1 I [am] the lily of the field [[Heb. Sharon]] [and] the rose of the valleys.
1 sou o narciso de Saron, o lírio dos vales.
2 As the lily among thorns, so [is] my love among the virgins.
2 - Como o lírio entre os espinhos, assim é minha amiga entre as jovens.
3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wild, so [is] my beloved among the sons. [I] desired to [sit] under his shadow, and his fruit [was] sweet to my taste.
3 - Como a macieira entre as árvores da floresta, assim é o meu amado entre os jovens; gosto de sentar-me à sua sombra, e seu fruto é doce à minha boca.
4 He brought me to the wine chamber and placed his banner of love over me.
4 Ele introduziu-me num celeiro, e o estandarte, que levanta sobre mim, é o amor.
5 Sustain me with flagons [of wine], strengthen me with apples; for I [am] sick with love.
5 Restaurou-me com tortas de uvas, fortaleceu-me com maçãs, porque estou enferma de amor.
6 His left hand [is] under my head, and his right hand embraces me.
6 Sua mão esquerda está sob minha cabeça, e sua direita abraça-me.
7 I charge you, O ye virgins of Jerusalem, by the roes and by the hinds of the field that ye not awake nor stir up love, until he pleases.
7 - Conjuro-vos, ó filhas de Jerusalém, pelas gazelas e corças dos campos, que não desperteis nem perturbeis o amor, antes que ele o queira.
8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he comes leaping over the mountains, skipping over the hills.
8 - Oh, esta é a voz do meu amado! Ei-lo que aí vem, saltando sobre os montes, pulando sobre as colinas.
9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart; behold, he stands behind our wall; he looks through the windows, blossoming through the lattice.
9 Meu amado é como a gazela e como um cervozinho. Ei-lo atrás de nossa parede. Olho pela janela, espreito pelas grades.
10 My beloved spoke and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
10 Meu bem-amado disse-me: Levanta-te, minha amiga, vem, formosa minha.
11 For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over [and] gone;
11 Eis que o inverno passou, cessaram e desapareceram as chuvas.
12 the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the song is come, and the voice of the turtle [dove] has been heard in our land;
12 Apareceram as flores na nossa terra, voltou o tempo das canções. Em nossas terras já se ouve a voz da rola.
13 the fig tree has put forth her [green] figs, and the vines in blossom have given forth [their] fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
13 A figueira já começa a dar os seus figos, e a vinha em flor exala o seu perfume; levanta-te, minha amada, formosa minha, e vem.
14 O my dove, [that art] in the clefts of the rock, in the secret [places] of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet [is] thy voice, and thy countenance [is] beautiful.
14 Minha pomba, oculta nas fendas do rochedo, e nos abrigos das rochas escarpadas, mostra-me o teu rosto, faze-me ouvir a tua voz. Tua voz é tão doce, e delicado teu rosto!
15 Hunt the foxes [for] us, the little foxes, that spoil the vines; for our vines [are] in blossom.
15 - Apanhai-nos as raposas, essas pequenas raposas que devastam nossas vinhas, pois nossas vinhas estão em flor.
16 My beloved [is] mine, and I [am] his; he feeds among the lilies.
16 - Meu bem-amado é para mim e eu para ele; ele apascenta entre os lírios.
17 Until the day breaks and the shadows flee away, return, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.:
17 Antes que sopre a brisa do dia, e se estendam as sombras, volta, ó meu amado, como a gazela, ou o cervozinho sobre os montes escarpados.
