1 Pedro 2
Ta lə Lubə Kunmindɨ kɨ́ Sigɨ (MGE) vs VC
1 Beɓa né lay kɨ́ to kullə mḛḛndul, kɨ̀ né lay kɨ́ to kullə kədɨ dow-je, kɨ̀ kədkəm dow-je, kɨ̀ jangɨ-je, kɨ̀ né lay kɨ́ to kulə ta ndil-na̰-tɨ-je kinlé, ꞌtusi in̰əi kɔgɨ.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Adi ɓo ta lə Lubə kɨ́ to mba kɨ́ aa yə́rə́rə́ kin ɓá ra-si titɨ kɨ́ ɓo mba ra-né ngan-je kɨ́ bər kin bè, kdɔ kadɨ ꞌtɔgi-né ə ꞌtḛḛi-né kajɨ-tɨ,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 kdɔtalə sə̰i ꞌna̰i ooi adɨ ꞌgəi kɨ́ ꞌƁaɓe majɨ.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 ꞌReei rɔ ꞌƁaɓe-tɨ kɨ́ tokɨ ər kɨ́ tò kəm, kɨ́ dow-je ꞌmbatɨ, ngà Lubə mbətɨ adɨ to né kɨ́ gatɨ-é n̰a̰ ta kəm-é-tɨ.
4 — ausente —
5 Sə̰i ya kàrè ꞌtoi kɨ ər-je kɨ́ tò kəm bè, ə́ indəi rɔ-si natɨ kadɨ ꞌtəli kəy kisɨ Ndil kɨ́ aa njay rəm, kadɨ ꞌtoi njégugné-je kɨ́ aai njay, kdɔ kadɨ Ndil kɨ́ aa njay ra adɨ adi kadkare kɨ́ nəl Lubə kɨ̀ takul Jeju Kristɨ.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Kdɔtalə ꞌndàngɨ mḛḛ mbete-tɨ kɨ́ aa njay ꞌpanè: Ooi, ma̰ Lubə mꞌmbətɨ ər kɨ́ gatɨ-é n̰a̰, ɓá mꞌində sul kəy-tɨ mḛḛ ɓebo Siyɔ̰-tɨ. Dow kɨ́ adɨ-é mḛḛ-é ə rɔ-é à sɔl-é al.
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Adɨ sə̰i njékadmḛḛ-je lé, sə̰i ɓá riɓa tò dɔ-si-tɨ. Ngà rɔ njémḛḛnga̰-je-tɨ rəmə, ər kɨ́ njékində kəy-je dꞌilə pɨrɨngɨ kɔgɨ lé, ɓá təl to ər kɨ́ majɨ kɨ́ sul kəy-tɨ rəm, to ər kɨ́ tugə dow-je jigɨ-tɨ rəm, to ər kɨ́ à ra dow-je kadɨ ꞌtusɨ rəm.
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Dḛ, ꞌtugə nja-dé ər-tɨ lé ꞌtḛḛ dꞌusɨ, kdɔ ꞌmbatɨ təl rɔ-dé go ta-tɨ lə Lubə; gin-é kin ɓá kusɨ kinlé tò ngəbɨ-dé-né.
