1 Mina dada ya kaya rofu vegu no tau gade, ofa ofa ago tau gade, ofarosi vegu, gonema ma ago no tau gade makufa.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Mida kakua vata niyadi kana, toga vima di susu ruaka vaifa. Ye mina iribigediri, moi vegu rinari tora nigedi.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.

7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,

8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Idu ya bi ini abidi reyo vene, kini di Sei ma amiye utari di naivo vene, gagani tora kikifa vene ma Sei iniye di vene, ye Sei di vegu buni buni niogau regika, kaere mukunari gutuna ini vabara buni vayavayari ya raka ni moi yakuyo.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Ari yokoiri ya bi Sei di amiye de, idu gua ya bi ini amiye. Ari yokoiri iriyeduka de moiyadi, idu gua bi iriyeduka moiyadi.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Nai uka maida amiye, amiye idana ma rerevaida ni dina vene kana, ya usa nida ya kaya yi roaita di ura rena kana ga refa; mina bi toga toga vimasa ruda rebigedi.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Yi reremama rededi tutubena idana vene di fogori bi kikifa dudu buni maka ameyaine, ye vegu no rededi vene kana no nigediri, yi reremama buni reyadi vei mama resi Sei di dego medari, ini roka moi odoro rigedi.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Varika amiye dada, ya kaya yi ourefeidena vene tau gade gabireri raga refa, kini di ourefeidena gabireri,

14 o gavana di ourefeidena gabireri, kaere Sei yaku nifeideyo vegu no rededi vene fafau, kaunava masi vegu buni rededi fafau, buni ni moi odoro riyagane.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Adina Sei yaku ini beika ura redo, bi yi beika buni rededi yaku ada de amiye di ada gira ago moi bere rigedi.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Vegu no erufuna amiye kana amefa, idu yi vegu no erufuna vegu dudu, vegu no fafa ga refa, idu Sei di moimai rei tavoi rededi vene kana amefa.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Amiye tau vanu nivava resi yi ekalesia usika ourena rofu, uka masi Sei rofu ori resi kini nivava refa.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Ya yavari moimai rei tavoi rededi vene yi varika vene rofu, akeke tau dudu ini gabireri raga refa, diya kaere ya rofu buni resi ave nidedi maka, idu ina ka kaere ya rofu ave de nidedi.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Adina ya rofu buni tora gade vonisi, ya bi Sei diba nisi mokena rorobo de vegu rofu esika esikari are rei gira regedi.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Ya fafau bi no regedi ma ya ubobo regedi vonisi, beika dada nisi buni ya magedi? Idu ya bi buni regedi ma ya fafau esika esikari are rei gira regedi vonisi, Sei di nemokori mina bi buni tora gade.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Adina Sei yaku mina rofu ya raka niyo, Keriso ka esika esika ya rofu gurauyo dada, ya oteimagi, makai resi ini anuka usi diyainedi.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Ina bi vegu no yokoi de resi ka ofa sina yokoi de niyo.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Adina bi ago esika toe maradiri, mina toe dairi nikabai de reyo. Esika esika gurauyori, amiye ni moi ori ago mana de reyo, idu ini uka mokena Sei kaere mokena rorobo dudu amiye kota rego di vanari aegamo.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Iniye ini roaitari uni vegu no satauro odorori uakaiyo, ye gokai vegu no dudu muyesi vegu rorobo dudu amegifa. Mina bi ini ara yaku ya moi buni riyadi.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Adina ya bi mamoe kana ini dina ida mina moi rerevaida nigamadi. Idu gua ya bi mamoe dogo redo ma vima buni ourefeidena amiye dairisi usi didedi. Mamoe dogo redo amiye|src="bk00004c.tif" size="span" ref="2.25"
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
