1 Ɛ Jisos bvuu no jemyi ɛ̂ bó ɛ̂ boŋgan e, ɛ wvumvu no nu lɛ,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Bvunfon bvu fowe nu ɛ ɛ̀ nulo ɛ́ bó efewsɛn bô nfon mvu wvù to seysɛɛ ŋkaw bvujen bvu waa we wvù diemsɛn e.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Ɛ wvú ke tum bonceendaa bew lɛ bó egɛn etooy bonyii bò wvú to beɛ bó bô ŋkaw bvujen wvudvu lɛ bó etoò. Geenɛn, ɛ bonceendaa bodvu gɛn ɛ bonyii bodvu faŋɛ yaa to kɛ.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Ɛ wvú tum bomew bonceendaa gay ɛ̂ bó lɛ, ‘Ben egɛn ejeme ɛ̂ bonyii bò me nse mbeɛ bô ŋkaw bvujen wvun lɛ bó eyekɛ eyuw, me nu ɛ nseyse wase mwɛɛm mvudien, ɛ ŋgbwo binsoŋ bi nyám e bô boom bo bona' le bò faŋkɛn. Me nu ɛ nseyse wase mwɛɛm mvunciim, lɛ bó etoò lɛ fô ŋkaw e.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Geenɛn, ɛ bó gɛn ɛ bonyii bodvu case lo, nɛ fibole no gɛne. Ɛ wee mvu laa wɛne dvu wvú, ɛ wee mvu laa way we.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Ɛ kebɛse ke bonyii le kooyɛ bonceendaa bodvu nyɛwle bô bó, mum yuwyɛ bó.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Ɛ fitele bɛnte nfon wvudvu, ɛ wvú ciinse bonyii bew bo jem e, ɛ bó gɛn lɛse lo bonyii bò yuwyɛɛ bonceendaa bew, mum ton kelaante kebole.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 No wvú ge nonɛn, mum gay ɛ̂ bonceendaa bew bomew lɛ, ‘Me nu ɛ nseyse wase ŋkaw bvujen. Geenɛn bonyii bò me nse mbeɛ ba se baa nu naa lo bonyii kɛ.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Ben egɛn ntasɛn jé le yicii, ebe bonyii bocii bò ben ɛ yɛn, lɛ bó eto fô ŋkaw bvujen wvun e.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ɛ bonceendaa bodvu mum buy gɛn jé le yicii, kum bonyii bocii bò bó to yɛnɛɛ, bonyii bò jee bô bò befe to dvú. Ɛ yew bvujen mum yiŋsɛn bô bonyii.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Ɛ nfon ke nɛ ley yew bvujen yidvu le keeyɛn bonyii bò to toɛ fô ŋkaw e, mum yɛn wee mvu le dvú ɛ wvú baa jise ndvú ŋkaw bvujen kɛ.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Ɛ wvú bife ɛ̂ wvú lɛ, ‘Nsaa yɛm, wo ghan nɛɛ ɛ sɛ ley dvun sɛ ndvú ŋkaw?’ Ɛ wee wvudvu mɛy diuw tfu.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Nonɛn, ɛ nfon mum gay ɛ̂ bonceendaa bew lɛ, ‘Ben ekay can ye noo bikaa, etfume wvú ɛ̂ ɛjiwɛ le ɛkfuŋ, jò bonyii nu ke ebeele ŋgeci bigew.’”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 No Jisos jeme nonɛn, mum gay lɛ, “Ben ekeè lɛ Nyo' nu ɛ be bonyii nteen, geenɛn ɛ caw kɛ caan.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Ɛ Bofalasii mum nɛ gɛn seyse no bó nu ege ɛ́ Jisos sɛ lowsɛn njeme ɛ́ bó ekoo wvú.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Kɛ see ɛ̂ bese wo ŋkpwawcɛ. Nci nu ɛ bee lɛ beene elaaŋke shile ɛ̂ Kaysa, nuu fo bó elaaŋke lɛ?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Ɛ Jisos kiɛɛ fiɛɛ fì bó wɛɛntene bô fí, mum gay ɛ̂ bó lɛ, “Ben bonyii bò jemyi jɛɛy, gee jɛɛy ban, ben teeyi me nje la?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Ben eto bô bigew bì ben ké no laaŋke shile dvú ɛ́ me en'yɛn.” Ɛ bó to bô danali, nya ɛ̂ wvú.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Ɛ Jisos bife ɛ̂ bó lɛ, “Ɛkolɛ kin kè nu yî dvú le nu ke yɛɛ le? Ɛ diee nu di yɛɛ le?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Ɛ bó tfuse lɛ, “Ɛ̀ nu ke Kaysa le, ɛ diee nu kɛ tɛn diew.” Ɛ wvú mum gay ɛ̂ bó lɛ, “Ben emum enyaà lɛ ɛ̂ Kaysa fiɛɛ fì ɛ̀ nu fi Kaysa le, nyaà ɛ̂ Nyo' fì ɛ̀ nu fi Nyo' le.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ɛ bó yuw nonɛn, ɛ diuw yum lo bó. Ɛ bó mum cinɛ wvú le nɛ no gɛne.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Kɛ ɛbvubwɛ, ɛ Bosadusii nɛ to fô Jisos e. Bosadusii nu ŋgoo bonyii bò to ké no duu lɛ kɛ bonyii nu ke ebuy yî kpwe le kɛ. No bó toɛ, mum bife ɛ̂ Jisos lɛ,

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.