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Ngà sə̰i njékadmḛḛ-je rəmə, sə̰i ꞌtoi gin dow-je kɨ́ Lubə mbətɨ-si rəm, ꞌtoi njégugné-je lə Lubə kɨ́ to ngar rəm, ꞌtoi gin dow-je kɨ́ aai njay rəm, ꞌtoi gin dow-je kɨ́ Lubə gangɨ dɔ-si, kdɔ kadɨ iləi mbḛ néra-je kɨ́ majɨ-majɨ liə ḛ kɨ́ njèɓa-si kadɨ ḭi londul-tɨ ꞌreei londógɨ-tɨ liə kɨ́ majɨ n̰a̰.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Sə̰i lé ndɔkɨ ꞌtoi gin dow-je madɨ al, ngà ɓone bè ꞌtoi gin dow-je liə; ndɔkɨ Lubə oo kəmtondoo lə-si al, ngà ɓone bè Lubə oo kəmtondoo lə-si.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Sə̰i kɨ́ mꞌində-si dan kəm-m-tɨ lé, ꞌtoi mba-je, njékɔw kɨ̀ nja-si taá ɓá mꞌulə-né dingəm mḛḛ-si-tɨ kadɨ ꞌmbati ɓo né-je kɨ́ majɨ al kɨ́ tò dajɨ rɔ-si-tɨ isɨ rɔ kɨ̀ ndil-si.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Adi panjiyə-si majɨ dan njékadmḛḛ al-je-tɨ, kdɔ kadɨ lé dꞌisɨ dꞌilə ta dɔ-si-tɨ ꞌpanè ꞌtoi dow-je kɨ́ njèra né kɨ́ majɨ al ya kàrè, dꞌoo kullə ra-si-je kɨ́ majɨ-majɨ kin rəmə, dꞌɔsɨ-né gajɨ Lubə ndɔ kɨ́ à tḛḛ-né dɔ-dé-tɨ.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Kdɔ ta lə ꞌƁaɓe lé, uləi dɔ-si gin tɔ́gɨ-tɨ lə ngar kdɔ to kɨ́ ḛ to ꞌboy dɔ né-je-tɨ lay,
13 — ausente —
14 rəm uləi dɔ-si gin tɔ́gɨ-tɨ lə gubərnər-je, kdɔ to kɨ́ dḛ ꞌto dow-je kɨ́ ngar ulə-dé kadɨ ꞌgangɨ ta dɔ dow-je-tɨ kɨ́ njéra né-je kɨ́ majɨ al ə ꞌpitɨ dow-je kɨ́ njéra né-je kɨ́ majɨ.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Kdɔtalə Lubə ndigɨ kadɨ ꞌrai majɨ kdɔ kadɨ uwəi-né ta mbə́-je kɨ́ njégə né al.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Adi panjiyə-si to panjiyə dow-je kɨ́ Lubə taa-dé ilə-dé taá; kḛ ɓá adi taa kilə taá lə-si təl to né kɔn dɔ mḛḛndul al; ngà kadɨ panjiyə-si to panjiyə ngannjékullə-je lə Lubə.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Uni ta dow-je lay; ꞌndigi ngankɔ̰-si-je kɨ́ ꞌto njékadmḛḛ-je, ꞌɓəli Lubə, uni ta ngar.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Sə̰i ngannjékullə-je, uləi dɔ-si gin tɔ́gɨ-tɨ lə ꞌɓa-si-je kɨ̀ ɓəl kɨ́ tɔgrɔ-tɨ; dḛ kɨ́ ꞌmajɨ rəm, ꞌsɔl lɔm-lɔm par ɓá kadɨ uləi dɔ-si gin tɔ́gɨ-tɨ lə-dé al; ngà dḛ kɨ́ ꞌnga̰ kàrè, uləi dɔ-si gin tɔ́gɨ-tɨ lə-dé tɔ.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Kdɔtalə kɔ̰̀ kɨ́ dow ingə kɨ̀ ndangɨ kare ya ə ore mḛḛ-é kdɔ to kɨ́ ḛ to njèɓəl Lubə lé to né kɨ́ majɨ.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Kdɔtalə kinə dow ingə kɔ̰̀ kdɔ né kɨ́ majɨ al kɨ́ ḛ ra ɓá ore mḛḛ-é kàrè, pitɨ ri ɓá dꞌa pitɨ-é wa? Ngà kinə dow ingə kɔ̰̀ kdɔ né kɨ́ majɨ kɨ́ ḛ ra ɓá ore mḛḛ-é rəmə, to né kɨ́ majɨ takəm Lubə-tɨ.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 To né kin ɓá Lubə ɓa-si kdɔ;
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Kristɨ lé ra majal nja káre al rəm,
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 ɓá ꞌtajɨ-é kàrè, ḛ tajɨ-dé tó-tɨ al rəm,
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Kristɨ lé, ḛ ya ɔy majal-je lə-ji dɔ-é-tɨ ɔy-né dɔ kagdəsɨ-tɨ,
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Kdɔtalə, ndɔkɨ ɔwi tokɨ batɨ-je kɨ́ ꞌndəm bè,
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
