1 Now these are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away into exile unto Babylon, and who returned unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
1 Estes são os filhos da província que subiram do cativeiro, dos transportados que Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, tinha levado para Babilônia, e tornaram a Jerusalém e a Judá, cada um para a sua casa,
2 Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Serayah, Reelayah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Misspar, Bigvai, Rechum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was:

58 All the templeservants, and the children of Solomons servants, were three hundred and ninety and two.
58 Todos os netineus e os filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
59 And these are those who went up from Thelmelach, Thelcharsha, Kerub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not tell their family division, and their descent, whether they were of Israel:
59 Também estes subiram de Tel-Melá e Tel-Harsa, Querube, Adã e Imer, porém não puderam mostrar a casa de seus pais e sua linhagem, se de Israel eram.
60 The children of Delayah the children of Tobiyah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

61 And of the children of the priests: The children of Chabayah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who had taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Giladite, and was called after their name.
61 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Coz, os filhos de Barzilai, que tomou mulher das filhas de Barzilai, o gileadita, e que foi chamado do seu nome.
62 These sought for their familyregisters, but they were not found: wherefore they were excluded, as unfit, from the priesthood.

63 And the Thirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand up a priest with the Urim and Thummim.

64 The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty.
64 Toda essa congregação junta foi de quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,
65 Besides their menservants and their maidservants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: they had also two hundred singing men and singing women.
65 afora os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil trezentos e trinta e sete; também tinham duzentos cantores e cantoras.
66 Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
66 Os seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis; os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;
67 Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
67 os seus camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco; os jumentos, seis mil setecentos e vinte.
68 And some of the chiefs of the divisions, when they came to the house of the Lord which is at Jerusalem, offered freewill gifts for the house of God to set it up in its place:
68 E alguns dos chefes dos pais, vindo à Casa do Senhor , que habita em Jerusalém, deram voluntárias ofertas para a Casa de Deus, para a fundarem no seu lugar.
69 After their ability they gave unto the treasure for the work sixty and one thousand drachms of gold, and five thousand manehs of sliver, and one hundred coats for the priests.
69 Conforme o seu poder, deram para o tesouro da obra, em ouro, sessenta e um mil daricos, e, em prata, cinco mil arráteis, e cem vestes sacerdotais.
70 And the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the templeservants, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
70 E habitaram os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e alguns do povo, tanto os cantores como os porteiros e os netineus nas suas cidades, como também todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
