¹ David also divided off with the chiefs of the host for the service of the sons of Assaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, those who uttered praise accompanied with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and their number was of the men that did the work in their service.

¹ Além disso, Davi e os capitães do exército separaram para o serviço alguns dos filhos de Asafe, e de Hemã, e de Jedutum, que deveriam profetizar com harpas, com saltérios, e com címbalos; e o número dos trabalhadores, segundo o seu serviço, era:

² Of the sons of Assaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethanyah, and Asharelah, the sons of Assaph under the supervision of Assaph, who uttered praise under the supervision of the king.

² dos filhos de Asafe: Zacur, e José, e Netanias, e Asarela, os filhos de Asafe, sob as mãos de Asafe, o qual profetizava segundo a ordem do rei.

³ Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedalyahu, and Zeri, and Jeshayahu, Chashahyahu, and Matthithyahu, six, under the supervision of their father Jeduthun, who uttered praise with a harp, in order to give thanks and to utter praise unto the Lord.

³ De Jedutum: os filhos de Jedutum; Gedalias, e Zeri, e Jesaías, Hasabias, e Matitias, seis, sob as mãos do seu pai, Jedutum, que profetizava com uma harpa, para dar graças e louvor ao SENHOR.

⁴ Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiyahu, Matthanyahu, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Chananyah, Chanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Machazoth;

⁴ De Hemã: os filhos de Hemã; Buquias, Matanias, Uziel, Sebuel, Jerimote, Hananias, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti-Ézer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir, e Maaziote;

⁵ All these sons of Heman the kings seer in the words of God, were to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

⁵ todos estes eram os filhos de Hemã, o vidente do rei nas palavras de Deus, para erguer o chifre. E Deus deu a Hemã, catorze filhos e três filhas.

⁶ All these were under the supervision of their father at the singing in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, under the supervision of the king, Assaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

⁶ Todos estes estiveram debaixo das mãos do seu pai para cânticos na casa do SENHOR, com címbalos, saltérios, e harpas para o serviço da casa de Deus, segundo a ordem do rei a Asafe, Jedutum e Hemã.

⁷ And their number, with their brethren that were practised in singing unto the Lord, even all that were acquainted therewith, was two hundred eighty and eight.

⁷ Então, o número deles, com os seus irmãos que eram instruídos nos cânticos do SENHOR, a saber, todos os que eram peritos, era de duzentos e oitenta e oito.

⁸ And they cast lots, division against division, the small well as the great, the one acquainted with his business together with the scholar.

⁸ E eles lançaram sorte, guarda contra guarda, tanto o pequeno como o grande, tanto o mestre quanto o discípulo.

⁹ And there came forth the first lot for Assaph for Joseph; Gedalyahu was the second, he with his brethren and sons, being twelve:

⁹ Ora, a primeira sorte saiu por Asafe para José; a segunda para Gedalias, que, com os seus irmãos e filhos eram doze;

¹⁰ The third was Zaccur, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve:

¹⁰ a terceira para Zacur, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

¹¹ The fourth was for Yizri, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

¹¹ a quarta para Izri, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

¹² The fifth was Nethanyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve:

¹² a quinta para Netanias, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

¹³ The sixth was Bukkiyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve:

¹³ a sexta para Buquias, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

¹⁴ The seventh was Jessarelah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

¹⁴ a sétima para Jesarela, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

¹⁵ The eighth was Jeshayahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

¹⁵ a oitava para Jesaías, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

¹⁶ The ninth was Matthanyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

¹⁶ a nona para Matanias, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

¹⁷ The tenth was Shimi, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

¹⁷ a décima para Simei, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

¹⁸ The eleventh was Asarel, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

¹⁸ a undécima para Azarel, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

¹⁹ The twelfth was for Chashahyah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

¹⁹ a duodécima para Hasabias, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²⁰ The thirteenth was Shuhael, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²⁰ a décima terceira para Subael, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²¹ The fourteenth was Matthithyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²¹ a décima quarta para Matitias, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²² The fifteenth was for Jeremoth, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²² a décima quinta para Jerimote, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²³ The sixteenth was for Chananyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²³ a décima sexta para Hananias, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²⁴ The seventeenth was for Joshbekashah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²⁴ a décima sétima para Josbecasa, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²⁵ The eighteenth was for Chanani, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²⁵ a décima oitava para Hanani, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²⁶ The nineteenth was for Mallothi, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²⁶ a décima nona para Maloti, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²⁷ The twentieth was for Eliyathah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²⁷ a vigésima para Eliata, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²⁸ The one and twentieth was for Hothir, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²⁸ a vigésima primeira para Hotir, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

²⁹ The two and twentieth was for Giddalthi, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

²⁹ a vigésima segunda para Gidalti, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

³⁰ The three and twentieth was for Machasioth, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;

³⁰ a vigésima terceira para Maaziote, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze;

³¹ The four and twentieth was for Romamthieser, his sons and his brethren, being twelve.

³¹ a vigésima quarta para Romanti-Ézer, ele, os seus filhos, e os seus irmãos, eram doze.
