2 “Obwakabaka bwʼomwigulu tubufaananiaku nʼokabaka eyategekeire omutaanewe embaga yʼobugole.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Awo esaawa yʼembaga oweyatuukire nʼatuma abagalamabe okukoba abagenibe abeete baabe oku mbaga. Neye abageni ni bagaana okwaba.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “Kale nʼatuma abagalama abandi okubakoba bati, ‘Bamalire okutegeka embaga era nʼokusala ente endaawo, nʼente egindi ensava nʼokutegeka nabuli kimo. Kale mwize twabe oku mbaga.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Neye abageni abeete kadi kubafaaku era nʼabamo ni beeyabira mubyabwe. Era abandi ni beeyabira mu misiri gyabwe, nʼabandi mu bisuubuuzi byabwe.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Era nʼabasigairewo ni bakwata abagalamabe ni bababitya kubbikubbi, era ni babaita.”
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 OYesu ni yeeyongera ati, “Awo okabaka nʼanyiiga, kale nʼasindika abaisirikalebe, ni bajigirica abaiti abo, era ni booca ekibuga kyabwe.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Awo nʼakoba abagalamabe abandi ati, ‘Embaga yʼobugole bamalire okugitegeka neye abo abembaire njetere tibasaanira.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Kale mwabe omu mansanganzira gʼenguudo gyʼomu kibuga, era mwanirize ogumwajirya yenayena aize oku mbaga.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Era abagalama abo ni baaba omu nguudo gyʼomu kibuga, ni baaniriza bonabona abebaajiirye, abasa nʼababbibabbi, era ekisenge omwabbaire embaga ni kiizula abageni.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Neye okabaka oweyaingiire okubona abageni abaizire, nʼabonamu omusaiza atazwaire ebizwalo ebisa ebiwoomera okuzwala oku mbaga yʼobugole.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Kale okabaka nʼamukoba ati, ‘Munange, oingiire otya munu nga tozwaire ebizwalo ebisa?’ Neye omusaiza oyo yabbaire abula ekyokwiramu.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Awo okabaka nʼakoba abaweereryabe ati, ‘Mumusibe engalo nʼebigere, era mumumume e nza omu ndikiirya, eeyo egibakungira nʼokuŋiiya amaino olwʼobulumi.’ ”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Era oYesu nʼamaliirirya ati, “OKibbumba abantu bangi abaayeta okwingira omu bwakabakabwe, neye alondamu batono.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Oluzwanyuma lwʼebyo abamo oku Bafalisaayo ni baaba, ni bateesa oku ngeri egibakwatisyamu oYesu omu ntumulaye.
15 — ausente —
16 Awo ni bamutumira abamo oku beegi baabwe, nʼabamo oku bawagiri ba kabaka oKerode, ni bamukoba bati, “Musomesya, tumaite tuti iwe oli wʼamazima, era abantu obeegesya mazima gʼebyo oKibbumba ebyataka bakole. Era tokolerera bantu kukusiima, olwʼokubba bonabona obabitya mu ngeri moiza.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Kale atyanu, otukobere, oseega otya? Kituuce okuwa oKaisaali omusolo, ooba bbe?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Neye oYesu yabbaire amaite omutego gwabwe, kale nʼabakoba ati, “Bananfunsi inywe, lwaki munkema?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Mundeetere ondusu ogubasasula omusolo!”
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 kaisi nʼababuulya ati, “Ekifaananyi nʼamaliina ebiriku byani?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Ni bamwiramu bati, “Bya Kaisaali.” Awo nʼabakoba ati, “Kale atyanu ebya Kaisaali mubiwe oKaisaali, nʼebya Kibbumba mubiwe oKibbumba.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Era owebawuliire ebyo, ni beewunya ino. Kale ni bamuleka, era ni baaba.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Oku lunaku olunanyere olwo, abamo oku Basedukaayo, abakoba bati mpaawo kuzuukira, ni baaba egiri oYesu.
23 — ausente —
24 Awo ni bamubuulya bati, “Musomesya, oMusa yatukobere ati singa omuntu owaafa nga tabyaireku omwana, omuganda wʼomufu ali nʼokufumbirwa onamwandu oyo, kaisi babyalire omufu nago abaana.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Atyanu, wabbairewo abaganda musanvu abetwabbaire tumaite. Era asooka nʼaleeta omukali neye nʼafa nga tabyaireku omwana. Kale omugandawe nʼafumbirwa onamwandu oyo.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Era ekintu ekinyere ekyo niikyo ekyatuukire nʼoku wokubiri nʼoku wokusatu, paka oku womusanvu.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Oluzwanyuma, omukali yena nʼafa.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Atyanu olwo oku lunaku olwʼokuzuukira, omukali oyo yalibba waani kwabo omusanvu ngoyo bonabona bamufumbiirweku?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Awo oYesu nʼabairamu ati, “Mugota lwʼokutamanya Biwandiike, era nʼobwezye bwa Kibbumba.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Kiri kiti abantu owebalizuukira, balibba ooti bamalaika omwigulu, nga tibakaali babba nʼobufumbo.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Kaisi ebifa oku kuzuukira, timusomangaku oKibbumba ekiyakobere? Yakobere ati,
Iye Kibbumba wʼabantu ababba aboomi newankubbaire nga bamalire okufa, neye tiwa bantu abasigala omu kufa.”
35 Era omoiza kwibo, omukugu omu byʼaMateeka ga Musa, nʼamubuulya ngʼamukema ati,
36 “Musomesya, kiragiroki ekikira byonabyona obukulu omu Mateeka ga Musa?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Awo oYesu nʼamwiramu ati, “Otakenge oMusengwa iye oKibbumbawo nʼomwoyogwo gwonagwona, nʼobwomibwo bwonabwona, nʼebiseegobyo byonabyona.
40 Era oku biragiro ebyo ebibiri, aMateeka ga Musa gonagona nʼeBiwandiike byʼabanaabbi kubisinzirira.”
41 Awo aBafalisaayo owebabbaire nga bakaali bakumbaine awo, oYesu nʼababuulya ati,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Museega mutya oku Kurisito ogubasukireku amafuta? Mwizukulu waani?”
Responderam: De Davi!
43 Awo oYesu niiye okubabuulya ati, “Kale olwo lwaki oDawudi onyere, oweyabbaire ngʼaizwire oMwoyo oMutukulye, yamwetere Musengwawe? Kiri nti yakobere ati,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘OMusengwa iye oKibbumba yakobere oMusengwa wange ati:
45 Awo oYesu nʼamaliriirya ati, “Kale obanga oDawudi onyere amweta Musengwawe, kaisi tete olwo oKurisito ayezya atya okubba mwizukuluwe?”
