1 Pedro 2
ikz (IKZ) vs VC
1 Mmbe, mutigɨ ʉbhʉbhɨ bhwʉsi, ʉbhʉkangirirya bhwa zeteemwa zʉʉsi, engʼeera na rihari, naatu mutiigobha nʉʉrʉ hasuuhu.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Mwigombe amabheere amazʉmu ga mokoro, chɨmbu abhaana abhabhataarɨ bhakwenda amabheere ga bhaunina, korereke kʉmanaga gaazɨ mobhone kokongʼa kuhika mʉbhʉsabhurwa.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Nangʉ mungʼurirɨ kʉbha Ʉmʉkʉrʉ Yɨɨsu nɨ‑mʉzʉmu.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Mwisukɨrɨ Yɨɨsu. Ewe newe riibhwɨ rihʉru ryu ukwʉmbakɨra. Riibhwɨ riyo, neryo abhaatʉ bhaangirɨ, nawe Mungu akarerobhora, na rinu ubhwera bhʉkʉrʉ mʉmɨɨsʉ gaazɨ.
4 — ausente —
5 Imwɨ imwʉsi, mwangɨ amabhwɨ gʉ ʉbhʉhʉru, ganʉ gakokorwa kwʉmbaka rihekaaru mono Ekoro Ɨndɨndu ɨkʉtʉra kwikara, na mʉrabha bhakuhaani abharɨndu.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Nangʉ Mungu arabhuga mʉMaandɨkʉ Amarɨndu,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Kwa niimwɨ bhanʉ mukwisirirya riibhwɨ riyo, nɨ‑rya bhwera. Nawe, igʉrʉ wa bhanʉ bhatakuryisirirya, Amaandɨkʉ Amarɨndu garabhuga,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Naatu Amaandɨkʉ garabhuga,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Nawe imwɨ ni‑rwibhʉrʉ rʉnʉ rʉrʉbhwɨrwɨ, bhakuhaani bhʉ Ʉmʉtɨmi, riribhita rya abharɨndu, abhaatʉ bha Mungu, korereke mʉraarɨkɨ amahocha gaazɨ amakʉrʉ. Ewe akabhabhɨrɨkɨra kurwa mukiirimya, kusikɨra mubhwɨrʉ bhwazɨ bhwu ukuruguurya.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Zisikʉ zinyuma, mʉtaarɨ abharɨndu bha Mungu, nawe nangʉ imwɨ, nɨ‑bhaatʉ bhaazɨ. Na mʉtaarɨ mʉrʉrɨɨrwɨ ɨbhɨgʉngi na Mungu, nawe nangʉ, mʉrʉrɨɨrwɨ ɨbhɨgʉngi.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Abhasɨɨgwa bhaanɨ, imwɨ, nɨ‑bhagini na bhahiti mʉrɨ mʉʉsɨ mʉnʉ. Nangʉ nɨrabhiisasaama, mutiisiririrya umwʉyʉ gwɨ ɨmɨbhɨrɨ janyu, gʉnʉ gʉkʉhɨgana na niimwɨ, gʉbhahizɨ.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Mokore amazʉmu gatɨ wa abhaatʉ bhanʉ bhatɨɨzɨ Mungu, korereke arɨɨbhɨ bharabhagobha kʉbha, bhabhɨ mʉrɨ, bharore amahocha gaanyu amazʉmu. Na bhatʉrɨ kukumya Mungu igʉrʉ waanyu, urusikʉ rwu ukuuza kwazɨ.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Mʉbhɨ mʉrasʉʉka abhakangati bhʉʉsi bha abhaatʉ, igʉrʉ wʉ ʉkʉsʉʉka Ʉmʉkʉrʉ. Mʉsʉʉkɨ ʉmʉtɨmi waanyu, kʉ kʉbha ewe newe ʉmʉkangati ʉmʉkʉrʉ mucharʉ chanyu.
13 — ausente —
14 Na mʉsʉʉkɨ abhakangati, abheene bhakarobhorwa nʉ ʉmʉkangati wuyo. Bhakarobhorwa korereke bhabhɨ bharaha ɨnyaakʉ abhaatʉ bhanʉ bhakokora ʉbhʉbhɨ, nu ukukumya bhanʉ bhakokora amangʼana amazʉmu.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Mungu areenda, mokore amangʼana amazʉmu, korereke mukiryɨ abhageege bhanʉ bhatɨɨzɨ amangʼana gaazɨ.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Mwikarɨ kwa bhwiyagaaruri, nawe mʉtahokerya ubhwiyagaaruri bhuyo kokora amabhɨ. Mwikarɨ chɨmbu bhambʉʉsa bha Mungu bhakwenderwa kwikara.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Muriikongʼeererye ɨnyaakʉ yɨnʉ ɨtarɨ ye eheene, igʉrʉ wʉ ʉkʉsʉʉka Mungu, kwɨbhu mʉrazomera.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Arɨɨbhɨ muriigumirirya ɨnyaakʉ yɨnʉ mukwenderwa kʉ kʉbha yʉ ʉbhʉbhɨ bhwanyu, bhʉtareeho bhwera. Nawe arɨɨbhɨ muriigumirirya ɨnyaakʉ kʉ kʉbha mʉkʉrirɨ amazʉmu, mmbe mʉrazomera Mungu.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Moreenderwa mwigumiriryɨ, kʉ kʉbha nʉʉrʉ Kiriisitʉ umwene akanyaakibhwa igʉrʉ waanyu. Ko kokorabhu, akabhatigɨra ekerenjo, korereke mʉbhɨ mʉramwɨga.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Ewe ataakʉrirɨ bhʉbhɨ bhwʉbhwʉsi, naabha kʉgamba ʉrʉrɨmɨ rwʉrwʉsi.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Hanʉ aatukirwɨ, atagarukiiryɨ ingʼana ryʉryʉsi. Hanʉ aanyaakiibhwɨ, atabhugirɨ ararɨhanʼya isiirɨ. Nawe, akatigɨra Mungu gʉʉsi, atɨnɨrɨ koheene.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Yɨɨsu umwene akagega ʉbhʉbhɨ bhwɨtʉ mʉmʉbhɨrɨ gwazɨ, akabhambwa kʉmʉsarabha, korereke itwɨ tʉtahizwa kwikɨ nʉ ʉbhʉbhɨ, nawe tʉbhɨ nu ubhwikari bhwe eheene. Imwɨ mʉhʉniibhwɨ kʉ kʉhɨtɨra okotemwa kwazɨ.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Mwarɨ mubhurirɨ ncha zɨngʼʉndu zɨnʉ zɨhabhirɨ, zitigirɨ ɨnzɨra, nawe nangʉ, mʉgarukiirɨ umuriisha waanyu wʉnʉ akʉbhariibha.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
