1 And the sons of Israel according to their number, the chief fathers and commanders of thousands and hundreds, and their officers who served the king in any matter of the divisions, who came in and went out month by month for all the months of the year, [were] twenty-four thousand of every division.
1 Ora, os filhos de Israel segundo o seu número, os chefes das casas paternas, e os chefes dos milhares e das centenas, com os seus oficiais, que serviam ao rei em todos os negócios das turmas que entravam e saíam de mês em mês, em todos os meses do ano, eram em cada turma vinte e quatro mil.
2 Over the first division for the first month [was] Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.
2 sobre a primeira turma, no primeiro mês, estava Jasobeão, filho de Zabdiel; e em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
3 Of the sons of Perez [was] the chief of all the commanders of the army for the first month.
3 Era ele descendente de Pérez, e chefe de todos os comandantes do exército para o primeiro mês.
4 And over the division of the second month [was] Dodai the Ahohite, and of his division Mikloth [was] also the ruler. In his division also [were] twenty-four thousand.
4 Sobre a turma do segundo mês estava Dodai, o aoíta, com a sua turma, cujo chefe era Miclote; e em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
5 The third commander of the army for the third month [was] Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.
5 O terceiro comandante do exército, para o terceiro mês, era o chefe Benaías, filho do sacerdote Jeoiada; e em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
6 This [is that] Benaiah who [was] mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty. And in his division [was] Ammizabad his son.
6 Este é aquele Benaías que era o varão valente entre os trinta e comandava os trinta; e da sua turma era seu filho Amizabade.
7 The fourth for the fourth month [was] Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.
7 O quarto, do quarto mês, era Asael, irmão de Joabe, e depois dele Zebadia; seu filho; e em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
8 The fifth commander for the fifth month [was] Shamhuth the Izrahite. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.

9 The sixth for the sixth month [was] Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.

10 The seventh for the seventh month [was] Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.
10 O sétimo, do sétimo mês:, Helez, o pelonita, descendente de Efraim; e em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
11 The eighth for the eighth month [was] Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.
11 O oitavo, do oitavo mês, Sibecai, o husatita, dos zeraítas; e em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
12 The ninth for the ninth month [was] Abiezer the Anethothite, of the Benjamites. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.

13 The tenth for the tenth month [was] Maharai of Netopha, of the Zerahites. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.

14 The eleventh for the eleventh month [was] Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.

15 The twelfth for the twelfth month [was] Heldai of Netopha, of Othniel. And in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.

16 And over the tribes of Israel, the ruler of the Reubenites [was] Eliezer the son of Zichri. The ruler of the Simeonites [was] Shephatiah the son of Maachah.
16 Sobre as tribos de Israel estavam estes: sobre os rubenitas era chefe Eliézer, filho de Zicri; sobre os simeonitas, Sefatias, filho de Maacá;
17 The ruler of the Levites was Hashabiah the son of Kemuel; over the Aaronites [was] Zadok.
17 sobre os levitas, Hasabias, filho de Quemuel; sobre os aronitas, Zadoque;
18 Over Judah [was] Elihu, of the brothers of David. The ruler of Issachar [was] Omri the son of Michael.

19 The ruler of Zebulun [was] Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah. The ruler of Naphtali [was] Jerimoth the son of Azriel.

20 The ruler of the sons of Ephraim [was] Hoshea the son of Azaziah. The ruler of the half tribe of Manasseh [was] Joel the son of Pedaiah.

21 The ruler of the [half] tribe of Manasseh in Gilead [was] Iddo the son of Zechariah. The ruler of Benjamin [was] Jaasiel the son of Abner.

22 [The ruler] of Dan [was] Azareel the son of Jeroham. These [were] the rulers of the tribes of Israel.

23 But David did not take the number of those from twenty years old and under, because the LORD had said [He would] increase Israel like the stars of the heavens.

24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he did not finish because wrath fell against the sons of Israel for this. And the number did not go up in the account of the chronicles of King David.
24 Joabe, filho de Zeruia, tinha começado a numerá-los, porém não acabou, porquanto viera por isso ira sobre Israel; pelo que o número não foi posto no livro das crônicas do rei Davi.
25 And over the king's treasures [was] Azmaveth the son of Adiel. And over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the strongholds, [was] Jehonathan the son of Uzziah.
25 Sobre os tesouros do rei estava Azmavete, filho de Adiel; sobre os tesouros dos campos, das cidades, das aldeias e das torres, Jônatas, filho de Uzias;
26 Ezri the son of Chelub [was] over the work of the field for farming the ground.
26 sobre os que faziam a obra do campo, na lavoura da terra, Ezri, filho de Quelube;
27 And over the vineyards [was] Shimei of Ramah. Over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars [was] Zabdi the Shiphmite.
27 sobre as vinhas, Simei, o ramatita; sobre o produto das vides nas adegas do vinho, Zabdi, o sifmita;
28 And over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that [were] in the low plains [was] Baal-hanan of Geder. And over the cellars of oil [was] Joash.
28 sobre os olivais e sicômoros que havia nas campinas, Baal-Hanã, o gederita; sobre os armazéns do azeite, Joás;
29 And over the herds that fed in Sharon [was] Shitrai of Sharon. And over the herds in the valleys [was] Shaphat the son of Adlai.
29 sobre o gado que pastava em Sarom, Sitrai, o saronita; sobre o gado dos vales, Safate, filho de Adlai;
30 Over the camels also [was] Obil the Ishmaelite. And over the asses [was] Jehdeiah the Meronothite.
30 sobre os camelos, Obil, o ismaelita; sobre as jumentas, Jedeías, o meronotita;
31 And over the flocks [was] Jaziz the son of Hagar. All these [were] the rulers of the substance which [was] King David's.
31 e sobre o gado miúdo, Jaziz, o hagrita. Todos esses eram os intendentes dos bens do rei Davi.
32 And Jonathan, David's uncle, [was] an adviser, a wise man and a scribe. And Jehiel the son of Hachmoni [was] with the king's sons.
32 Jônatas, tio de Davi, era conselheiro, homem entendido, e escriba; ele e Jeiel, filho de Hacmôni, assistiam os filhos do rei;
33 And Ahithophel [was] the king's counselor. And Hushai the Archite [was] the king's companion.
33 Aitofel era conselheiro do rei; Husai, o arquita, era amigo o rei;
34 And after Ahithophel [was] Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. And the general of the king's army [was] Joab.
34 depois de Aitotel, Jeoiada, filho de Benaías, e Abiatar foram conselheiros; e Joabe era chefe do exército do rei.
