1 የሱሳ Ꮊተካ አሳይስ Ꮊይ ጋርክ ዬጊ ኣዝሶ ኦዴዛ።
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 «ሳሎ ካተትይ ፋ ናአይስ ቦስ ማኬዝ ካታ ኣዝዛ።
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 የ ካታይ ቦስ የኦዳይ ጋርክ ኦዴዝ አሳ ጼጎዳይስ ፋ አይልታ ኪቴዛ። ዝን አሳይ የኦዳይስ ኮየካያ።
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 ማ ሀራ አይልታ ጼጊ፥ ጼግንቴዝ አስታይኮ Ꮊንጊ፥ ‹ታኒ ታ ሳንግታኔ ሞዝ መህታ ሹኬዛ፤ ኡባ ባዝ ጊጌዛ። ታ ቦሳይኮ የኦይታ ዬጎይታ› ዬጊ ኪቴዛ።
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 ዝን ጼግንቴዝታይ ጼሳ እጺ፥ ፋ Ꮊንታስ Ꮊንታስ ቅቴዛ። ፐታይ ፋ ዎታስ፥ Ꮊንካይ ፋ ዛልኤስ ቅቴዛ።
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Ꮊንክታይ ማ ካታይ አይልታ አይኪ፥ ካዉሽሽ Ꮊ ዎዛ።
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 «ካታይ ኢታ ሸንቲ፥ ፋ ዎታዳርታ ዳኪ ሸምፖ ዎዝታ ዎሴዛ፥ ኡ ካታምቶካ ጹጌዛ።
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 የይፕ ጉየ፥ ፋ አይልታይኮ፥ ‹ቦሳይ ጊጌዛ፥ ዝን ጼግንቴዝታይ ቦሳይስ ቤዝዛ አስታ ባያ።
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 የይ ግሾስ፥ ዳሞ ጎሳ አይኪ Ꮊንጊ፥ ደንጌዝ አስ ኡብታ ቦሳ የኦድ ጋርክ ጼጎይታ› ዬጌዛ።
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 አይልታይ ኦገል ከዚ ፋ ደንጌዝ አስ ኡባ ሎእታኔ ኢትታ ክኢ ቦሳ ሻቃራ ገልሲ ኩንዛ።
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 «ዝን ካታይ ሙንታ ማዳይስ በቴዝ አሳ በአዳይስ ገሎዳር ቦስ አፍላ ማኤካ ፐቲ አስ ደንጌዛ።
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ኤዝኮ፥ ‹ናት ነ ቦስ አፍላ ማኤካዛር ዋይዚ Ꮊይዳ ገሌኔ?› ዬጌዛ። ዝን አይ ስኤ አቴዛ።
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 «ካታይ ፋ አይልታይኮ፥ ‹Ꮊ አይስ ኩሻኔ ቶካ አጪ፥ ባለ ማ ከሲ ኦሎይታ። ኤዛይድ ኤዝስ ዬፎኔ አች ጮንቺ ማቃዳ› ዬጌዛ።
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 «የይ ጋርክ፥ ጾስ ካተትይስ ጼግንቴዝታይ ጋመ ዝን ዶርንቴዝታይ ጽቃ» ዬጌዛ።
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 የይፕ ጉየ፥ ፈርሳውታይ Ꮊንጊ፥ የሱሳ ዋይዚ ኦዳር አይኮዳዛኮ ቶቤዛ።

16 ፋ ታማርታኔ ሄሮዶሳ ባግታይፕ ፐታ ፐታ ኪቴዛ። ኡንትካ፥ «አስታማራዮ፥ ነ ቱሮ ኦድዛና ኑ ኤርዛ። ኔኒ አሳፕ አስ ሻኪ ኤሮያ፥ አሲ ዋጎዴ ግ አብካ ኦ ኤሮያ፥ ጾስ ኦገ ቱሮራ ታማርስዛ።
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 አን ኑስ ኦዶባ፥ ኑኒ ኦሮመ ካታይስ ጊራ ጊሮዳይስ ቤዝነኔ ቤዞሳ?» ዬጌዛ።
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 ዝን የሱሳ ኡ ኢታ ቆፋ ኤሪ፥ «Ꮊ ጩቢታዮ፥ ታና አብስ ፓጬ?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 ጊራ ጊርዛ ሚሽቶ ታና ቤዞይታ» ዬጌዛ። ኡንትካ ኤዝስ ድናረ ክኢ ቤዜዛ።
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ኤ፥ «Ꮊ ሱንይኔ ማላይ ኦ ባዞ?» ዬጌዛ።
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 ኡንቲ፥ «ሮመ ካታይሲ» ዬጌዛ።
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 ኡ የያ ስኢ ማላ ባዝ ግ አሺ ቅቴዛ።
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 የ ጋላስ Ꮊይቆፕ ደንዶ ባያ ዬግዝ ሳዱቃውታይ የሱሳኮ ይኢ፥ ዬጊ ኤዛ ኦይጬዛ።

