1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Wu pa kǝla abangna-muna, rǝ wun ɓǝ̀ kǝ ɓǝla arǝ nu kiura mǝɓoarnsari mala cau mala Ɓakuli, ace mǝnana ɓǝ̀ wu gulo aɓalǝi, ɓǝ̀ kyan nǝ wun a amsǝban,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 mǝnana ado <<wu ongŋǝna ɓoaro mala Mǝtalabangŋo ka.>>
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Wu yiu a ban Kǝrǝsti, yì tali mǝyilǝmuì, mǝnana aɓwana ginǝki, sǝ Ɓakuli twali acemǝnana a baní ka ndanǝ ɓoaro ka.

5 Sǝ wun ado ka wu nda ka tali mǝyilǝmuì, mǝnana Ɓakuli nda arǝ ɓak ɓala male aɓa bangŋo nǝ wun ngga. Aɓa mǝnia yì ɓala ka, wun nǝ̀ duk apǝris mala Ɓakuli ace pà aɓoro mala bangŋo, mǝnana agir'a na a baní, nǝ bu Yesu Kǝrǝsti ka.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Aɓa Malǝmce ka à gilǝa ama:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Sǝ wun mana wu gūlì arǝì ka, ɓoaro male a ban wun ngga ulangni pà kàm ɗàng. Sǝ a ban aɓwana mǝnana à earnǝi raka dumǝna,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Sǝ ɗǝm ngga,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Sǝ wun ngga, wu nda ka ɓwamǝpǝndǝe mǝnana Ɓakuli tàr wun ngga. Wu nda ka amurǝma pǝris, aɓwana ace Ɓakuli, andǝ agirkuma male. Tàr wun ace mǝnana ɓǝ̀ wu hambi aɓwana aɓealɓoarna male, yi mǝnana tunǝ wun aɓa pǝndǝa aban yiu aɓa tǎlaban male mǝ pà ndali ka.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 <<Ɗiɗyal ka,
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Wun amǝ'eamrǝarǝu mǝnana ǝn earkiyi acea raka, wun mǝnana wu nda ka amǝgya-kutio andǝ abǝri a ɓanza ka, ǝn nggǝ kwarkir wun, wu gapita re wun nǝ anpel mala nggūrǝu, mǝnana à kǝ munǝo arǝ yilǝmi wun ngga.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Do ma'wun aɓalǝ aɓwana mǝnana amǝkwaɗi na raka ɓǝ̀ dum nǝ ɓealɓoarna. Anggo ka ko ɓǝà tsǝka wun cau arǝ wun ama wu nda ka amǝ'ɓealɓikea ka, à nǝ̀ sǝn atúró mǝɓoarne mǝnana wu pakki ka, sǝ à nǝ̀ pè Ɓakuli gulo a pwari mǝnana nǝ̀ yiu a lǝmdǝ rǝì ka.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Ace Mǝtalabangŋo ka, wu pà ɓamur rǝ wun aɓata aɓwana mǝnana à nda amur buno-murǝm aɓa mǝnia yì ɓanza ka. Wu pà ɓamur rǝ wun a ban mǝtala-nzali kǝla ɓwa mǝnana nda a múr aɓwana kat ka.
13 — ausente —
14 Wu okî amǝ'yálban mǝnana à twalia sǝ à tasǝia ace kwarkir amǝ yàl nzongcau, sǝ ɓǝà ɓwangsǝ aɓwana mǝnana à kǝ pak mǝɓoarne ka.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Ɓakuli ka, kàne male na ama nǝ́ pakki atúró cauɓoarna ma'wun ngga, ɓǝ̀ wu gìr kun amǝ'ɗwanyi-sǝlǝe arǝ nakia acau mǝɓane.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Wu dukdo kǝla aɓwana mǝnana à panzǝnia à kumǝna ɓamuria ka, sǝ ce wu pǝlǝ panzǝban ma'wun, dupa wun njargula pakki aɓealɓikea ɗang; ɓǝ̀ do ma'wun pa kǝla aguro mala Ɓakuli.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Wu pè koyana le ka gulo, sǝ wu earce amǝ'eamrǝarǝu. Wu kǝ ɓanggi Ɓakuli, sǝ wu kǝ pe murǝm gulo.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Wun mǝnana wu nda ka amuna-ɓala ka, wu kǝ oki amǝtala-ɓala ma'wun nǝ pagulo. Ɓǝ̀ kǝa do ama, she ɓǝà nda ka aɓwana mǝnana à kǝ pakka wun mǝɓoarne sǝ à nda ɓukɓuk ka ɗàng; nggearǝ amǝnana ɓealia ɓiki ka, wu kǝ okia wia.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Ɓakuli ka, bumi kǝ pwasǝa rǝ wun, ɓǝ̀ wu pàk gìr mǝnana wu sǝlǝ ama mǝɓoarne na, sǝ wu kǝ shakminǝu nǝ munyi aɓa mǝɓane mǝnana kǝ kum wun atà pěmǝɓoarne ka.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Ya gìr mǝɓoarne nda wun nǝ̀ kùmô aɓalǝi yi mǝnana ɓǝ̀ wu twal gandǝa nǝ walban mana wu kùmô ace mǝɓane mǝnana wu pàk ka? Sǝa ma ɓǝ̀ wu kum tanni ace pak mǝɓoarne, sǝ wu twal gandǝa nǝi ka, bum Ɓakuli nǝ̀ pwasǝa rǝ wun.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Nda àkǝ̀ ce mǝnia ka sǝ Ɓakuli tunǝ wun, acemǝnana Kǝrǝsti gbal ka, nu tanni ace wun sǝ nyingga wuni kǝla gìrkànì, ace mǝnana ɓǝ̀ wu twalkusǝì ka.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 <<Yì ka, pàk kǝ
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Lang aɓwana sanggì ka,
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Yì nǝ nggearǝì ka,
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Ɗiɗyal ka,
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
