1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Ero, raise moonaillena, raise ecairellena, janosa monoɨ ijina jitaide. Ie isoide. Omoɨ comecɨaɨ raise marena illena, Jusiñamui rafuena jitaidomoɨ.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Caɨ Nama omoɨna duenaillana jai omoɨ uiñuamona, naimɨe uaina ɨɨnocana jai.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.

5 Naimɨena caɨ jai ɨɨnua jira, naimɨe comɨnɨna jai jaidɨcaɨ. Naimɨe dɨga jai atona ñaɨredɨcaɨ. Naimɨe dɨga jɨaɨe comɨnɨ facaina jɨaɨ ñaɨcabitɨcaɨ. Naimɨena caɨ raise sedallena, Jesucristo caɨna canuamona, Jusiñamui jitaillacɨnona fɨnocana jaidɨcaɨ.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Jusiñamui facaina lloraɨma iena jaie cuega:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Naimɨena omoɨ ɨɨnoia, Jusiñamui omoɨna iobitaite. Naimɨena omoɨ ɨɨnoñenia, faɨfitomoɨ. Jusiñamui facaina lloraɨma mɨcorɨ iena jaie cuega:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Dane cuega:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Jusiñamui jai fetocanodomoɨ. Naimɨemo omoɨ jai duillamona, naimɨe dɨga atona ñaɨredomoɨ. Jusiñamui ua comɨnɨdomoɨ. Naimɨena omoɨ nia ɨɨnoñenia, jeacɨno anamo omoɨ illa jira, jitɨredɨnomo itomoɨ isoidomoɨ. Naiemona omoɨna jai jillobitade. Naimɨe anamo jai omoɨ illamona, useredɨnomo jai itomoɨ isoidomoɨ. Eo mare rafue omoɨmo naimɨe fɨnua jira, iena llocana omoɨ jai.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Jaie Jusiñamui comɨnɨñedomoɨ; iadedɨ birui Jusiñamui comɨnɨdomoɨ. Naimɨe omoɨna duenaillana jaie uiñoñedomoɨ. Birui iena uiñotomoɨ.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Cue isiruiganodomoɨ. Jusiñamui illanomo omoɨ birui jaɨnaɨaɨlla jira, enɨruemo jaca iñeitomoɨ. Enɨruemo jaca omoɨ iñena jira, jeacɨnona fɨnocana jaiñeno. Jeacɨno omoɨ comecɨaɨna namataacana jira, iena ebiruiñeno, naie anamo omoɨ i raillano.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Jusiñamuina ɨɨnoñedɨno motomo omoɨ illamona, mare rafuena fɨnocana jai. Omoɨna birui jeare ñaɨtɨmacɨ; iadedɨ omoɨ marena illana naimacɨ uiñuamona, Jusiñamuina ɨco naimacɨ ɨɨnoia, naimɨemo iobillacɨnona fecaitɨmacɨ.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Caɨ Namamo omoɨ duilla jira, illaɨcomɨnɨ anamo raise i. Rɨaɨ dɨga omoɨ nanoca illaɨma uaina ɨɨno.
13 — ausente —
14 Naimacɨna omoɨ illaɨcomɨnɨ fetua jira, omoɨ gobernadores uaina ɨɨno. Maraiñede rafue omoɨ fɨnoia, omoɨna duere fɨnoitɨmacɨ; iadedɨ mare rafuena omoɨ fɨnoia, omoɨri iobitɨmacɨ.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Jusiñamuidɨ mare rafuena omoɨ fɨnuana jitaide. Iena omoɨ fɨnua jira, omoɨna ebena ñaɨtɨno uaina llɨɨcaitaitomoɨ.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Jusiñamui anamo caɨ illamona: “Jɨaɨe illaɨma uaina ɨɨnoñeitɨcaɨ” raiñeitɨcaɨ. Caɨ enɨrue illaɨma uaina caɨ ɨɨnoñenia, jeacɨnona fɨnodɨcaɨ. Jusiñamui dɨbeimo caɨ illa jira, naimɨe jitaillacɨnona fɨnocana caɨ jaillɨ.

17 Nana comɨnɨmo marena fɨno. Nana creyentiaɨna isirui. Jusiñamuina jacɨruioicaida ɨɨno. Rɨaɨ dɨga omoɨ illaɨma uaina ɨɨno.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Patrón anamo damɨerie itomoɨ. Omoɨ patrón ocuica uaina ɨɨnocana omoɨ jai. Omoɨ patrón marena fecuise ocuia, naimɨe uaina ɨɨno. Naimɨe raɨre icɨria, naimɨe ocuica uaina jɨaɨ ɨɨno.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Maraiñede rafuena omoɨ fɨnoñenia, omoɨ patrón omoɨna duere fɨnoia, Jusiñamuimo omoɨ comecɨaɨna facajanona, ɨbana oñeno. Ɨbana omoɨ oñenia, Jusiñamuimona mare.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Maraiñede rafuena omoɨ fɨnoia, omoɨ patrómona duere sefuitomoɨ; iadedɨ maraiñede rafuena omoɨ fɨnoñenia, omoɨ patrón omoɨna duere fɨnoia, ɨbana omoɨ oñenia, Jusiñamuimona mare.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Duere omoɨ sefuia, ɨbana oñeno. Iese omoɨ illena, Jusiñamui omoɨna fetode. Cristo caɨ facaina ɨbana oñeno duere sefuide. Naimɨe isoi caɨ illena, naimɨe isoi rafuena fɨnocana caɨ jaillɨ.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Naimɨedɨ maraiñede rafuena jaca fɨnoñede. Taɨnona jaca lloñede.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Cruzmo naimɨe fiodaillamona jeacɨno anamo caɨ iñellena, caɨ jeacɨno facaina naimɨe fiodaite. Jusiñamui jitailla isoi naimɨe fiodaite. Naimɨe jai duere sefuilla jira, caɨ jeacɨnomona jai jillodɨcaɨ.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Sedañega toɨca llaudaɨaɨ isoi jaie ebena jaisoidɨcaɨ. Caɨ sedaraɨma anamo jai itɨcaɨ. Naimɨedɨ caɨ comecɨaɨna jai eenote.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
