1 I [am] the lily of the field [[Heb. Sharon]] [and] the rose of the valleys.
1 Eu sou a rosa de Sarom, e o lírio dos vales.
2 As the lily among thorns, so [is] my love among the virgins.
2 Como o lírio entre os espinhos, tal é meu amor entre as filhas.
3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wild, so [is] my beloved among the sons. [I] desired to [sit] under his shadow, and his fruit [was] sweet to my taste.
3 Assim como a macieira entre as árvores do bosque, assim é o meu amado entre os filhos. Sentei-me sob a sua sombra com grande prazer, e o seu fruto foi doce ao meu paladar.
4 He brought me to the wine chamber and placed his banner of love over me.
4 Trouxe-me à casa do banquete, e o seu estandarte sobre mim era o amor.
5 Sustain me with flagons [of wine], strengthen me with apples; for I [am] sick with love.
5 Sustentai-me com passas, confortai-me com maçãs, porque eu estou doente de amor.
6 His left hand [is] under my head, and his right hand embraces me.
6 A sua mão esquerda está debaixo da minha cabeça, e a sua mão direita me abraça.
7 I charge you, O ye virgins of Jerusalem, by the roes and by the hinds of the field that ye not awake nor stir up love, until he pleases.
7 Conjuro-vos, ó filhas de Jerusalém, pelas gazelas e cervas do campo, que não desperteis e nem acordeis o meu amor, até que ele queira.
8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he comes leaping over the mountains, skipping over the hills.
8 A voz do meu amado! Eis que ele vem saltando sobre as montanhas, pulando sobre as colinas.
9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart; behold, he stands behind our wall; he looks through the windows, blossoming through the lattice.
9 O meu amado é semelhante à gazela ou ao filhote de cervo; eis que está detrás do nosso muro, olhando pelas janelas, mostrando-se pelas grades.
10 My beloved spoke and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
10 O meu amado falou e me disse: Levanta-te, meu amor, formosa minha, e vem.
11 For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over [and] gone;
11 Porque eis que passou o inverno; a chuva cessou, e se foi;
12 the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the song is come, and the voice of the turtle [dove] has been heard in our land;
12 as flores aparecem na terra, o tempo de cantar dos pássaros chega, e a voz da rola ouve-se em nossa terra.
13 the fig tree has put forth her [green] figs, and the vines in blossom have given forth [their] fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
13 A figueira já deu os seus figos verdes, e as videiras com suas uvas macias exalam um bom aroma; levanta-te, meu amor, formosa minha, e vem.
14 O my dove, [that art] in the clefts of the rock, in the secret [places] of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet [is] thy voice, and thy countenance [is] beautiful.
14 Pomba minha, que estás nas fendas das rochas, nos lugares ocultos das ladeiras, mostra-me o teu semblante, deixa-me ouvir a tua voz, porque doce é a tua voz, e o teu semblante é gracioso.
15 Hunt the foxes [for] us, the little foxes, that spoil the vines; for our vines [are] in blossom.
15 Apanhai-nos as raposas, as raposinhas, que estragam as vinhas, porque as nossas vinhas têm uvas tenras.
16 My beloved [is] mine, and I [am] his; he feeds among the lilies.
16 O meu amado é meu, e eu sou dele; ele apascenta entre os lírios.
17 Until the day breaks and the shadows flee away, return, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.:
17 Até que o dia amanheça, e fujam as sombras, volta, amado meu; faze-te semelhante à gazela ou ao jovem cervo sobre os montes de Beter.
