1 Naende Yeso agakwana nabarabwo ase emebayeeno akabora,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Oborwoti bwa igoro nigo bogwekaine nomorwoti okorete omoyega bw’enyangi y’omwana oye.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Agatoma abasomba baye batuunye baria konya barangerigwe ase enyangi, korende barabwo bakaanga gocha.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Naende agatoma abasomba bande, agateeba: Bateebie abarangerigwe: Rigereria, naroisirie endagera y’ane, chieri amo n’echimori chiane chianyenyirwe, na bionsi biabeire ang’e; inchwo ase omoyega bw’enyangi.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Korende bagachaaya amang’ana aya, bakagenda, oyomo ase omogondo oye, na oyonde ase oboonchoreria bwaye;
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 na abatigarete bakabwata abasomba baye, bakabakorera bobe bakabaita.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Omorwoti oria akaba nendamwamu, agatoma emeganda y’abarwani, egasiria abaiti baria, na koyosamba omochie obo nomorero.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Erio agateebia abasomba baye: Ekeene enyangi yabeire ang’e, korende abaariganetigwe tibagwenereti.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Gaki, genda ase chinchera chinene, aba moranyore bonsi mobarangerie gocha ase omoyega bw’enyangi.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Abasomba baria bagasoka, bagaika ase chinchera, bagasangereria abanyorete bonsi, ababe na abaya; igo enyomba y’enyangi egaichorwa nabageni.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Korende ekero omorwoti achia gosoa korigereria abageni, akarora omonto oyomo aroro otabegete eyanga y’enyangi.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Akamoboria: Mosani, naki gwakorete ogasoa aiga, na aye otari neyanga y’enyangi? Agakira‐kiri.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Erio omorwoti agateebia abakoreri: Moboe amaboko na amagoro, momotugute ase omosunte isiko; aroro abanto inababe nekerero na okoriania amaino.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Inaki abarangerigwe nabaange, korende abachorirwe nabake.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Erio Abafarisai bakagenda, bakaroberia buna bagochia gotega Yeso ase amang’ana aye.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Gaki toteebie naki orooche aye? Mboronge komoa Kaisari ebango, gose taibo.”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Korende Yeso, konya omanyire obong’ainereria bwabo, akabora, “Inaki mogonteema, inwe abang’ainereria?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Inyorokie ebesa y’ebango.” Bakamorentera ebesa.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Yeso akababoria, “Ekieni eke na amariiko aya nebiang’o?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Bakamoiraneria, “Nebia Kaisari.” Erio akabateebia, “Nabo, ebire ebia Kaisari moe Kaisari, na ebia Nyasae moe Nyasae.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ekero bachia koigwa ring’ana riria, bagakumia; bakamotiga, bakagenda.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Naboigo noyo o kabere akamotwara, na oyo o gatato, goika bonsi batano na babere bakaera.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Omoerio o bonsi omokungu oria nere agakwa.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Inee! Ase okobokigwa, mokang’o arabe ase baria batano na babere; naki bonsi mbameny’anete nere?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Korende Yeso akabairaneria, “Mwasirire inwe, ekiagera timomanyeti amariiko, nonya nokobua kwa Nyasae.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Inaki ase okobokigwa tibakonyuoma gose tibakonyuomwa, korende nigo barabe buna abamalaika ba Nyasae bare igoro.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Na ase okobokigwa kw’abakuure timwana gosoma eri mwatebetigwe na Nyasae:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 Inche ninche Nyasae o Aburaamu, na Nyasae o Isaka, na Nyasae o Yakobo? Ere tari Nyasae bw’abakuure, korende Nyasae bw’abare moyo.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Ekero omoganda ochia koigwa aya, ogakumia ase okworokereria kwaye.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Korende Abafarisai, ekero bachia koigwa ng’a Yeso obakiririe Abasadukai, bagasangererekana amo.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Oyomo ase barabwo, omonto bw’amachiiko, akamobooria ase okomoteema,
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “Omworokia, ngochiika ki kore okonene ase amachiiko onsi?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Akamoteebia, “Mwanche Omonene Nyasae oo nenkoro yao yonsi, na omoyo oo bwonsi, na obong’aini bwao bwonsi.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Oko nakwo ogochika okonene, naende nakwo kw’eritang’ani.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Nogwa kabere gokoreng’aine noko: Mwanche omogisangio oo buna bweanchete aye omonyene.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Ase amachiiko aya abere naro atenenerete amachiiko onsi na ababani.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Abafarisai kobasangererekanire amo, Yeso akababoria,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Inaki inwe mokorengereria ase Kristo? Nomwana o ng’o are?” Bakamoiraneria, “Nomwana o Daudi.”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Akababoria, Inki rende gekogera Daudi, akoraagwa n’Omoika, akamoroka Omonene, okobora:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 Omonene agateebia Omonene one:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Gaki, onye Daudi okomooroka Kristo, naki rende arabe omwana oye?
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Onde tarenge ore konyara komoiraneria ing’ana; nonya nkorwa rituko riria monto onde tarenge na boremu komoboria maborio ande.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
