘ ካ ማአደስ በትደ አሱንና በአደስ ገልደ ዎደ ዣጋና አፉላ ማእካይዘ ፈቲ አስ ደንግዳ።
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ኤጎ፥ ‹ናተ፥ ነ ዣጋና አፉላ ማእካይዛራ ዋይዝ Ꮉነ ገልዶ?› ያጋይዳ። የዝን አ ስእ ጋይዳ።
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 «ካትዘ ፋ አሩንጎ፥ ‹Ꮉይ አ ኩሽቶን ቶህቶ አጪ፥ ባለ ማ ኬሲ ኦሎተ። እዘ ዬፎን አች ጋርጭንገ ማቆዳ› ያጋይዳ።
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 «ይኒ ፋናን፥ ጾዘ ካእቱሞስ ጼግንትዱን ጋማ የዝን ዶርንትዱን ኤራ» ያጋይዳ።
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 ይንፓ ሱባ፥ ፋርሳዉን Ꮉንግ፥ የሱሳ ዋይዝ ኦሄራ አይኮድ የዛኮ ዞርንትዳ።

16 ፋ ታማሩንናን ካት ሄሮድሳ ባጉንፓ ፈታ ፈታ ኪትዳ። ኡንትን፥ «አስታማርዛዮ፥ ነ ቱሮ ኦህዛኖ ኑ ኤራነ። ነ አሳፓ አስ ሻጎስ፥ አስ ዎይጋንደስ ጋእ አኮን ኦቾስ፥ ጾዘ ኦግቶ ቱረትራ ታማርሳነ።
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 አነ ኑስ ኦሆ፥ ኑኒ ሮመ ካትስ ጊራ ጊሮደስ ቤዛነን ቤዞሳ?» ያጋይዳ።
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 የዝን የሱሳ ኡን ኢታ ቆፍቶ ኤሪ፥ «Ꮉን ጩቡን፥ ታና አኮስ ፋታነተ?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 ጊራ ጊርዘ ሚሸ ታና ቤዞተ» ያጋይዳ። ኡንትን ኤስ ድናረ ክእዳ።
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ኤ፥ «Ꮉይስ ሱንታን ብሽታ ኦደሶ?» ያጋይዳ።
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 ኡንትን፥ «ሮመ ካታይስ» ያጋይዳ።
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 ኡንትን ይኖ ስእደ ዎደ ጋማ ቆፒ ኤ ካለፓ አሺ ቅትዳ።
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 ይና ቃምተ Ꮉይቆፓ ደንዶ ባያ ያጋዘ ሳዱቃዉን የሱሳጎ ይእ፥ ያጋእ ኤዛ ኦጭዳ።

24 «አስታማርዛዮ፥ ‹ሙሴ፥ ፈቲ አስ ናአ የልካይዛራ Ꮉይቅኮ፥ የ Ꮉይቅደ እሻይ ኤ ማችቶ ኤኪ፥ ፋ እሻይስ ናአ የሎ› ያጋእ ኪትዳ።
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 ኑ ኤርዘ ላፑን እሹን የነ። አንግሰ ማቾ ኤኪ ናአ የልካይዛራ Ꮉይቂዳ። ኤ ማችቶ ኤ ጌዘ ማህዳ።
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 ይኒ ፋና፥ የ ላምአንን፥ Ꮉይንን፥ Ꮉንግ ላፑኑን የሎደስ።
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 ኡባፓ ሱባ ይና ማችታ Ꮉይቂዳ።
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 ዬዝን፥ ላፑኑን ኡቡን እዞ ማህደ ግሾ Ꮉይቆፓ ደንድዘ ቃማ፥ ይና ማችታ ላፑኑንፓ አየ ማቾ ማቃደ?» ያጋይዳ።
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 የሱሳ ማህ፥ «ይን ጾዘ ቃላን ኤ ዎልቅቶ ኤሮሰ ግሾ ባልንታነ።
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 አሱን Ꮉይቆፓ ደንድዘ ዎደ ሳሎ የዘ ኪታንቹን ፋና ማቃነፕ አትን ኤኮስን ገሎስ።
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 ማህ Ꮉይቂደ አሱን Ꮉይቆፓ ደንዶደ ባዝ ጾዚ ይንትስ ኦህዳኖ ናባብካተ?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ጾዚ፥ ‹ታኒ አብራሃማ ጾዝ፥ ይሳቃ ጾዝ፥ ያይቆባ ጾዝ› ያጋይዳ። ይኒ ግሾ፥ ጾዚ ፋጻ የዙን ጾዛፕ አትን Ꮉይቂዱን ጾዝ ባያ» ያጋይዳ።
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 ጋማ አሱን ይኖ ስእ፥ ኤ ትምርትተ ጋማ ቆፕዳ።
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 የሱሳ ሳዱቃዉንስ ጋዉደ ባዝ ብስዳኖ ፋራሳዉን ስእደ ዎደ ፈትላ ሺቅዳ።
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 ኡን ግዳፓ ፈቲ ህገ አስታማርዘ የሱሳ ፋታና ኦጨ ኦጭዳ።
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 «አስታማርዛዮ፥ ህገ ኡባፓ ኣዘ አያ?» ያጋእ ኦጭዳ።
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 የሱሳ ማህ፥ ነ ላ፥ ነ ጾዛ፥ ነ ኩሙ ዎዝናፓ፥ ነ ኩሙ ሸምፖፓ፥ ነ ኩሙ ቆፋፓ ካ።
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 ኡባፓ ኣዘን ቲኖ ኪታ Ꮉኖ።
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 ላምእን ኡባፓ ኣዘ ኪታ፥ አስ ኡባ ነ ኦምቶ ነ ካዛን ፋና ካ ያጋዛኖ።
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 ሙሴ ህገን ናቡን ትምርተ ኡባ Ꮉና ኪትላ አፋ ካታነ ያጋይዳ።
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 ፋርሳዉን ፈትላ ሺቂ የዝን፥ የሱሳ ኡንታና፥
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 «ክርስቶሳ ባዝ ይን ዋጋኤተ? ኤ ኦደ ናአ?» ያጋእ ኦጭዳ።
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 የሱሳ ኡንታጎ፥ «ዬዝን፥ ዳዉተ ጌሽ አያናራ ማቂ ዋይዝ ክርስቶሳ፥ ‹ላ› ጋእ ጼገ? ዳዉተ ጋእተራ፥
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 «ላ ጾዚ፥ ታ ላጎ፥
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ይኬ፥ ዳዉተ ክርስቶሳ ላ ጋእ ጼግኮ፥ ዋይዝ ክርስቶሳ ዳዉተ ናአ ማቀ?
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 የሱሳስ ፈቲ ቃላ ማሆደስ ዳንዳእደ አስ ኦደን ባያ። ማህ ይና ቃምትፓ ደን መለ ኦጨ ኦጮደስ ኦደን ዳንዳእካያ።
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
