1 The work Solomon did on Jehovahs Temple was finished. He brought the holy things that had belonged to his father David, the silver, gold, and all the utensils. He put them in the storerooms of Gods Temple.
1 Assim, foi terminada toda a obra que Salomão fez para a casa do SENHOR; e Salomão trouxe para dentro todas as coisas que Davi, o seu pai consagrou; e a prata, e o ouro, e todos os instrumentos, ele colocou entre os tesouros da casa de Deus.
2 Then Solomon assembled the respected leaders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes, and the leaders of the Israelite families. They came to Jerusalem to take the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah from the City of David, which is Zion.
2 Então, Salomão reuniu em Jerusalém os anciãos de Israel, e todos os cabeças das tribos, os chefes dos pais dos filhos de Israel, para fazer subir a arca do pacto do SENHOR da cidade de Davi, que é Sião.
3 The men of Israel gathered around the king at the Festival of Booths in the seventh month.
3 Porquanto todos os homens de Israel se reuniram diante do rei na festa, que era no sétimo mês.
4 When all the leaders of Israel had arrived, the Levites picked up the ark.
4 E todos os anciãos de Israel vieram, e os levitas ergueram a arca.
5 They brought the Ark, the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy utensils in it to the Temple. The priests and the Levites carried them
5 E trouxeram a arca e o tabernáculo da congregação, e todos os vasos sagrados que estavam no tabernáculo, e os sacerdotes e os levitas é que os fizeram subir.
6 while King Solomon and the whole assembly from Israel were offering countless sheep and cattle sacrifices in front of the Ark.
6 Então o rei Salomão, e toda a congregação de Israel, que estava reunida a ele diante da arca, sacrificaram ovelhas e bois, os quais não podiam ser contados ou enumerados por causa da sua multidão.
7 The priests brought Jehovahs Ark of the Covenant to its place in the inner room of the Temple, the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubim angels.
7 E os sacerdotes trouxeram para dentro a arca do pacto do SENHOR até o seu lugar, ao oráculo da casa, ao lugar santíssimo, bem debaixo das asas dos querubins;
8 The cherubim angels outstretched wings were over the place where the Ark rested so that the cherubim became a covering above the Ark and its poles.
8 porque os querubins estendiam as suas asas sobre o lugar da arca, e os querubins cobriam, pelo alto, a arca e as suas hastes.
9 The poles were so long that their ends could be seen in the holy place by anyone standing in front of the inner room. However they could not be seen outside. They are still there today.
9 E eles removeram as hastes da arca, de forma que as extremidades das hastes eram vistas da arca na frente do oráculo; mas elas não eram vistas na parte de fora. E ali ela está até este dia.
10 There was nothing in the Ark except the two tablets Moses placed there at Horeb, where Jehovah made a covenant with the Israelites after they left Egypt.
10 Não havia nada na arca, salvo as duas tábuas que Moisés colocou nela em Horebe, quando o SENHOR fez um pacto com os filhos de Israel, quando eles saíram do Egito.
11 All the priests who were present had performed the ceremonies to make themselves holy to God without regard to staying in their divisions.
11 E sucedeu que, quando os sacerdotes saíram do santo lugar; (pois todos os sacerdotes que estavam presentes foram santificados, e, portanto, não observaram a sua equipe;
12 All the Levites who were musicians: Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, their sons, and their relatives were dressed in fine linen and stood east of the altar with cymbals, harps, and lyres. With the musicians were one hundred and twenty priests blowing trumpets. When the priests left the holy place,
12 também os levitas que eram os cantores, todos de Asafe, de Hemã, de Jedutum, com os seus filhos e seus irmãos, estando vestidos em linho branco, tendo címbalos e saltérios e harpas, ficaram na extremidade leste do altar, e com eles cento e vinte sacerdotes soando trombetas);
13 the trumpeters and singers praised and thanked Jehovah in unison. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other musical instruments, they sang in praise to Jehovah: »He is good; his mercy lovingkindness endures forever.« Then Jehovahs Temple was filled with a cloud.
13 sucedeu que, enquanto os trombeteiros e os cantores eram como um, para fazer um som para ser ouvido em louvor e gratidão ao SENHOR; e levantando eles a voz com trombetas, címbalos, e com outros instrumentos musicais, e louvaram ao SENHOR, dizendo: Pois ele é bom; porque a sua misericórdia dura para sempre; que, então, a casa foi enchida por uma nuvem, a saber, a casa do SENHOR;
14 The priests could not serve because of the cloud. Jehovahs glory filled the Temple of God.
14 de tal modo que os sacerdotes não conseguiam ficar de pé para ministrar em razão da nuvem; pois a glória do SENHOR encheu a casa de Deus.
