1 I [am] the lily of the field [[Heb. Sharon]] [and] the rose of the valleys.
1 Eu sou a rosa de Sarom, o lírio dos vales. Esposo
2 As the lily among thorns, so [is] my love among the virgins.
2 Como um lírio entre os espinhos, assim é a minha querida entre as donzelas. Esposa
3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wild, so [is] my beloved among the sons. [I] desired to [sit] under his shadow, and his fruit [was] sweet to my taste.
3 Como a macieira entre as árvores do bosque, assim é o meu amado entre os jovens. Desejo muito a sua sombra e debaixo dela me assento, e o seu fruto é doce ao meu paladar.
4 He brought me to the wine chamber and placed his banner of love over me.
4 Ele me levou à sala do banquete, e o seu estandarte sobre mim é o amor.
5 Sustain me with flagons [of wine], strengthen me with apples; for I [am] sick with love.
5 Sustentem-me com passas, confortem-me com maçãs, pois estou morrendo de amor.
6 His left hand [is] under my head, and his right hand embraces me.
6 A sua mão esquerda está debaixo da minha cabeça, e a direita me abraça.
7 I charge you, O ye virgins of Jerusalem, by the roes and by the hinds of the field that ye not awake nor stir up love, until he pleases.
7 Filhas de Jerusalém, jurem pelas gazelas e pelas corças selvagens que vocês não acordarão nem despertarão o amor, até que este o queira. Esposa
8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he comes leaping over the mountains, skipping over the hills.
8 Ouço a voz do meu amado. Eis que ele vem, saltando sobre os montes, pulando sobre as colinas.
9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart; behold, he stands behind our wall; he looks through the windows, blossoming through the lattice.
9 O meu amado é semelhante ao gamo ou ao filho da gazela. Eis que ele está detrás de nossa parede, olhando pelas janelas, espreitando pelas grades.
10 My beloved spoke and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
10 O meu amado fala e me diz: Esposo Levante-se, minha querida, minha linda, e venha comigo.
11 For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over [and] gone;
11 Porque eis que passou o inverno, a chuva cessou e se foi,
12 the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the song is come, and the voice of the turtle [dove] has been heard in our land;
12 aparecem as flores na terra, chegou o tempo de cantarem as aves, e já se ouve a voz da rolinha em nossa terra.
13 the fig tree has put forth her [green] figs, and the vines in blossom have given forth [their] fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
13 A figueira começou a dar seus figos, e as vinhas em flor exalam o seu aroma. Levante-se, minha querida, minha linda, e venha comigo.
14 O my dove, [that art] in the clefts of the rock, in the secret [places] of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet [is] thy voice, and thy countenance [is] beautiful.
14 Minha pombinha, escondida nas fendas dos penhascos, no esconderijo das rochas escarpadas, mostre-me o seu rosto, deixe-me ouvir a sua voz; porque a sua voz é doce, e o seu rosto é lindo. Esposa
15 Hunt the foxes [for] us, the little foxes, that spoil the vines; for our vines [are] in blossom.
15 Peguem as raposas, as raposinhas, que devastam os vinhedos, porque as nossas vinhas estão em flor.
16 My beloved [is] mine, and I [am] his; he feeds among the lilies.
16 O meu amado é meu, e eu sou dele; ele apascenta o seu rebanho entre os lírios.
17 Until the day breaks and the shadows flee away, return, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.:
17 Antes que rompa o dia e fujam as sombras, volte, meu amado. Venha correndo como o gamo ou o filho das gazelas sobre os montes de Beter.