27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Nonɛn keseen no bó bocii bosooshwiy to nu ɛ jo kpwoon wvudvu, ɛ̀ nu ke edioo enu seke bonyii buyte yî kpwe le, ɛ́ kpwoon wvudvu enu kpwɛɛ yɛɛ?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Ɛ Jisos tfuse ɛ̂ bó lɛ, “Ben nu ɛ jay baay, ɛ ɛ̀ nu njefo kɛ ben kee fiɛɛ fì bó saŋ ɛ̂ Ŋwa' Nyo' le kɛ. Ɛ ben yaa kee tɛn mvuŋgay mvu Nyo' le kɛ.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Ben ekeè lɛ ɛ̀ nu ke enu seke bonyii buyte yî kpwe le, kɛ bolemsɛ bô bokɛnɛ bɛɛ ke ebvuu etaashi bvujen kɛ, ɛ bonyii yaa bɛɛ ke ebvuu enyaa boom ɛ bó taashi bvujen kɛ. Bó nu ke enu wase kɛ diɛwɛ bonceendaa bo Nyo' le fowe.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Ɛ̀ dioo nu fi ɛkumɛ mbuy wvù bonyii nu ke ebuy yî kpwe le, ben ke baa taŋ wase Ŋwa' Nyo' yuw fiɛɛ fì wvú jemyi ɛ̂ ben e? Nyo' to nu ɛ gay lɛ,
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘Ɛ̀ nu me Nyo' Abla'am bô Nyo' Aysik noo Nyo' Yakow.’ Fì nu lɛ kɛ Nyo' nu Nyo' boŋkfu kɛ, ɛ̀ nu Nyo' bonyii bò nu dvú.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Ɛ wee mvu bó le wvù to looci kee bonci bo Nyo' le, mum telɛ wvú bô mbife mvu lɛ,
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “Wee n'yɛɛyi, nci wvù kuuke fele bonci bocii nu wvù la?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Ɛ Jisos tfuse ɛ̂ wvú lɛ, “Nci wvù kuuke nu wvù gayte lɛ, ‘Ɛ̀ kooŋkè Tata wvù Nyo' wo bô fitele fiuw ficii, enya ɛkolɛ kuw ɛ̂ wvú kecii, egɛɛ bvufee bwuw yî ye le bvucii.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Wvuwvun nu nci wvu fwe wvù kuuke fele bonci bocii.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Ɛ wvù bii wvú le nu kɛ diɛwɛ wvuwɛ le. Ɛ wvú nu lɛ, ‘Ɛ̀ kooŋkè waa bwoo no wo kooŋke ɛkolɛ kuw.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Mwɛɛm mvunciim mvù nu ɛ̂ Ŋwa' bonci le, noo mvù nu ɛ̂ Boŋwa' bo bonyii bo ntum Nyo' le, leeme ɛ ɛ̀ nu yî bonci bo bofɛɛ ban e.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 No Bofalasii to nu ɛ bó taashɛ fó, ɛ Jisos mum nɛ bife mbife mvu ɛ̂ bó lɛ,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Ben kpwaake lɛ la ɛkumɛ Mboyse wvù Nyo' to kawɛɛ? Ben kpwaake lɛ ɛ̀ nu waa yɛɛ?” Ɛ bó tfuse ɛ̂ wvú lɛ, “Ɛ̀ nu waa Nfon Dawe.”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Ɛ Jisos kase bife ɛ̂ bó lɛ, “No ɛ̀ nu waa Nfon Dawe, ɛ fí ghan nɛɛ ɛ Keyoy ke Yuule sɛ ge ɛ Dawe no teŋe wvú lɛ Tata wen? Dawe to nu ɛ jeme lɛ,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Tata Nyo' to nu ɛ gay ɛ̂ Tata wɛm lɛ
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Ɛ́ Dawe fɛn teŋe wvú lɛ Tata wen, ɛ́ wvú ebvuu eghan nɛɛ sɛ no nu waa we?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 No Jisos jeme nɛn, ɛ wee faŋɛ yaa nu dvú mwaaŋ wvù etfuse fiɛɛ ɛ̂ wvú kɛ. Ɛ kɛw tɛn ɛbvubwɛ le, ɛ wee faŋɛ yaa ke ebvuu emom lo ebife fiɛɛ ɛ̂ wvú kɛ.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
