2 having witnessed your pure conversation {carried out} in fear;
3 Nayyaꞌoy nayyajpa̱a̱dʉdʉ. Kyajts yʉꞌʉ nꞌandijy es xymyʉmay xymyʉda̱jtʉt ja mwit mgʉꞌʉgʉ jantsy oybyʉ, o wiꞌixʉ mwa̱a̱y mgʉba̱jkkʉjxy xyajtsujtʉ́kʉdʉt, o wiꞌix ja mniniꞌx oy kyʉxʉꞌʉgʉt mʉdʉ oorʉ.
3 whose adorning let it not be that outward one of tressing of hair, and wearing gold, or putting on apparel;
4 Ja tsujꞌa̱jtʉn diꞌibʉ kyaj ñaxy es niꞌigʉ tsobatp Dios wyindum, jaꞌa yʉꞌʉ ko ja̱ꞌa̱y oyjyot oywyinma̱ꞌa̱ñ tmʉdattʉ es jyikyꞌattʉ yuunk naxypyʉ.
4 but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible {ornament} of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price.
5 Pes dʉꞌʉn ñayyaꞌijtʉdʉ tsuj ja wa̱ꞌa̱tspʉ toxytyʉjk jékyʉp, wyindsʉꞌkʉdʉ ja Dios es ñaydyukkʉdʉjkʉdʉ ja ñaꞌay.
5 For thus also the holy women who have hoped in God heretofore adorned themselves, being subject to their own husbands;
6 Dʉꞌʉnʉ Saarʉ, yʉ Abra̱a̱nʉ ñʉdoꞌoxy, tmʉmʉdooy ja Abra̱a̱n, es ttijy “nwindsʉ́n”. Miits mja̱ꞌttʉp dʉꞌʉn éxtʉmʉ Saarʉ pʉn mduundʉp ja oybyʉ es kyaj ti xytsyʉꞌʉgʉdʉt.
6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord; whose children ye have become, doing good, and not fearing with any kind of consternation.

Tundʉ dʉꞌʉn, es net kʉdiibʉ ni tii mgaꞌꞌadsípʉdʉt ko mga̱jxta̱ꞌa̱ktʉt.
7 {Ye} husbands likewise, dwell with {them} according to knowledge, as with a weaker, {even} the female, vessel, giving {them} honour, as also fellow-heirs of {the} grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.
8 Diꞌibʉts ʉj tʉ njatukꞌʉxpʉka̱ꞌa̱ndʉ nidʉgekyʉ miidsʉty diꞌibʉ myʉbʉjktʉp ja Kristʉ, yʉꞌʉ tya̱a̱dʉ: Ittʉ tiꞌigyʉ, naymyʉmaꞌxtúkʉdʉ nixim niyam, naydsyókʉdʉ nixim niyam mʉt winʉ mjot, paꞌꞌayowdʉ ja̱ꞌa̱y, es tudaꞌakyꞌáttʉ.

9 Ni na̱ꞌa̱ xykyayajjʉmbíttʉt axʉʉk ko pʉ́n axʉʉk mdúnʉdʉt, es ni xykyaꞌoojʉmbíttʉt ko pʉ́n mꞌoojʉdʉt. Nik niꞌigʉ kunuꞌxtʉ, mʉt ko Dios mwoojʉdʉ es xyꞌaxá̱jʉdʉt yʉ kunuꞌxʉn.
9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary, blessing {others}, because ye have been called to this, that ye should inherit blessing.
10 Extʉm jyʉnaꞌañ ja Diosʉ jyaaybyajtʉn:
10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.
11 kyaj tꞌoktuunnʉt ja axʉkꞌa̱jtʉn; jaꞌa tyúnʉp ja oybyʉ,
11 And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it;
12 Mʉt ko Dios tam kywentʉꞌátyʉty ja ja̱ꞌa̱y diꞌibʉ jikyꞌa̱jtp tʉyꞌa̱jtʉn mʉʉt,
12 because {the} eyes of {the} Lord {are} on {the} righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but {the} face of {the} Lord {is} against them that do evil.
13 Pʉn amumduꞌuk jot miidsʉty dʉꞌʉñʉm xytyundʉ oy tʉgékyʉty, ¿pʉ́n axʉʉk mdúnʉdʉp?
13 And who shall injure you if ye have become imitators of that which {is} good?
14 Per pʉn mꞌayoodʉp mʉt ko mjikyꞌattʉ wa̱ꞌa̱ts, Dios mgunuꞌxánʉdʉp. Katʉ pʉ́n xytsyʉꞌʉgʉdʉ es katʉ mmay mda̱jtʉ.
14 E até sereis felizes, se padecerdes alguma coisa por causa da justiça!
15 Mʉt winʉ mjot awdattʉ Kristʉ éxtʉmʉ mWindsʉ́n. Dʉꞌʉñʉm jʉjpꞌíxy mnayyaꞌítʉdʉt es xyꞌadsówdʉt pʉnaty myajtʉʉjʉdʉp ti ko xymyʉbʉktʉ Dios, es ti mꞌawijx mjʉjpꞌijxtʉp.