24 «አስታማራዮ፥ ‹ሙሰ፥ ፐቲ አሲ ማቾ ኤኪ ናአ የለካዛር Ꮊይቅኮ፥ የ Ꮊይቄዛይስ እሻይ ኤ ማቻቶ ኤኪ፥ ፋ እሻይስ ናአ የሎ› ዬጊ አዛዜዛ።
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 ኑ ኤርዛ ላፑን እሽታይ የዛ። ባይራይ ማቾ ኤኪ ናአ የለካዛር Ꮊይቄዛ። ኤ ማቻቶ ኤ ካሎ እሻይ ኤኬዛ።
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 የይ ጋርከካ፥ የ አስቶ ኤኬዝ ናምአንይካ፥ ሃይንይካ፥ Ꮊንጊ ላፑንታይ ዉሮድ ጋ ኡቢታይ Ꮊይቄዛ።
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 ኡባፕ ዉርስል የ አስታካ Ꮊይቄዛ።
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 የዝን፥ ላፑንታይ ኡቢታይ እዞ ኤኬዝ ግሾስ Ꮊይቆፕ ደንድዛ ጋላስ፥ የ አስታ ላፑንታይፕ ኣያይስ ማቾ ማቃዴ?» ዬጌዛ።
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 የሱሳ ማሂ፥ «ይ ጾስ ቃላይ ታማርሴዝ ባዝ ዎይ ኤ ዎልቃ ኤሮዋ ግሾስ ባልንትዛ።
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 አሳይ Ꮊይቆፐ ደንድዛ ዎደ ሳሎ የዝ ኪታንችታይ ጋርክ ማቆዳይፕ አትን ኤኮያኔ ገሎያ።
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 ማ Ꮊይቄዝ አሳይ Ꮊይቆፕ ደንዶድ ባዝ ጾስ ይንትስ ኦዴዛና ይ ናባበካሳ?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ጾሳይ፥ ‹ታኒ አፍራመ ጾስ፥ እሳቃ ጾስ፥ ያይቆባ ጾስ› ዬጌዛ። የይ ግሾስ፥ ጾሳይ ፓ የዝታይ ጾሳፕ አትን Ꮊይቄዝታይ ጾስ ባያ» ዬጌዛ።
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 ጋመ አሳይ የያ ስኢ፥ ኤ ትምርታ ማላባዝ ጌዛ።
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 የሱሳ ሳዱቃውታይስ ጎድባዝ ብሴዛና ፈርሳውታይ ስኢ ዎላ ሺቄዛ።
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 ኡ ጋንጨፕ ፐቲ ህገ አስታማራይ የሱሳ ፓጨ ኦይች ኦይጬዛ።
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 «አስታማራዮ፥ ህገ ኡባይፕ ኣዛይ ኣያ?» ዬጊ ኦይጬዛ።
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 የሱሳ ማሂ፥ «‹ነ ጎዳ፥ ነ ጾሳ፥ ነ ኩን ዎዝናይፕ፥ ነ ኩን ሸምፖፕ፥ ነ ኩን ቆፋፕ ቃባ።
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 ኡባፕ ኣዛይኔ ባይራ ኪታይ Ꮊያ።
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 ናምእን ኡባይፕ ኣዝ ኪታይ፥ አስ ኡባ ነ ነና ዶስዛይ ጋርክ ዶሶባ› ዬግዛያ።
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 ሙሰ ህጋይኔ ናብታይ ትምርታይ ኡባይ Ꮊ ኪትታይል አፋ ካትዛ» ዬጌዛ።
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 ፈርሳውታይ ፐትፕ ሺቂ የዝን፥ የሱሳ ኡንታን፥
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 «ክርስቶሳ ባጋ ይ ዋጌ? ኤ ኦ ናአ?» ዬጊ ኦይጬዛ።
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 የሱሳ ኡንትኮ፥ «የዝን፥ ዳዉተ ጌሻ አያናር ማቂ ዋይዚ ክርስቶሳ፥ ‹ጎዳ› ግ ጼጌ? ዳዉተ ጊታር፥
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 « ‹ጾሳይ፥ ታ ጎዳይኮ፥
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ይኬ፥ ዳዉተ ክርስቶሳ ጎዳ ግ ጼግኮ፥ ዋይዚ ክርስቶሳ ዳዉተ ናአ ማቄ?» ዬጌዛ።
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 የሱሳስ ፐቲ ቃላ ማሆዳይስ ዳንዳኤዝ አስ ኦንካ ባያ። ማ የ ጋላሳፕ አይኪ ሀራ ኦይች ኦይጮዳይስ ኦንካ ዳንዳኤካያ።
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
