1 David also divided off with the chiefs of the host for the service of the sons of Assaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, those who uttered praise accompanied with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and their number was of the men that did the work in their service.
1 E Davi, juntamente com os capitães do exército, separou para o ministério os filhos de Asafe, e de Hemã, e de Jedutum, para profetizarem com harpas, com címbalos, e com saltérios; e este foi o número dos homens aptos para a obra do seu ministério:
2 Of the sons of Assaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethanyah, and Asharelah, the sons of Assaph under the supervision of Assaph, who uttered praise under the supervision of the king.
2 Dos filhos de Asafe: Zacur, José, Netanias, e Asarela, filhos de Asafe; a cargo de Asafe, que profetizava debaixo das ordens do rei Davi.
3 Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedalyahu, and Zeri, and Jesha’yahu, Chashahyahu, and Matthithyahu, six, under the supervision of their father Jeduthun, who uttered praise with a harp, in order to give thanks and to utter praise unto the Lord.
3 Quanto a Jedutum, os filhos: Gedalias, Zeri, Jesaías, Hasabias, e Matitias, seis, a cargo de seu pai, Jedutum, o qual profetizava com a harpa, louvando e dando graças ao Senhor.
4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiyahu, Matthanyahu, ‘Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Chananyah, Chanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti–’ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Machaz’oth;
4 Quanto a Hemã, os filhos: Buquias, Matanias, Uziel, Sebuel, Jerimote, Hananias, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti-Ezer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir, e Maaziote.
5 All these sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, were to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
5 Todos estes foram filhos de Hemã, o vidente do rei nas palavras de Deus, para exaltar o seu poder; porque Deus dera a Hemã catorze filhos e três filhas.
6 All these were under the supervision of their father at the singing in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, under the supervision of the king, Assaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
6 Todos estes estavam sob a direção de seu pai, para a música da casa do Senhor, com saltérios, címbalos e harpas, para o ministério da casa de Deus; e Asafe, Jedutum, e Hemã, estavam sob as ordens do rei.
7 And their number, with their brethren that were practised in singing unto the Lord, even all that were acquainted therewith, was two hundred eighty and eight.
7 E era o número deles, juntamente com seus irmãos instruídos no canto ao Senhor, todos eles mestres, duzentos e oitenta e oito.
8 And they cast lots, division against division, the small well as the great, the one acquainted with his business together with the scholar.
8 E deitaram sortes acerca da guarda igualmente, assim o pequeno como o grande, o mestre juntamente com o discípulo.
9 And there came forth the first lot for Assaph for Joseph; Gedalyahu was the second, he with his brethren and sons, being twelve:
9 Saiu, pois, a primeira sorte a Asafe, a saber a José; a segunda a Gedalias; e ele, e seus irmãos, e seus filhos, ao todo eram doze.
10 The third was Zaccur, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve:
10 A terceira a Zacur, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
11 The fourth was for Yizri, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
11 A quarta a Izri, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
12 The fifth was Nethanyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve:
12 A quinta a Netanias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
13 The sixth was Bukkiyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve:
13 A sexta a Buquias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
14 The seventh was Jessarelah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
14 A sétima a Jesarela, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
15 The eighth was Jesha’yahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
15 A oitava a Jesaías, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
16 The ninth was Matthanyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
16 A nona a Matanias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
17 The tenth was Shim’i, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
17 A décima a Simei, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
18 The eleventh was ‘Asarel, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
18 A undécima a Azareel, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
19 The twelfth was for Chashahyah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
19 A duodécima a Hasabias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
20 The thirteenth was Shuhael, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
20 A décima terceira a Subael, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
21 The fourteenth was Matthithyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
21 A décima quarta a Matitias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
22 The fifteenth was for Jeremoth, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
22 A décima quinta a Jeremote, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
23 The sixteenth was for Chananyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
23 A décima sexta a Hananias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
24 The seventeenth was for Joshbekashah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
24 A décima sétima a Josbecasa, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
25 The eighteenth was for Chanani, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
25 A décima oitava a Hanani, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
26 The nineteenth was for Mallothi, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
26 A décima nona a Maloti, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
27 The twentieth was for Eliyathah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
27 A vigésima a Eliata, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
28 The one and twentieth was for Hothir, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
28 A vigésima primeira a Hotir, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
29 The two and twentieth was for Giddalthi, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
29 A vigésima segunda a Gidalti, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
30 The three and twentieth was for Machasioth, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
30 A vigésima terceira a Maaziote, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
31 The four and twentieth was for Romamthi–’eser, his sons and his brethren, being twelve.
31 A vigésima quarta a Romanti-Ezer, seus filhos, e seus irmãos, doze.
