1 Pedro 2
ncf (NCF) vs VC
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Amuina gim se atii ma lasi xan sen mamainaang Orong sin gita.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Gim se xaalame sangan Iesu Karisito, iwaa ta malen aia xaat ta tino, no inaman di ta palolii oro xan xos so Moroaa ma a xanei ia.
4 — ausente —
5 Gim bula gim malen aia xaat ta tino, iwaa Moroaa tii tumaraa abia anua ina Nantanua taman abia no xaat. Biaa Moroaa bula ta apati gim ngali tsap malen xan no unsausawit ngali tabiel taman no tsutsungit ina Nantanua, biaa, Moroaa ta siriwaa sin Iesu Karisito.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Amuina lalon Inaatel Pat a paare,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Talaawaa sin gim ta taltaalnge, ilawaa xaat ia iwaa xos so. Oro sin abia di, di ta xap taltaalnge Inaatel Pat tii paare:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Ma Moroaa tii paare bula lalon Aisaia,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Oro ngali gim Moroaa a se xanei gim. Gim xan no unsausawit Moroaa iwaa King. Gim inaman labalaba pat, xan inaman Moroaa. Moroaa a xosaraa abala ngali gim ba asaaiti biaa inaman taman no maarang axaau ta xosaraa ngali gim, iwaa ta ilei atsuulngi gim xaal nan lodo, laa lalon xan laleng ina minaalam ta matmirmir.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Setauan gim tii xap tsap xan xumul no inaman, oro talaawaa gim se tsap xan no inaman Moroaa. Ti laamua tsaa gim tii xap tsiili xan biirbirum Moroaa, oro talaawaa gim se tsiili xan biirbirum Moroaa.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Nugu no taamat, gim na adodomi we gim xibong atala ma balawaa xolkolmoxo a xap nagim xobel so. Biaabi iaa we ina atsuraa awatwati gim ngali gim na xap xosaraa no maarang tsaxa biaa gim ta saaen gim ngali xosaraa amuina biaa no maarang nagim no matenkorot.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Gim na arongi nagim xalkale labatina no muun taltaalnge ngali gim na axaau ma tutiik, di ba atuti gim we, gim xosaraa namaang tsaxa, oro nawe di lasi nagim no namaang axaau, di ba aminaalami Moroaa sin leng ta xaalame ngali ininte sin inaman.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Gim xan no inaman Orong Iesu Karisito, gim na suk amusili no unbanam, di ta ie banam papan gim, a laa sin king taman xaraxin banam.
13 — ausente —
14 O laa sin no gawana iwaa king ta tulen di ngali asosongi biaa di ta xoxosaraa namaang tsaxa ma ngali tali mangmangle sin biaa di ta xoxosaraa namaang axaau.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Amuina xan sirsiir Moroaa ngali gita na xoxosaraa namaang axaau, ngalibi gim ba suk abongi xadi totore no untangtangabaa biaa di ta xap atii soina.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Gim na tino malen no inaman iwaa Karisito ta se aleiwaa di, oro gim na xap xosaraa nagim leiwaa malen xolot xuxii ngali xosaraa no namaang morokon. Gim na tino malen xan no untutule Moroaa.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Gim na asen namaang ina mangmangle sin no daan inaman ma gim na titii buxaai nagim no taamat biaa no untaltaalnge ma gim na mataatinai Moroaa, ma gim na tali mangmangle sin aia xaraxin king.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 No untutule, gim na adokdoki gim tsaa paina nagim no manmanel taman mangmangle ma gim na mataatinai Moroaa ma na xap mu abia di ta axaau ma mangmagus oro na laa bula sin biaa di ta tsaxa.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Amuina biaa namaang ta axaau nan no matan Moroaa, biaa xa taamat ta sirawaa abia sosong, amuina adodomi we Moroaa a manman mii ia.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Nawe di ririiti gim, sin gim ta xosaraa namaang tsaxa ma gim ga xale adamis lalon abala sosong a xap muina ngali Moroaa naba taton sin gim. Ma nawe di ririiti gim sin gim ta xosaraa axaau ma gim ga xale adamis lalon abia sosong naba suk axaau buxa nan no matan Moroaa.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Moroaa a ilei gim ngali alet sosong sin abala sal, amuina Karisito tii alet sosong ngali gim ma ga asen sal sin gim ngali es amusili no baan xaden.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 “Iesu Karisito tii xap xosaraa xa namaang tsaxa,
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 A xap xisi xadi no papaare tsaxa di ie atsaxati ia, biaa di tii asosongi ia, a xap paare we naba asosongi di. Oro a papaalii abia no maarang nan no liman iwaa xa tii ininte taman inatutiik.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Ia tsaa adi xida no namaang tsaxa papan tongol ngalibi, gita ba pupua ngali met so sin namaang tsaxa ma gita na tino ngali namaang tutiik sin xan no toto Iesu gim se toaa.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Amuina gim malen sipsip ta se es tangtangabaa oro talaawaa gim se mula xaalame sin Iesu iwaa untilaamamil ina nagim no nantanuaan.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