15 Portanto, não temais as suas ameaças e não vos turbeis. Antes santificai em vossos corações Cristo, o Senhor. Estai sempre prontos a responder para vossa defesa a todo aquele que vos pedir a razão de vossa esperança, mas fazei-o com suavidade e respeito.
16 Mʉdattʉ ja mjot mwinma̱ꞌa̱ñ wa̱ꞌa̱ts, es dʉꞌʉn ko pʉ́n mniwa̱a̱mbátʉdʉt nanatʉkʉ mʉt ko miits mꞌʉxpʉjkpʉꞌátyʉty ja Kristʉ, yʉꞌʉjʉty kʉꞌʉm wʉꞌʉmda̱ꞌa̱ydyʉp tsoydyuꞌun mʉʉt.
16 Tende uma consciência reta a fim de que, mesmo naquilo em que dizem mal de vós, sejam confundidos os que desacreditam o vosso santo procedimento em Cristo.
17 Es pʉn dʉꞌʉnʉ Dios ttseky es mꞌayówdʉt, niꞌigʉ ꞌyóyʉty mꞌayówdʉt ko mjikyꞌattʉ wa̱ꞌa̱ts, es kyaj mꞌayówdʉt mʉt ja tʉydyuꞌunʉn ko mjikyꞌattʉ axʉʉk.
17 Aliás, é melhor padecer, se Deus assim o quiser, por fazer o bem do que por fazer o mal.
18 Mʉt ko Kristʉ, oy ni ti peky tkatuuñ, tʉgok jeꞌeyʉ mʉt winʉ xʉʉ winʉ tiempʉ ꞌyeꞌky ma̱ jyapatʉ nꞌoꞌkʉm ʉdsa̱jtʉm pekyjyaꞌayʉty, es xytyukniwátsʉm ja nbojpʉꞌa̱jtʉm es xyajnʉjxʉm wa̱ꞌa̱ts Dios wyindum. Oj ꞌyeeky ja Jesusʉ ñiniꞌx, per Espíritʉ Santʉkyʉjxm jyikypyejky.
18 Pois também Cristo morreu uma vez pelos nossos pecados - o Justo pelos injustos - para nos conduzir a Deus. Padeceu a morte em sua carne, mas foi vivificado quanto ao espírito.
19 Mʉdʉ ꞌyanmʉja̱ꞌa̱n oj ñejxy ma̱ ja anmʉja̱ꞌa̱nʉty diꞌibʉ tsimy ijttʉp, es jap oj tka̱jxwaꞌxy ja Diosʉ ꞌyayuk,
19 É neste mesmo espírito que ele foi pregar aos espíritos que eram detidos no cárcere, àqueles que outrora, nos dias de Noé, tinham sido rebeldes,
20 ja anmʉja̱ꞌa̱n diꞌibʉ kyaj tmʉmʉdoodʉ ko Dios jyaꞌꞌawijxʉdʉ maꞌxtujkʉn mʉʉt esxyʉp jyodʉmbijttʉ ma̱a̱nʉm ja Noꞌee naty dyaꞌoyʉ ja arkʉ, ma̱ oj jeꞌeyʉ niduktujk ja ja̱ꞌa̱y tsyoꞌoktʉ ko ja ayoꞌonduu myiiñ.
20 quando Deus aguardava com paciência, enquanto se edificava a arca, na qual poucas pessoas, isto é, apenas oito se salvaram através da água.
21 Ja tadʉ nʉʉ, dʉꞌʉn jaꞌa tpaty éxtʉmʉ nʉbajtʉn diꞌibʉ xyajnitsókʉm. Ja nʉbajtʉn, kyaj yʉꞌʉjʉty es nʉʉgyʉjxm ja niniꞌx wya̱ꞌa̱tsʉt, jaꞌa dʉꞌʉn esʉ ja̱ꞌa̱y jyot wyinma̱ꞌa̱ñ wa̱ꞌa̱ts ꞌyíttʉt Dios wyindum. Ja nʉbajtʉngyʉjxm nnitsókʉm jaꞌagyʉjxm ko Jesukristʉ jyikypyeky ma̱ ꞌyeꞌky,
21 Esta água prefigurava o batismo de agora, que vos salva também a vós, não pela purificação das impurezas do corpo, mas pela que consiste em pedir a Deus uma consciência boa, pela ressurreição de Jesus Cristo.
22 diꞌibʉ patʉjkʉ tsa̱jpótm es tyam ꞌyity aga̱ꞌa̱ñdsyoo ma̱ Dios, es oytyim diꞌibʉ ánklʉsʉty es oytyim diꞌibʉty ja kyutujkʉnʉty tmʉmʉdowdʉ ja Jesús.
22 Esse Jesus Cristo, tendo subido ao céu, está assentado à direita de Deus, depois de ter recebido a submissão dos anjos, dos principados e das potestades.
