¹ It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High;

¹ Bom é render graças ao Senhor e cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo,

² To declare Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness in the night seasons,

² anunciar de manhã a tua misericórdia e, durante as noites, a tua fidelidade,

³ With an instrument of ten strings, and with the psaltery; with a solemn sound upon the harp.

³ com instrumentos de dez cordas, com saltério e com a solenidade da harpa.

⁴ For Thou, LORD, hast made me glad through Thy work; I will exult in the works of Thy hands.

⁴ Pois me alegraste, Senhor , com os teus feitos; exultarei nas obras das tuas mãos.

⁵ How great are Thy works, O LORD! Thy thoughts are very deep.

⁵ Quão grandes, Senhor , são as tuas obras! Os teus pensamentos, que profundos!

⁶ A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand this.

⁶ O inepto não compreende, e o estulto não percebe isto:

⁷ When the wicked spring up as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they may be destroyed for ever.

⁷ ainda que os ímpios brotam como a erva, e florescem todos os que praticam a iniquidade, nada obstante, serão destruídos para sempre;

⁸ But Thou, O LORD, art on high for evermore.

⁸ tu, porém, Senhor , és o Altíssimo eternamente.

⁹ For, lo, Thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, Thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

⁹ Eis que os teus inimigos, Senhor , eis que os teus inimigos perecerão; serão dispersos todos os que praticam a iniquidade.

¹⁰ But my horn hast Thou exalted like the horn of the wild-ox; I am anointed with rich oil.

¹⁰ Porém tu exaltas o meu poder como o do boi selvagem; derramas sobre mim o óleo fresco.

¹¹ Mine eye also hath gazed on them that lie in wait for me, mine ears have heard my desire of the evil-doers that rise up against me.

¹¹ Os meus olhos veem com alegria os inimigos que me espreitam, e os meus ouvidos se satisfazem em ouvir dos malfeitores que contra mim se levantam.

¹² The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹² O justo florescerá como a palmeira, crescerá como o cedro no Líbano.

¹³ Planted in the house of the LORD, they shall flourish in the courts of our God.

¹³ Plantados na Casa do Senhor , florescerão nos átrios do nosso Deus.

¹⁴ They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and richness;

¹⁴ Na velhice darão ainda frutos, serão cheios de seiva e de verdor,

¹⁵ To declare that the LORD is upright, my Rock, in whom there is no unrighteousness.

¹⁵ para anunciar que o Senhor é reto. Ele é a minha rocha, e nele não há injustiça.
