1 Now these are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away into exile unto Babylon, and who returned unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
1 Estes são os filhos da província que voltaram do cativeiro, do meio dos exilados que Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, tinha levado para lá. Eles voltaram para Jerusalém e para Judá, cada um para a sua cidade,
2 Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua’, Nehemiah, Serayah, Re’elayah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Misspar, Bigvai, Rechum, Ba’anah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was:
2 e vieram com Zorobabel, Jesua, Neemias, Seraías, Reelaías, Mordecai, Bilsã, Mispar, Bigvai, Reum e Baaná. Eis o número dos homens do povo de Israel:
3 The children of Par’osh, two thousand one hundred seventy and two.
3 os filhos de Parós, dois mil cento e setenta e dois.
4 The children of Shephatyah, three hundred seventy and two.

5 The children of Arach, seven hundred seventy and five.
5 Os filhos de Ará, setecentos e setenta e cinco.
6 The children of Pachath–moab, of the children of Jeshua’ and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.
6 Os filhos de Paate-Moabe, dos filhos de Jesua-Joabe, dois mil oitocentos e doze.
7 The children of ‘Elath, one thousand two hundred fifty and four.

42 Os filhos dos porteiros: os filhos de Salum, os filhos de Ater, os filhos de Talmom, os filhos de Acube, os filhos de Hatita, os filhos de Sobai; cento e trinta e nove ao todo.
43 The temple–servants were: The children of Zicha, the children of Chassupha, the children of Tabba’oth.

56 The children of Ja’alah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel.

57 The children of Shephatyah, the children of Chattil, the children of Pochereth–hazzebayim, the children of Ami.
57 os filhos de Sefatias, os filhos de Hatil, os filhos de Poquerete-Hazebaim e os filhos de Ami.
58 All the temple–servants, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred and ninety and two.
58 Todos os servidores do templo e os filhos dos servos de Salomão eram trezentos e noventa e dois.
59 And these are those who went up from Thel–melach, Thelcharsha, Kerub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not tell their family division, and their descent, whether they were of Israel:
59 Os seguintes voltaram de Tel-Melá, Tel-Harsa, Querube, Adã e Imer, porém não puderam provar que as suas famílias e a sua linhagem eram de Israel:
60 The children of Delayah the children of Tobiyah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
60 os filhos de Delaías, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Necoda, seiscentos e cinquenta e dois.
61 And of the children of the priests: The children of Chabayah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who had taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gil’adite, and was called after their name.
61 Dos filhos dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Coz, os filhos de Barzilai, que tinha casado com uma das filhas de Barzilai, o gileadita, e que foi chamado pelo nome dele.
62 These sought for their family–registers, but they were not found: wherefore they were excluded, as unfit, from the priesthood.
62 Estes procuraram o seu registro nos livros genealógicos, porém não acharam; por isso, foram considerados impuros para o sacerdócio.
63 And the Thirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand up a priest with the Urim and Thummim.
63 O governador lhes disse que não comessem das coisas sagradas, até que se levantasse um sacerdote capaz de decidir a questão por meio de Urim e Tumim.
64 The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty.
64 Toda esta congregação junta era de quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,
65 Besides their men–servants and their maid–servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: they had also two hundred singing men and singing women.
65 além dos seus servos e as suas servas, que eram sete mil trezentos e trinta e sete. Havia também duzentos cantores e cantoras.
66 Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
66 Os seus cavalos eram setecentos e trinta e seis; as suas mulas, duzentas e quarenta e cinco.
67 Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
67 Os seus camelos eram quatrocentos e trinta e cinco e os jumentos, seis mil setecentos e vinte.
68 And some of the chiefs of the divisions, when they came to the house of the Lord which is at Jerusalem, offered freewill gifts for the house of God to set it up in its place:
68 Alguns dos chefes de famílias, ao chegarem à Casa do Senhor , em Jerusalém, deram ofertas voluntárias para a Casa de Deus, para a restaurarem no seu antigo lugar.
69 After their ability they gave unto the treasure for the work sixty and one thousand drachms of gold, and five thousand manehs of sliver, and one hundred coats for the priests.
69 Segundo os seus recursos, deram para o tesouro da obra meia tonelada de ouro, três toneladas de prata e cem vestes sacerdotais.
70 And the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the gate–keepers, and the temple–servants, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
70 Os sacerdotes, os levitas, algumas pessoas do povo, os cantores, os porteiros e os servidores do templo foram morar nas suas cidades, assim como todo o Israel.
